man, I really need to get pregnant NOW. I think af is coming tomorrow or the next day. I just feel it, and I think we missed the window this month.

But more than my want for another baby, and our readyness is the fact that we need the insurance for dd. Please, no one judge. We would totally have another baby anyway at this time, and we'd NEVER have another baby just for insurance purposes... but we make too much money for our DKC (government insurance for kids and pregnant women) as a family of 3 ...but only by like 100$ a month so we'll definitly qualify for a family of 4. And we really need to bring dd to a neurological/sleep specialist. But we can't until we are pregnant. And we've been waiting to ttc so that they would be 2y apart, and counting down the months to helping dd (its not an immediate issue or we would have already been and just handled the insane bill that we can't afford)...and now it seems like we can't get pregnant. And I really need to bring dd to this doctor. ugh. Its just so frusterating that we barely make over the limit and can't get the help we need! And its not like we can just go, because these doctors are just ridiculasly expensive!!! like 1000's of $$ for one visit!!

I just needed to get that out. It looks like I'm never going to get sleep. which probubly means I'm never going to be able to get pregnant. idk...I just dont know anymore.

sorry for complaining. and thanks for listening/reading

Danielle. I don't know what else to offer really. I hope AF stays away for you.

You can add me to the 2ww list! I don't post much, things move so fast in here I can't keep up, but I read when I can. I got crosshairs today, so I'm 3 dpo. We did a good job making full use of my fertile window so I'm hoping it worked. We're going away next week, so I'll have something to keep my mind busy.

I'm still waiting to ovulate, later than ever due to my very late very odd cycle last month. I hope you get your BFP soon Danielle.

We don't have anything plan for Valentine's and usually don't really celebrate it at all. We just had our 9th wedding anniversary on the 15th, so we're still good.

Just ovulated. Showed my spike this morning. Hopefully we had enough sex to seal the deal. Will know more in a week if we see another upward shift!

Hi there... another month, huh?
I went to a fertility doctor this week. He wants me to wait until we've completely weaned before doing anything. I was prepared to take the clomid since everything I've read says it's ok to take while still breastfeeding... but he wants me to take Letrozole instead - and it is too new to have any info on. It definately looks bad to take while nursing.
We're down to nursing only 3 times a day... I won't just stop, but I will wait until he asks at those times rather than going straight to it. We'll see how it goes.

If anyone has any opinions on the Letrizole pass them on!

Hi mamas,
Just lurking around here these days
Thought I'd say hi as we're not really actively trying, although I am currently actively obsessing.

Its only my second cycle of af (dd is 2.5) and its been 3 years since I've been here and read TCOYF.

Here's my querry: its cd 24 and o'd (possibly) around cd15. Should all the cf be gone by now? There is still some - mostly creamy white, sometimes yellow, sometimes streaked. Just wondering (ok obsessing) if that may mean a possible pregnancy. I mean is all cf gone a few days after o? Or does it slowly dry up until cd 28?

Thanks for all your help. I know some of you are current experts in this field right now

Hey mimi, I'd def. test. As I was obsessing when I was trying to concieve ds2the only month that what you are describing is the month I finally got pregnant. I o'd then as usual I was expecting my cm to dry up as it always did, but then it stayed, become yellowish, def really creamy, and stayed that way until my water broke I'd stay tes, that was for sure a pg sign for me.

Anyways, oh yeah I'm Samantha and currently wanting (sort of) but waiting. I REALLY want a girl 2 boys for me already and I'm thinking pink!

But here's the thing, my ds2 is actually almost 2 months old!!!! I already had my 1st pp period on the 26th of Jan. (could have been risdual lotchia, but with the cramps and nipple soreness I think it was af) So at my pp visit I decided on the combo pill for bc as it will regulate my cycle, or at least keep my cycle, I am taking it until Feb. 14th when the pack is done, then we are going commando with bc and seeing what happens. I got pg the month after the pill with ds1 so I think that may happen again. Finn is a really quick and short nurser and he currently sleeps 6+hours uninterupted at night (I know freak baby!!) So when the pill pack is empty Finn will be 9wks. Please don't judge, I just love babies! I really want a girl, and want to try the shuttles method. If it doesn't happen right away, then we may stop trying, who knows. . . anyway put me under

WAITING TO BE READY!

shunee~ If your not charting, then you can take a pregnancy test to find out if your pregnant or not already. Most people don't Ovulate before getting their 1st PP AF but some do. You can chart temps for free at Fertility Planner

