I started having period like cramps on day 19 of my cycle (2 dpo) and have each day since (that first evening was worst though, had to use a heating pad on my lower back for 3 hours and took 3 tylenol for the pain) mostly mild cramps, today at day 24 of my cycle (7 dpo) feeling bloated. Yesterday and esp. today noticed my bbs feeling heavy and tingling. Feel like I have a fever, but it's normal (98.7) the past few days as well.

I went to my OB on Wed 6/10 and she did a vaginal exam and she said everything looked and felt normal, but I have a sonogram tomorrow just to be sure I'm ok. Don't want to have an ovary cyst or the beginnings of PCOS or something like that!!! Afterall, this happened to me in February also during that cycle. But, after reading online, I'm thinking that I might just be one of those women who's lucky enough to be blessed with mittelschmerz (german for "middle pain" where you have very painful ovulation, which is usually only once every 3rd or 4th cycle, not every month) and it's probably not going to be anything serious. I will find out tomorrow I guess!

Anyway...... I'm just wondering if there are any of you out there that have experienced this. It's not just normal ovulatory twingy pains in the side that is ovulating for a brief period of time and then it stops, this is more severe cramping (alot like bad period cramps in the lower back and in front abdomen as well some of the time...and can be on one side more than the other) for DAYS, not just an hour or so like with normal ovulating cramps.

I hope to find out from your experiences that I'm not alone in this annoying predicament I've found myself in this cycle. Shout it out ladies....

Yep. I have cramps almost the entire time from 2 dpo to start of AF (at what would be 13 dpo). I've had my progesterone tested, that was fine. I'm going to go in for a pap in August and ask that they begin doing a bit more invasive testing MAYBE. I had this cramping before I had my last baby and conceived him fairly easily, so I'm not THAT worried but it's still annoying.

I took an early test ( you ladies are a bad influence) and it was clearly negative,so I'm assuming it's just another stinkin' old cycle. bleh. thanks for listening.
