When announcing a BFP please use : in your post. I don't mind if it's used in other posts but that way I don't overlook anyones pregnancy.

Also for the sanity of the rest of us, tell us how many dpo your first BFP was and link us a pic if you can, as well as posting your story here: http://www.mothering.com/discussions...d.php?t=962404

If, for whatever reason, you need removed from our BFP list just send me a private message saying "remove me" and I will, no questions asked.

For those who are less than camera-savy:
HOW TO GET A CLEAR PHOTO OF YOUR BFP OR QUESTIONABLE TEST WITH MOST DIGITAL CAMERAS

First, look for the macro setting on your cameras dial wheel. This is almost always signaled by this image: http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/e...Macro_icon.jpg or a very similar version of a tiny flower.
Secondly, you need GOOD lighting. Direct sunlight (even when its cloudy, the light outside is considered direct sunlight) is usually best, so a windowsill is a great place to set it, however if its night time or so cloudy out that it is lighter in your house than outside find a light that is WHITE and not YELLOW. usually incandescent lighting is bad, but the newer florescents are good.
Third, focus! Most digital cameras require you to do a half push (light push) to correctly focus before holding down the button to take the picture. During this pre-focus you should be able to tell if the picture will be clear by the viewfinder or image screen. If it is not in focus, simply let go of the button and press lightly again until you can get it in focus.
FOURTH: hold still! When you take the photo you can make it blurry by shaking (excitedly! right?) so steady yourself by holding your arms or wrists against the windowsill or table or whatever surface you are taking the photo on.

This should guarantee an EASY TO SEE BFP!!!

If for whatever reason you need your BFP digitally altered to tell if it is a BFP or not, feel free to contact me (MaerynPearl) through pm with a link to the image, as I do photo editing in my spare time as a beloved hobby (along with my photography)

Hey all-- it turns out that I od a couple days earlier then I and FF thought I did orginally, so I actually had a BFN at 12 dpo and a BFP at 14 dpo I thought that might help you all out feel better when you get the BFN at 12dpo. DON'T Lose hope!!! I went to the doctor to date the pregnancy and my hunch was correct I od On CD 30 and not CD 33 like I had thought. I figured this out bc I went to an ultrasound on thursday and saw the baby's heartbeat!!!!

I'm either on 11DPO or 7 DPO... Not sure which b/c I have two temp spikes and I *felt* like I O'd on CD 23, and FF *thinks* I O'd on day 23, but the real sustained temp raise didn't come till day 28, which would mean I might have O'd on CD 27 instead of 23. I'm hoping for the CD 23 though 'cause we didn't have a chance to try on CD 26 or 27, and CD 25 was a dry day. (though I only do external checking so maybe it wasn't dry up by my cervix...)

But anyhow, I ramble. My temps actually look good and hopeful this cycle, though!
I Got a BFN today and yesterday. Maybe I'll get a BFP tomorrow! But If I don't get one tomorrow, DH tells me I should wait till next Wed to test again... Big tease!

Here's my chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/254ac6

Thanks for the thread, Mae!

Lauren, that is wonderful news!!! How amazing was it, to see the heartbeat???

: for you, saimeiyu! I'm 11dpo too, today, but not feeling hopeful because I have NO real symptoms. I had some "phantom" ones prior to today, but I think it was just wishful thinking.

Maeryn You could put this bfp pic of mine next to my name at the success stories at the top, please. I was just looking over the thread and realized the pic didn't get posted next to my name! This was 14 DPO- got about he same shade at 15 DPO and then stopped POAS for now.
Here is the link to add. Thanks.

http://i725.photobucket.com/albums/w...14DPopm001.jpg
I got my faint bfp at 11 DPO and a clearer one at 12. Or did you want a picture of the first bfp? Either way!

What ever happened to you, BTW, this cycle?

Hello everyone...
I'm not sure whats going on with me anymore. On cd 27 I started spotting, so I figured AF would be here today. I bought some tampons and am still just barely spotting. Urgh. Then today after an "Amy's" Thai dinner, I got really sick and threw up but then felt better a little while later. I'm okay now.

Took an internet cheapie and bfn.

So I'm not sure if I am cd 1 or cd28 at this point. (ykwim?)

So now I'm just waiting to see what the future holds. I was so sick earlier I canceled my plans for the evening, I thought I had a virus or something. Now I am feeling bored and tired and curious. LOL

Anyway. Just wanted to check in.

Sorry Katie... I'd put it in originally but apparently forgot to save the edit and didn't notice til I was making the new thread today but didn't have the time then to go back and find the link or the dpo... thank you for giving me them you saved me the work!

As for me

who the heck knows? I sure don't

I'm not pregnant... but until af shows I will have no clue when I actually ovulated.

Hello Ladies.

Well today is 6 dpo. This was a weird chart month. I wonder if I had a chemical last month that made this one a bit wonky. I'm not sure when I will test as I hate seeing the BFN. My nipples are getting a bit tender, but I ocasionallly get that after O.

Baby dust to all!

Okay, so I'm trying to be a no stressor. But I am so darn excited that I just can't help it. So, according to FF, I'm 8 DPO. I think I'm actually 7 DPO. Just wasted a pregnancy test. It was a hand-me-down from a friend. When it came up with an error (darn!), I noticed the expiration date was 11/2008.

So, I'm going to throw all in and head to the dollar store and get a bunch of tests.

Hi, my name is Geigerin, and I am a POAS addict.

So, I've got a 102.9 degree fever today. Even if I do get a BFP, I don't think it will stick. I may or may not test later today. Do I want to know just to lose it or do I want to just pretend we missed it?

From what I read, a fever (under 104) will not affect implantation.

Also, if you are not allergic yourself, taking a tylenol will help lower the fever and not have any effect on possible baby-to-be if you're really worried about it.

today the line was lighter than yesterday...yesterday I took a test and let it sit out all day to see what an evap looked like. After 12 hours its the one that says "E". Today my test looks like the Evap test except that was after 3 minutes. But it's MUCH lighter than yesterday. Is that a bad sign?

My $ tree test never got any darker then yours is in that pic. I got my BFP at 12 DPO and on 13 DPO and 14 DPO, they looked like that too I dont think that it is a bad sign at all! That is just how those tests are!
