stealthmode: I'm so sorry to hear about what your family is going through right now. It sounds like you all could use some good news to keep spirits high. I'll keep you in my thoughts and hope you get a BFP soon. :

monday check in:
Name: Angela
Date: Apr 20
Where are you at in your cycle: CD 26
Appointments: None.
Symptoms if they apply: Headaches… ever since I cut caffeine from my diet, I don’t have a problem with headaches… I had these when I was pregnant with Caleb.
I’ve gained, like 3 lbs. I’m tired. And I’ve been peeing 4-5 times a day for about a week.
Testing: I’m really tempted to POAS even though the test is not supposed to be taken until the day of a missed period. TWO MORE days.
Thoughts: I’m hoping this is our month. Our due date would be December 31, perfect because husband starts Grad @ Harvard this year and the baby would come during winter break- no need to take off school!

Has anyone POAS early (a day of missed period test), and still got a BFP?
SO. TEMPTED.

Where are you at in your cycle: CD15, I've either ovulated yesterday or am ovulating today
Appointments: OB appointment on Wednesday for a check up (oh, and a dentists appointment)
Symptoms if they apply: Soooo much EWCM, a little bloating
Testing: I can't stop peeing on OPKs! I don't even mind wasting them until I get to POAS, I just like to test stuff
Thoughts: I feel SOOOO good about this month because I can tell I actually ovulated, I had EWCM and I got a positive OPK, all of those things point to BFP! I actually have a plan to test on April 30th, DH's birthday, for good luck, even thought that seems pretty early right now. We also just bought a house and we're closing on May 7th, if I have my BFP by then, we're planning on having our parents come for the closing and tell them then. Oh I hope this is my month!!!!!!! :::

Maeryn, hm, wonder what's going on...
ORLY, if you are dying to test early, you really should use FMU. Good luck.

AFM, I also have cramps, and couldn't be more happy if I get AF. Seriously can.not.wait! I know you all would understand.

Thanks, I appreciate that a lot. I need to try and be more positive about things because I know that negativity and stress won't help at all, but sometimes it is too hard not to think about it.

Where are you at in your cycle: CD 12

Appointments: May 6 to follow up on my ultrasound

Symptoms if they apply: EWCM...early...hmmm

Testing: OPKs...negative thus far

Thoughts: DH is sick with the stomach flu (hopefully recovering at this point), and I'm really hoping I don't get it, or it will interfere with BDing this cycle. Not to mention that would just suck.

Okay, this is going to sound really weird...but does anyone else love the feeling of being fertile? I feel different...more attractive...more outgoing...and I even love the feeling I have "down there" during this time. See, told ya I was weird!

I'm fake fertile all the time it seems, so its hard to get in the mood after 3 weeks of on and off clear cm. I think I remember that feeling though, lol. How did the ultrasound go, did they tell you anything then or do you have to wait for the follow up appt?

Where are you at in your cycle: CD37 / 8DPO
Appointments: none
Symptoms if they apply: eh
Testing: eh
Thoughts: This 2ww is flying by, which is nice. FF says I ovulated on Easter, but I think it was actually the next day (which would give us better timing anyway ). Either way I should know something this weekend. I guess...I might...maybe...test on Monday if AF has not arrived by then.

Good luck girls, we really need some bfp's around here! I mean seriously, none? 3 weeks into the month, none? Grapes, I think you're on deck!

Date: 4/20/09
Where are you at in your cycle: CD 4
Appointments: OBGYN today, Dentist Tuesday, Acupuncture Wednesday
Symptoms if they apply: n/a
Testing: n/a
Thoughts: So my doctor thinks my luteal phase is too short and put me on Prometrium the past two cycles. The side effects were too much for me and I was still having spotting, so I went in today. Pretty much my options are increase the Prometrium, go on Clomid, or see a fertility specialist. I'm a bit confused since I've only been TTC for 3 cycles and got pregnant the first cycle without even trying. I really don't like any of the options so I called a clinic that does acupuncture in my neighborhood and made an appointment for Wednesday. I just feel confused!

