kparker. I hope you are able to take it easy this weekend.

witchypants-Sorry about having to move. I love the newness of being somewhere different but I absolutely HATE the actual physical part of moving (i.e. packing, unpacking, etc.). Are they at least giving you a good amount of time to find a new place.

I forgot to ask if anyone has any information on HSGs. My OB was able to get one approved through my insurance but I'll a little nervous about screwing things up if there's nothing wrong. I'm heard of it messing with cycles and I don't want to waste even one cycle. Anything? Good, bad, ugly?

witchypants You have been changed. Sorry to hear that it is back to waiting to O. We are moving in 6 weeks, I am not looking forward to it! Yuck, yuck and triple yuck! I am so tired of moving. But DH swears this is the last move, (unless we decide to move to Europe) for at least 5 years. Lol, yeah right, who are we kidding. We really should just get a VW van or a tumbleweed house so at least we wouldn't have to pack everything up.

That would be great to O on the 14th. I'm not, now that I learnt that I'm not supposed to include my first 3 cycles after pregnancy, Ovusoft and FF match their days that I'm supposed to O. Both say it should happen on the 17th. But we are BD every day now, as I have fertile cm.

So I was reading a while ago that green tea is supposed to be good for fertility. Does anyone know exactly what it does? I have fallen in love with green tea latte's!

The contractions continued unless I was not moving until it was safe at 37 weeks. DD2 came exactly at 37 weeks because I got out of bed at 36weeks 6 days. Anyways I'm a little paranoid about red rasberry leaf tea. I think it's great, and I've heard mostly miracle stories about it and how quickly women who drink it give birth. But I'm worried that I will have a miscarriage if I drink it past O. So is that why you are stopping drinking at when you O too? Or is there another reason that I don't know about in regards with drinking or not drinking RRL tea?

I always heard it can cause uterine contractions and that might mean early miscarriage. That is why I drink it pre O because it is a uterine strengthener.

found this....
Quote:
In a study conducted at Kaiser Permanente Medical Care Program of Northern California in Oakland, researchers found that women who drank more than one half cup of caffeinated green tea every day doubled their odds of conceiving. No significant association was found for other caffeinated beverages; therefore researchers concluded that a chemical component of tea other than caffeine might have been responsible for the increase in fertility.

and this...
Quote:
Some research suggests that two of the main ingredients in green tea, hypoxanthine and polyphenols, may lead to a higher percentage of viable embryos. Other research has suggested that these compounds help increase the maturing of eggs, and may even make the eggs more fertile. In addition, polyphenols serve as antioxidants, which help protect your body from various diseases and other conditions. Drinking green tea may even help not only with female fertility, but with male fertility problems as well. Some green tea advocates suggest that green tea may help with low sperm count, and even with sperm motility.

and this... maybe not?

so... who knows? DH and I both drink green tea... guess time will tell? :

first_shot_photo Sure just makes us wait on pins and needles another day JK I think that is very wise of you actually. How are things today?

musicoholic Thanks for all the research about green tea. I am convinced enough to make myself a pot of green tea and since I could be Oing any day now, the RRL is going back on to the shelf until *hopefully* 8 months from now.

AFM - my temp is starting to go up today, not above what Ovusoft says my baseline is, but perhaps it's a sign of something good to come? I am having tons of fertile CM this month unlike last month. So I'm quite happy! And DH is all into BD. YEAH!

Pretty good actually. I'm having some mild pulling cramping, and HUGE blue veins on my boobs X_X although they aren't sore. My CM is lotion like... Has anyone else had CM like that in early pregnancy?

I had the pulling sensation and extra creamy CM early in my first pregnancy!!! Like 9-10 dpo early! Good luck!!!!

Thanks! I tested this after noon, but it was negative. My pee was nearly clear, so I didn't put much faith in the accuracy of that one. I'm going to test tomorrow morning before work, first thing. I pray that I get to go to work knowing I've got a bun in my oven~~~

I have mild pain in my lower back also, and no spotting at all. I keep waiting for AF, but there is NO sign of her yet!

Well, Valentines Day was 11 days PO and I caved and tested and got a BFI . . . that would be Big, Fat, Inconclusive!!

My dr. had given me some expired-in-mid-2008 TTC freebies, including OPKs and a HPT. So today I pulled out the pregnancy test just for the heck of it and did it. It didn't have exactly a line per se, but a faint shadow of something that looked like it wanted to be a line when it grew up! Of course, there are no actual directions included with the stupid thing, so I'm just assuming that you're supposed to pee on it for about 5 seconds and then wait about 3 minutes. I didn't take this very seriously since it was expired and I didn't have directions for it anyway. But I did call DH (who conveniently happened to be at the drugstore) and asked him to pick up some tests.

He came back with some clearblue easy tests, a package of 3.

I was showering when he got home, and I then hopped out of the shower and tried to pee on one. Unbelievably, I could NOT produce enough pee to do the test!!!! Normally I have to pee all the time--the one time I need to pee, I don't have any!!! The part that you pee on is supposed to turn pink if there is enough urine on it--there were a couple of pink spots but not really enough to start spreading up into the test area, and I couldn't even tell if it was from pee or because I was just damp from the shower. I decided that I'd screwed the test up and but would save it anyway just to fulfill my obsessive need to pee on things!

So we went out for dinner for Valentine's day. Later we got home and I had to pee, so just because I got that same test out and used it. I was so shocked to get a shadowy faint blue line!! But I figure that the test doesn't really count, because I contaminated the stupid thing. So I get out another one, dip it in the same pee, and wait--and I don't see a line. ????? DH and I spend about 30 minutes scrutinizing and discussing this situation. DH eventually decides he can see somewhat of an insanely faint line on that one too but that I wouldn't be able to see it because it requires a trained eye. (which he has due to his line of work.) I tell him that a home pregnancy test should not require a specialist to interpret. And that besides, it's beyond the time frame for interpreting the test. We decide to do a dollar store test. (Which I don't really exactly trust--I know they say they are sensitive to 25 mcg but I got a negative on a dollar store test on the same day/same time as I got 3 positives on internet test strips at 16 days PO when I was pregnant with my daughter--so I no longer trust them for early detection. Although, they do cheaply fulfill the need to pee on things. Lol!) We both agree that the dollar store test is definitely negative and does not have a line.

Soooooo . . . . I have no idea!!! It seems hopeful, but certainly not definite. I guess I'll have to test again in the morning, hopefully with FMU if I remember! :

We once had a disappointing month with an expired test. I got a false positive and wasted a lot of money on other tests to confirm this. I hope that's not what happened here, but I just wanted to let you know it can happen.

lotion-like CM and pulling sensations were both pg symptoms for me. Good luck! Any news today? I think you were wise to wait and not try for an answer on Valentine's Day.

OMG I'm so excited! I just took a test, and I thought it was negative at first, but if I REALLY REALLY look hard, I can see a evap line! I tired to photograph it, but I couldnt. I can only see it if I play with it under the lighting a bit. Has anyone else had this happen?!

I had 2 dreams last night about getting BFP...and I think they are comming true!

I will test again in 2 days!!!!! If I can wait that long!!!
