I think I *may* have gotten a positive OPK! On CD11 no less! We shall see if it actually pans out to be O or not though... but yay!

I think my body is tricking me. For several days now I've been super tired and nauseaus, last night we stayed at my parents house and they had a party, well I couldn't even make it past 9:30 and the guests (like 10 of them) stayed until nearly 1am. Everything is making me sick, and I just totally think AF is coming.............belch................

I have a quick question - I take GSE for toenail fungus. Will it have a negative impact on TTC? And should I get preggers, should I stop?

Just finished with AF- can't wait to start DTD!! I have never temped or used the OPKs and was wondering when would be a good time to start?

I'd suggest hopping on over to fertilityfriend.com and looking at the resources they have there. You can start temp'ing tomorrow morning, I'm not so sure on OPKs (I don't use them). Good luck!!

Mama to DS (12/11/07) and partner to DH (08/08). Expecting #2 late November 2011!

Hello mamas,

I am joining back in after waiting out two cycles after our last two miscarriages. I now have my head around it and am emotionally in a much better spot. All our tests came back negative and our Dr put it down to bad luck but we have the green light to try again.

I'm about to ovulate any day now and I'm really nervous but hoping this time luck will be on our side.

Sending everyone lots of baby dust for July!

.

Welcome back Grahnola Mum
Totally understand how you feel nervous, fingers crossed everything works out for you
Tenk how many dpo are you - when are you due to test?

AFM CD19 - 8th high in a row on CBFM, but its way too early for me to be O'ing according to last few cycles so not getting excited yet - going to rely more on EWCM as it was easy to read with O on last cycles

Runner, I think I'm 9dpo today but I could be 10, think it's 9 though because I think I O'd on early morning July 4th (while we were at the beach) but I got AF at 9dpo last time on June 1st. Today is day 43 of my cycle. I did test, daily actually, I'm addicted, it was stark white, I couldn't even imagine a line on that darn test. I'll be very VERY happy if AF at least stays away til Wednesday, i have an important client meeting tomorrow that's 1.5 hours away, and if AF is anything like last time I won't be able to leave home, and like I said the meeting is UBBER important!!!

Thanks for asking mama!!

Granola, welcome back mama, I'm so glad you're in a good place now and good luck with BD'ing for the next few days!!!

off to work..........

Tenk - with DD, I tested snow white negative at 9dpo, BFP the night of 10dpo - I'd say you are still in the running for sure! Hope AF stays far far away!

Runner - I'm in the same boat - positive OPK yesterday, negative this morning, but no other signs of O... I am pretty sure I am not Oing yet.

Mizyellow - welcome!

Grahnola Mum - *fingers and toes crossed*!!!

aims1029 - sorry about AF...if it makes you feel any better, my first PPAF cycle was 85 days long (in between 1st PPAF and 2nd) but is now down to once a monthish within a couple of cycles. Hope the same is true for you!

AAM - so after getting all excited about seeing the positive or almost positive OPK yesterday, DH and I tried to DTD and, well, while making me very happy, he didn't finish which was kind of the whole point! Tried to get him last night but he had taken some pain meds for his back and by that point I was firm and closed and dryish so *shrugs*. We did DTD the night before, so I'm not too concerned. That being said, I don't think I'm really Oing, as I have no normal O signs, but it could be all wonky from the m/c. We shall see.

hi! can i join too? dd is almost 16 months (born march 08) and we have been unofficially ttc since getting the iud out 4 and a half months ago. af arrived yesterday, so i guess i am waiting to o. (i cant bold anything since i am using my phone to write this.) i think this month we are going to be more proactive with actually timing everything, although we are going on vacation right around o time, so i doubt this cycle will be it. dd just went from nursing every 3-4 hours even at night, to nursing every 5-6 hours, so i am hoping that will help me o. (cycles came back at 9 months pp but i have a suspicion i am not even ovulating.) i started taking vitex last month and may add maca for an extra boost. this is so frustrating because ive never had to"try" before and all of my other pregnancies have been "happy surprises". my 16 month old is a pill baby =). so hopefully i wont be here long, but i need the support in the mean time.. oh, i wanted to add- this is the first month that af arrived on cd27, which hasnt happened since before i got pregnant 2 years ago (off b.c. and they were around 30-33 days). so hopefully that means something too..