Miscarriage at 6 weeks on 1/11/09, DS born on 6/22/10, DS born on 5/31/12, and new baby due 4/2/14

Where are you at in your cycle: I lost count...but I should be getting my period this week sometime. I used to get it on Tuesdays during a 28 day cycle, but this month I ovulated a few days late...so maybe I will be late with my period as well...that stinks for waiting for a BFP!
Appointments:
Symptoms if tey apply: None really...some nipple tenderness nursing, one morning I felt really nauseous...but I am probably imagining things
Testing: Not until next week
Thoughts: I didn't think I would be this excited/curious during the 2ww because this is our first month trying...but I am! We'll see what this week brings

Good luck everyone!

Where are you at in your cycle: CD6
Appointments: I have opted not to do an HSG this cycle.
Symptoms if they apply: Still getting over a yeast infection coupled with my period. Joys of womanhood.
Testing: I have some new OPKs and I am going to test on them starting CD 18
Thoughts: I drank way too much this weekend. Also, I sorta feel like it's never going to happen for me... With our huge move coming up, his possible deployment, blah blah blah... coupled with the fact that I hear someone else is pregnant everyday makes it feel like its NEVER going to be us.

Where are you at in your cycle: CD 11

Appointments: Thurs appt with breast surgeon who is probably going to tell me I need surgery for a fibroadenoma and that I can't get pregnant for a few more months, and I will probably tell her to leave me and my boobies alone!

Symptoms if they apply: low temps, a little watery

Testing: nope, but I ordered some OPK strips from Amazon, and hope to have them for next cycle so we can seriously hit this baby making thing!

Thoughts: So, I am totally going back and forth on TTC this cycle - on the one hand, I CAN'T WAIT to TTC, but on the other hand, for a myriad of reasons, waiting just one more cycle is optimal for our family. But..... after the razz-apple martini DH made me last night, we got busy upstairs (leaving DD to watch Sid the Science kid with a handful of goldfish!) without any protection. I'm guessing I am still 5-6 days out from O'ing, but one never knows.... So, we'll see if this is the month. But, DH is going to be wearing a hat for the next week, so that was a one shot deal. Unless of course, he makes me another razz-apple martini.....

Yep you are TOTALLY weird. And the rest of us obsessively charting, POAS addicts are the normal ones I'm definitely, um, more attentive to DH at this time in the cycle. DH is even more pronounced - if I even hint at being fertile, its like I just dropped off all my clothes and gave him a "come hither" look!

Loving being a stay at home mamma to DD 10/07, and newly arrived DS 7/26/10

hehehe dbf is the same... the couple times I told him I was fertile during our time together he couldn't keep his hands off me. The other times... well, sorta the same but he could give up sex for cuddling if I wanted, during the fertile times though thats like asking a man in the desert if he'd prefer some saltine crackers over a glass of water.

I know that I'm catching this thread late, but just wanting to see if I could do some posting here since I'm 22 and TTC #1. I'm in the infertility board since I'm going through treatments, but I guess I need to chat a little bit with others around my age who might have a better perspective of what it's like TTC in your twenties along with infertility. Especially now if I get a bfn this week because I won't be able to afford anymore treatments for awhile and will be going it alone.

Another symptom I can add to my list is INSANITY.
So, I caved in and tested a day early (AF is suppose to show tomorrow, and it’s a day-of-missed-period-test). With my FMU, I saw a faint line…. if I squinted… which after the first three courtesy minutes, of course, got darker. So, I’m not too sure how reliable it is.
So what do I do?! I take a walk with Caleb to CVS, about ten minutes away. Not too bad at all. I pick up a 5 day early detection test and teething tablets for Caleb and guess what?...

I forgot my wallet.

So, we walk back home. And, I swear, I am gasping for breath 2/3 of the way home. And I’ve decided to not go back to the store. :
Now, I walk everywhere, and I’m in descent shape. We walk tri-weekly to the library, park or the pond- and are all at least 20 minutes away—but walking to CVS almost buries me?
I think my body is conspiring against me.
