This is the most PG I have ever been without being in labour at least. 39w4d. DS was 2 days old by now and I was in the middle of my 47.5 hour labour with DD.

Just as well though. I have to go to a wake tonight and a funeral tomorrow. My next door neighbour's 23 year old son, her only child, died in a car accident Sunday night. She was away camping and didn't find out and fly home until yesterday.
DH has known him since he was a ittle boy, he just moved out last year. We bought this house from my ILs 6 years ago, it is the house DH grew up in.

My kids are pretty rattled. This is the second time this year I have had to tell them about a young person they know dying. Their 3 year old cousin died of cancer in October.
My DS, of all people, is very worried about Cathy. He keeps asking me if she is sad, then saying he is sad for her and climbing on my lap. DD hasn't said much but has reverted to sucking her thumb.
Cathy is a retired pediatric nurse and loves kids. She and my kids have daily chats over the fence. I often tease her that she must feel like a rockstar when she comes out to garden or hang up her laundry, my kids are so happy to see her.

Anyway, it's just such a tragedy.
Wow, that is absolutely awful to hear... to your neighbor, your family and to your community.

Oh Alannah, your family has been thru so much in the last year. My thoughts are with you all, including your neighbor. I can't imagine losing a child at any age.

Veganmama I am so sorry, will be thinking about you all.
I can't really even fathom the heartbreak that mama must be feeling, only the tiniest glimpse of what it must be like.

Yeah Oceane-- looks like you did ovulate!

Veganmama-- how are you?

AFM: about to ovulate, but skipping this month. Need to go to the herb store to get more raspberry leaf, have been out for a while.

Friday Check-In

Cycle Day: 25
DPO: 9, ish
Test date: I tested today, BFN. Although...like almost always I think I saw a little line, but it vanished. You can stare at my snow white test here. You can also vote if you think it is + or -
How do you feel: Sick. Really nauseated. Crampy.
Weekend plans: We are going to the lantern festival tonight! It should be a lot of fun. We got our puppy a new harness type thing and she now walks like a dream, so I'm more willing to take her out alone. She is pretty strong, and was annoying me before. Yeah for well behaved puppy! Nothing really today, just trying not to be ill/trying not to obsess.

Good luck Hesperia!

Spent some time with my neighbour today. We talked a lot about her son.

40w today. No sign of baby coming.

Went for a run yesterday thinking that might move things along. Nope. I do feel a little bit like a rockstar for running the day before my EDD though.

Grumpy.

I totally think I'm PMSing. Darn it. Obviously not calling it quits till the AF sings, but no longer going to allow myself to get too excited. Bummer.

I hear ya.... 15 DPO over here... still no spotting (and I always start spotting by 13DPO at the latest...) my temps went up .2 degrees this morning... and I got a BFN on a FRER. I'm about ready to start giving my uterus a pep talk

Hesperia, PMS and early PG symptoms are almost identical so I wouldn't worry about that. It' s not over until AF shows!
Jelinifer, 15 DPO sounds good!

Hi oceane and SnowPea and everyone else.

Me 40w2d. Never been past dates before. And of course, we know that my dates are not off, LOL, it's not like I don't know when I ovulated (Hallowe'en by the way isn't that cool?)

Nah, I got a BFN on a FRER this morning.... those suckers are supposed to be the most sensitive so I'm not really holding false hope. Not a big deal.... we didn't try so hard with the TTC this month knowing that it would be a big waste considering DH's new diagnosis. We're justing taking things easy until we get the referral to the RE

Your lil bean: He's just taking his sweet time... hopefully the attitude will translate over to an easy and mellow baby!

Annnd cue the spotting. I really am turning into the chick that cried AF

I think this will be our last cycle on Clomid (hopefully!) DH and I decided that we're once again not really going to TTC this month- only half-heartedly do it for the sake of insurance proof. I really want to use this month's break as an opportunity to exercise again and lose the 25 Lbs. "Clomid pounds" I've packed on over the past six months before we start talking IUI and IVF.

....and I really want to get another tattoo this month

I'll be done with maintaining the Infertility One Thread at the end of the month and then I'll join back up with you ladies! Hope everyone's having a good day...
