Pitchfork, I'm glad "just having your period" is feeling good now. It is so nice when our minds and hearts are in the same place.

Waturmama, thanks for the tips re Nelson's. I will go to my local co-op and see if I can find it.
So funny, everyone keeps commenting on how good I look, how they can't beleive I'm 42 (like that is ancient) etc etc. Which is nice but all I can think is "yeah, but I have a hemmoroid the size of Mount Olympus". Which means I can't run. Or DTD, since there is pretty much only one possible position left at this point!

Sorry if that's TMI!

My baby sister found out she is PG this morning! So exciting her, LO will be 7 months younger than Declan. She has a 20 month old biy too so I hope all 3 of them will be close.

Whoa! We're on page 2. I wish I had a BUMP in my tummy...

Acually for some reason I keep picturing myself carrying a little baby in an Ergo carrier. I'm 8dpo, and look forward to this cycle getting done so we can get on to the next one and ttc. (Note to self: the present is now, this is the best place to be.) I'm feeling much better (post-early m/c and starting TCM with a practicioner who specializes in fertility).

You aren't supposed to take stool softeners when you're pg, although I've heard taking a bit of extra magnesium is ok (not to the point of diarrhea, just enough to keep things moving, so to speak) for constipation.
VM, here is a thread on MDC about hemorrhoids: http://www.mothering.com/discussions...ght=hemorroids
Anyway, I hope everyone is well. We went camping this weekend but came home early due to sleep deprivation and mosquitos. I don't know how my mom used to take us on long trips camping out every night for a couple of weeks. Of course, that was farther south where the nights are a bit longer but still, wow, I am so sore and tired from sleeping on an air mattress just one night.

Anyone have a good paper chart they like? We're going to be traveling and probably computer-less from cd13 to cd27...I'm taking OPKs with us, but I'd like to keep track of my temps and other symptoms, too. I know I can just scratch them down and input them into FF when we get back, but finding time & space for BD is going to be tricky, and I'd like to know if I can stop worrying about missing the egg!

There are charts you can copy in the back of Taking Charge of Your Fertility (Toni Weschler).

Karen'68 You might try this site http://www.fertilityplus.org/faq/bbt/bbtdownload.html
it has a couple of GIF format charts that should be easy to print out. Have fun on your travels!

Pookie I thought I remembered I was allowed stool softeners (colace, senekot) but laxatives were a no no. It's been a while though so things might have changed. You are brave going camping pregnant after what happened to that poor pregnant lady who got chased by a bear and hit by a car. She was ok after all that thank goodness but the bear didn't fare as well.

Waturmama Glad you are feeling better!

My fertility monitor, temps and cervical mucus don't agree about what day I ovulated this month... if there is no AF by July 10 I'll be POAS. If I were to get preg this cycle LO would be born around my birthday. Can't think of a more awesome gift. I'll be happy to get preg at any time but I sure liked the timing of my last one. I got to be off for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years - normally have had to work at least one day of each major holiday for the past 20 years and it sucks :

Sending positive vibes out to everybody!

Pookietooth, thanks for the link!

Lisa, I have my fingers crossed for you!

The heat is breaking a little bit here which is good. Not so great for my kids, it is their first week off school and it is supposed to rain everyday, including Canada Day on Wednesday (and since we are in Ottawa, Canada day is a big deal!). But great for a 36wplus week pregnant mama! Even today it is only supposed to be going to 26C and I am still hot!

I think I have told 16 people in the last week to read The Infertility Cure,

It kind of bugs me that everyone goes on about how great I look for being 42 and pregnant. Hello, I am not 106! This is what 42 and pregnant looks like! I know they mean it a a compliment but really 42 is not old!

hello everyone! can you add my edd to the front page? Aug 11th

I see my fellow expecting mamma and fellow Candian (same province to boot) is 36 weeks...sooo close

I am 34 weeks now and am loking forward to meeting our little girl...although totally nervous about girl parts...lol

I am curious to see when baby does come...according to my chrting she is not due until the 18th....no one seemed to care about my charting...they all went by u/s

Only you ladies understand how serious charting is to us!!!! too have the doctor and midwife blow it off was seriously insulting...I think most us feel very knowledgable and competent when it comes to ttc issues...they could at least take it into consideration...

got to feed my men....

good luck ladies

...and seriously!

saoirse2007, I get seriously annoyed when people don't respect my charting. Sometimes I put it back at them, like, "you understand how this all works, right?" (in a not-too-sarcastic way, I hope). Yay to 34 weeks! Thanks for stopping by.

saorise, my midwife went by my charting with DS (I had ovulated late on CD 19 since I was still BFing). Which is good because otherwise I would have been "overdue" when I was in fact 5 days "early". The u/s date is what my GP went by but he was just a big baby and measured ahead. I know for sure what day I conceived because we had only been TTC for 3 days, there is no way he could have been conceived on the date the u/s and LMP said!

Where the heck is everyone? Our group is very quiet lately. Is it the crappy, wet, gray, cold weather? I know it's affecting my energy levels and my social life. Will the sun ever shine again?

Saoirse, congrats! Why didn't you tell us earlier?

AFM, I'm 7DPO according to my chart (when I throw out one very high pre-O temp). Boobs are very sore, round and firm. I'm exhausted. But...I doubt I'm pg, and instead am probably just having more progesterone this cycle than usual, and the weather, plus not going to bed early, are the reasons why I'm so darned tired. Thank goodness tomorrow is "Friday" for me, so I've got a 3 day holiday weekend. Except, of course, it's supposed to be gray and rainy the whole weekend. The sun must be on holiday on another continent!

Wow, another BFP! Congrats Zona!

MsGBs, they keep telling us it is going to pour rain here everyday and then it doesn't. Which is nice but I keep planning activities for my kids and nanny to do (like go to the Museum of Civilization or go to a movie etc) that cost money and then it doesn't rain!

It was Canada Day yesterday so I was home and didn't get a chance to post. Got most of my cloth dipaers down from the attic and washed and put on the shelves, plus got a run in and did lots of laundry and make supper in the crock pot. So, productive but very busy.

Ah, AF is here. So true that the symptoms of AF and BFP's mirror each other. Perhaps my blue mood will dissipate with the arrival of lil Auntie. Nice to know that there are some upsides!