Sorry . I've had six PP cycles, and the first two were 48 and 60 days, respectively. I'm now having very regular 28-30 day cycles, so IMO, our bodies need to "ramp up" to having normal cycles after having a baby and often aren't working efficiently right away because of hormonal fluctuations. Here's to hoping for regular, ovulatory cycles for you in the near future!

SoCali & Tenk: I'm in the same boat... fingers crossed that AF stays away!

AFM: 11 dpo, think AF is on the way, tested yesterday with a FRER - BFN. My temp has dropped somewhat (98.2 today vs. 98.5 yesterday), but not below the coverline, which is 97.7. If no BFP this time, then I will just be happy if my LP gets to 12 or 13 days. AF is due today according to my previous cycles. My breasts are more tender and sore than on previous days, and I've had my quirky pregnancy symptom - shortness of breath - on and off for the past five days. It's hard to be patient, but time will tell one way or the other!

LOL! I thought I was the only one! The first time it happened (with DS #3), I was hiking with DH in Sedona, AZ and thought it was altitude sickness because I felt nauseous as well. When I realized 10 days later that my period was five days late, and came up with a BFP about 2 seconds after I POAS'd, then I figured it out .

Alright guys... trying not to get too excited... I POAS with an IC about 10 minutes ago, and think I see a very faint second line. I've been trying to take pictures of the darned test, but my camera is making everything very blurry up close. I will do my best to get a clear picture, then will post in a seperate thread. Fingers crossed!

What I do to get a clear photo is to put the test on a piece of white paper, hold it about arms length or so away from the camera and then zoom in as much as I can to where it still looks clear on the camera - it won't be much. Then crop the photo and zoom it! Hth - can't wait to see pics!!! I'll b e checking from my phone at work :-D

Hi Amandaamanda - I can't believe your lo is 16 months already! It's amazing how babies can be due so close together and born so far apart. Welcome!

Tenk - I'm so rootin' for ya. This really sounds like it. I hope it is.

:And fingers crossed for everyone else!

Welcome back, Grahnola Mum s

MizYellow - When you want to start OPK's depends on your cycle length. Marquette University, as sort of a catch-all, recommends starting on CD6 your first cycle, but that may be way too early for you (would be for me).

AFM, I'm at CD9 after the m/c and I'm crampy with lots of EWCM. I don't think I've ever ovulated this early but I guess it might be expected for things to be different so we'll see.

Dang.. I can't really get the test to look like anything at all, and I'm not sure this link will work anyhow, so...

Here goes, and I'm off to the store for more tests!

http://picasaweb.google.com/sjyaffe/...eat=directlink

Thoughts? I think it looks negative, even when close up, but IRL, you can see a very faint pink line. I will test again and post more pics.

Soul-O - Do you have a scanner, by chance? That's how I usually do mine and they come out really well. I can't really tell from that photo - just because I can't see much, not because there isn't something there. Maybe others will have more luck.

Hi Momma's!

I guess it's time for me to stop lurking! DS is almost 26 months old, where does the time go? He's still nursing, but only at naptime and bedtime these days. Got my 1st PPAF when he was 13 months old , but we weren't ready for a second little one until now! We TTC last month, but my temps took a dive and AF just showed up so... I need to be added to the Waiting to O list!

Good luck to everyone!

Hey mamas:

I took a FRER a couple of hours ago, and got another faint second line. I still can't get either a photo or a scan to show up decently enough for viewing, so my plan is to test again tomorrow and see if I still get a BFP (big faint positive in this case!). I suppose I can be moved to success stories at this point.
