AF came this morning.

Guess I really psyched myself out with all my "symptoms"

Good luck to all of you!

It's just really hard to tell, since pregnancy and pms symptoms can be so similar. You're not alone, in practically "knowing" you are pregnant, to find out that you're not. It's tough. I mean, there's no doubt that the symptoms you felt were real. They can just be so deceptive sometimes!

I'm here... I POAS ($ store tests) yesterday and today, at 8 and 9 DPO respectively, both negative, of course! I had late positives, a week late with DD, and low HCG levels at the beginning of DS's pregnancy. I think I tend to have low HCG levels, and therefore test negative longer. i SWORE I wouldn't test until closer to AF was due, as I KNOW from experience it will take me that long to get a positive, even on the sensitive tests1! I'm getting more and more convinced I am PG. AF is due on 1/20 but I O'd like a week earlier than I had expected, so I wouldn't be shocked if she showed up early, if I am not PG. If I am, I would be due right around our anniversary in late September!

lemontree: I'm sorry you're out. I can imagine how bummed you are. I offer you many hugs and a whole heap of crossed fingers for next month.

lula's mom: Outstanding news. We needed one around here :-)

ilovemyavery I can't blame you for testing so soon :-) I have been fighting off the urge for a couple of days now. I'm 8 dpo today and I keep reasoning with myself. Fortunately for me the urge to test is strongest at like 2pm which there is no point to at all at this stage so ... I have two tests here and ordered some more from a place on ebay. I'll be 9 or 10 dpo by the time they arrive and I can guarantee that I'll go through a few of them straight away.

I'm still a bit achey low down at times through the day and my 2 - 5pm slump is still happening. I have also started breaking out in spots which has only ever happened before when I have had BFP so ...

Anyway ladies, I still have my fingers crossed for everyone.

Congratulations lula's mom!!! I'm so happy for you!!!

ElljaeT: I think the main reason I am non-stressed about TTC is because we already have two kids and DH and I are completely fine if this is the size our family remains. We would both love a third dearly, but I have PCOS and we are realistic and know that may not happen. So we both have the attitude of if we get pregnant we will be very happy, if not we already feel doubly blessed.

WAHM to a toddler, preschooler, and kindergarten student.

ilovemyavery - I have the same issue with getting negatives, well I did with my first anyway. Even at 3 weeks past ovulation, I was still getting negatives, but a doctor's blood test did show I was pregnant. I wish I had taken some more tests to see how long it really took me to get a positive. I most definitely am waiting as long as possible to take one because they don't seem to work with me either.

: Congrats Lula's Mom :

I'm out this cycle too! Well after testing two days in a row while continuing to spot I then tested the fallowing two days and I am now on CD 3 of a new cycle. All this summed up to a chemical pregnancy. So hopefully this cycle is more successful than last.

Congrats KikaKika!! ::

holly22685 and lemontree Better luck next month!

KLM99-- Isn't this annoying??? It's hard enough to wait, it's harder still to know that it could be at least 10 more days (AF is due in 7 days, plus three or so extra for me to start testing positive, I'm not THAT timely each month, so a few extra days wouldn't be a big surprise) before I know for sure. I tested again this morning 10DPO, still negative OF COURSE. I'm not usually this bad about POAS. I can usually control myself! I'm just very glad for the $ store. At this rate, I would be broke in no time!

Good luck to all of you waiting!

congrats! I'm glad to see we have a couple of BFPs on here finally - I was beginning to think this thread was bad luck

I totally feel pregnant (of course I'll probably have to eat my words in a few days!). I've been having light AF-type cramps for a week off and on now and I just have that slightly nauseous but not really feeling that I haven't had since my first. I'm 12DPO today - wonder if I can hold out until the end of the week? How's everyone feeling?

KikaKika: Yay Yay Yay Yay! I really am thrilled for you.

9 dpo today and still hanging in there. Although if the tests I ordered from ebay arrive today I don't know how much longer that will last. It's silly I know but I am really starting to dislike the TWW.

Seriously, I'm obsessed--and I'm just starting the TWW! DH and I have been busy, as I've seen two temperature drops (Friday and Sunday), with the temp up today. I had some pain yesterday--I can usually feel my ovulation, so I think we're on the right track. I'm super excited to be on the bandwagon, but terrified, as I'm coming off a very early miscarriage (MC Dec 29, with final confirmation Dec 31).

I know someone else was in the right after MC category... I'll pray for us both that we get good news soon to erase any traces of sadness left. Then again, I know if I get a BFP, I'm just going to be terrified for two months. But, totally worth it.

Crossing my fingers and folding my hands for all of us!

Loving wife to my amazing husband. Three (December 2008, March 2009 and August 2009). Just past 11 weeks with #4. Shooting heparin 2x daily, with the bruises to prove it. Proud parent of a giant : .

I'm feeling the same, though my cramping isn't AF-like at all, which really gave me some hope. Poas today (AF due Thurs/Fri) bc DF couldn't wait, lol, and BFN. That's why they come in two packs though, so if there's nothing else happening I'll take the other one Thurs or Friday.

I was more disappointed by the - than I was prepared for. We've both been saying we'd be thrilled, but if it's negative it'll be okay and we'll try again later. But it seems to have hit me really hard, and I'm wishing AF would just come and get it over with already.

My BBs are bigger and tender, which hasn't let up all week. Crampy, moody, but maybe this is due to AF soon? Also, extreme fatigue. I started taking vitamins almost 2 weeks ago to combat this in case there is a vitamin deficiency, but I'm still so exhausted. It's the kind of tired that makes you feel like you've taken some sleep medication or something.

I've also been having vivid crazy dreams just about every night, which isn't usual for me. OH, and I've been drinking a lot of milk, which is weird, (DH notices too), because I haven't really drank much milk for years. Now I'm actually really thirsty for it.

Who knows...I'm not convinced I'm pregnant but then again I am. I think I'll be surprised either way things turn out. Just 2-3 more days...

Can I join? So, I've been waiting for my second cycle to return since my ectopic in October. My first returned @ 6 weeks after my surgery, which isn't unusual for me. My OB wanted me to come in for a blood test if I hadn't had my period by now. I took an OPK on Friday as well as a pregnancy. I got a light line on the OPK and a BFN on the pregnancy test. DH and I dtd on Saturday and then again on Sunday. I had excess CM most of the weekend and then Sunday afternoon I took another OPK and the test line was darker than the control, so yeah! Now my OB and I are waiting until the end of the month to see if AF starts. So, I guess I am probably officially 1-2 dpo and I'll poas on the 31st!

Thank you, everyone!!!

Here is the picture of the test:

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3116/...97b57578_b.jpg

As you can see - line is very light, but it's there.
I think I will test again on Wednesday, since hCG doubles in approx. 2 days, so that line should be stronger then.

Hope to see many, many more BFP's here soon!

:

Take care!

I cross-posted this in the TTC after a loss, but I'm kinda freaking out here... I think I see a line!

http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h3...x/000_0095.jpg

I just took a "real" test, and I'm getting a shadow-y line on that as well. It's excruciatingly faint... Does this count as a line??
