Post Due Date & more thread!

Reply to this thread with your estimated due date and where you plan to birth. Later on, you can update with the baby's gender or just let me know if you don't plan to find out. If you want your real name added, let me know, and I'll include that. And if you think that ore information would be useful or interesting to have handy, let me know.

My EDD is July 16 (although my other babies all came late, so I'm expecting to go more toward the end of July). I am planning to have this baby at the same freestanding birth center in Oregon where I've had my others.

I'm not sure about finding out the gender. I'll probably do what I did for my other babies, which is to only have an ultrasound if there's a really good reason for it. With my first, I had no complications, so we discovered his gender at birth. With my second, I had bleeding at 34 weeks due to a low-lying placenta (it "moved" out of the way in time for me to birth naturally). I had a couple of ultrasounds to figure out what was going on, so we found out her gender at that point. And with my third, I didn't find out her gender until I was over 41 weeks pregnant, and my midwife wanted to make sure the baby was still doing okay. So we found out her gender just a few days before her birth at 42+0. I'll probably be Team Green for this baby, but if I have to have an ultrasound anyway for some reason, then I'll find out the gender at that point.

Happily married for 11 years. 9 year old son, 7 year old daughter, 5 year old daughter, and baby daughter.

Hi, I'm Haley. EDD 7/27 with my 3rd (surprise) baby. Hoping to not find out the gender - if I can convince my husband. I am planning to birth at a freestanding birth center.

I am due with #3 on July 28, 2015. I had my daughter on her due date and my son at 39w2d so I'm just guessing..the 20-something of July. :-)

I am currently trying to decide between a hospital and home birth (#1 was free standing birth center, #2 was hospital). Leaning towards hospital.

I am having some spotting (currently on day four, the first and third days I did need a pad) so I'm hoping I get to stay here with you ladies! :-)

Is this the official "roll call" thread? I would have expected more people in it by now!

Anyhow, I may be due July 30/15 with baby 4 (haven't even missed a cycle yet so feeling a little cautious....), we won't find out the sex and he/she will be born at home.

Due 7/8 with our 3rd... haven't decided yet if we'll find out gender, but leaning towards yes.

Most likely low-intervention hospital birth (good experiences with our mama-friendly hospital so far!)

July 8th, hoping for a VBAC at the hospital 2 hours away! Gender - still thinking about whether to find out. We didn't with our first.

July 20th due date (But my guess is July 6th!) I think we will probably find out the gender. Either hospital birth with my rockstar OB, or homebirth. We'll see.

Mama to DD (7), DS (4), DD (2) and a new little one expected July 2015!

I am slowly coming out of denial....

By LMP I am due on 7/22, but the only way this baby could have come to be is if it was conceived way early in my cycle, like CD5 so maybe earlier. In the grand scheme of things it probably doesn't really matter. Baby number 4, pregnancy number 5. We will not find out the gender until birth. Currently planning a homebirth, but I am struggling to find providers here in NC where we just moved.

Where do you live in NC? I live in Raleigh - home birth doesn't seem to be favored here at all. The only homebirth midwife I knew of shut down and moved to TN a couple years ago. There are a couple of freestanding birth centers, though.

We are also in Raleigh, we've only been here since August. There are two legal options, CNMs and the rest all run underground (CPMs) I have an interview set up with Nancy one of the CNM's this week. Everyone goes to the birth center in Chapel Hill, but I've done a BC. If I have to get in the car I don't want to do it. I am feeling very limited in my Birth Choices and I hate it.

It is NOT a home birth friendly state here. I have a friend who had one 4 years ago but that was with the midwife who moved away recently. I'm planning on touring Baby + Co in Cary because it's 5 min from my house. My gyn is also really close and I like her a lot, but that means another hospital birth. Nice to "meet" you. Where do your children go to school?

I don't know. I'm game if we need another...

I'm going to C&P the template from June's Roll Call thread:

(1.) Due Date (Actual date, "beginning," "middle," or "end" of June if you prefer): July 21, 2015
(2.) What number child this is for you, and if it is a rainbow baby: Baby number 5

And please include any of this other info that you'd like to:
Name: Erin
Age: 37 (will be 38 when babe is due)
Location: Philly 'burbs
How long it took you to get your BFP/if this is a surprise baby: Spontaneously threw caution to the wind this cycle and here we are.
Family (spouse, other children, pets, etc.): DH + 14 year old daughter, 11 year old daughter, 8 year old son, 4 year old son.
Baby's gender (hopes/guesses): My 4 year old has mentioned having 3 sisters a couple of times in the last two weeks...intuition? I've been in boy-mode for the last 8+ years, but it doesn't matter what the sex is.
Birth plans/preferences: Homebirth
Blog/website/etc:
Anything else you would like to share: My oldest will be 15 in February and I'm wondering what it'll be like to have children 15 years apart. She was 10 when the last baby was born. We've REALLY outgrown this house and not sure how we're going to make things work with another babe. I need to focus on some serious manifestations.

How long it took you to get your BFP/if this is a surprise baby: Enormous Surprise, so much so I have no idea when it could have happened. Trojan owes me my money back
Family (spouse, other children, pets, etc.): We have an almost 8 year old DD, a 4.5 year old DS,and a 2 year old DS.
Baby's gender (hopes/guesses): I have no clue what I think this baby is, I'm pretty much never right. We won't be finding out until birth
Birth plans/preferences: Hoping to have a homebirth despite this being a very non-homebirth friendly state
Blog/website/etc:
Anything else you would like to share: I have had pretty much every kind of birth imaginable. My first was an induction with an Epi, my second was at a low intervention BC attached to a hospital all natural, and my third was a home waterbirth. I also have formula feed 2/3 of my kids and BFed my youngest for 22 months after we struggled with tongue tie, FTT, and low supply.

Congratulations! And do you mean "intercourse was 2 days before ovulation"? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think conception can occur two days before ovulation...?