I had trouble conceiving my second and had to take vitex. This time around, last month, af showed up without much of a boo. I take this as a sign of my overall greater, stronger health on the account of following this healing program.
Its high in minerals (from sea salt) and good fats (for cellular and hormonal health), and grain free (which I believe were killing me! my health and energy have sky rocketed without them!) Oh, and my kiddos have better health too, moving out of their allergies, on this program:

Happy February. I'm still waiting for anything to happen. My girlie was sick and teething and so was nursing nonstop around the clock for a couple of weeks. I think that put what seemed to be impending O on hold. I'll just wait and see.

Valentines plans? Husband and I are going to run a relay race. It is something different that should be fun.

Have you tried applying anyway? When I was pregnant w/ DD2 we moved to another state w/ no insurance. I applied for our state healthcare program and was surprised when I got approved for straight medicaid instead of the program for pregnant women and young children. The income guidelines showed we made $100.00 over the medicaid amount.

Mimi - Go test! You never know for sure until you see that second line (or that plus sign!)!

For Valentine's Day I am hoping for a BFP! Really, we'll be at home with the family. DH will probably have a new Valentine's Day themed book for the girls and a new stuffed animal - it's tradition. BUT I am still hoping for a BFP right around then. I think I O'd this past weekend - everything was right (high open cervix (seriously, I could barely find it it was so high and soft!), slipper cf, dtd), but now I have a slight lower bachache, some very mild cramping, and light spotting. I really need to start temping so I know for sure. If this is a bum cycle I may try soy... anyone try it before? I'd really like to move my O day from CD 34 to CD 15... long cycles mean fewer chances!

Hi all! I'm new here...still nursing my almost 18 month old girl, and ttc #2!

I just got off of the minipill Dec. 3rd, had my first pp period starting Jan. 5. I've been charting since then, and it's all over the place. I guess my body is still adjusting.

So...hi! I guess I'm still waiting to O...for sure!

Sorry I haven't been around! I'm now in the 2WW!!! I'm so happy that I O'd on my own! :

For Valentines Day I think we'll just hang out at home, maybe go out to dinner with the kids and exchange little gifts. I always put together a little bag of goodies for the kids. We'll be making valentines as a craft to exchange as well!

Hi, my name is Lindsay...I have a 15 month old son who I'm still nursing very often. We haven't seriously been TTC (my son was not planned, I was on NuvaRing) but we have not been preventing...and I've had my period since my son was 3 months old. But I've never gotten pregnant yet. I just recently started looking at charts, to see which days I'd be most likely to get pregnant, and we started trying a bit on those days. But after 2 months of that, nothing. I thought I was going to always be so fertile, b/c I got PG while on BC...but I guess things changed!! I haven't tried taking temperatures or anything like that...I don't know much about how to get started TTC, can anyone point me to a resource that spells it out really simply and has some good tips?? I think the best thing is to dtd every other day or every 3 days, but when cosleeping w/ a toddler that is pretty hard. Since I'm having regular periods and have been for a while, that pretty much means I can conceive, right? I am probably underweight, about 5'8" and 108 lbs (would like to be 125 but i just can't gain anything since my son bfs so often), do you think thta has something to do with it? Thanks so much for all your help! I love the mothering forums and this is my first time on TTC!

My temp dropped down to coverline this morning, (see chart) this is totally a BFN chart. :

I've had wicked nausea this evening and worse yesterday evening...
And some cramping today...sigh, I'll probably moon out tomorrow.

Well, at least I get to try the uterine massage...what else to try? My charts look so normal, O'ing every month on the 15th, 11, 12 day LPs...

Maybe I'll give Maca to DH.

Danielle, how are you doing?

We just have to be super frugal and save money because its usually tight to begin with. And all we need is 2 low paychecks, but then I feel like I'm cheating the system

Just wanted to say I saw Carlito's_wife on another thread and she got a BFP too.

AFM- I had another ultrasound today and the baby was moving around. There are pics on my page through my siggy chart. I think my dd weaned herself. She hasn't touched me in 2 days and isn't even trying to nurse at night. I haven't slept through the night in sooo long. Well I will keep checking in now and again to see how everyone is doing and I am sending lots of baby dust to you ladies.

Mom to Mike, Wyatt, Zach, Sean, Kailey and Liam. My family is complete.
