Pookie sending you happy labor vibes.

http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/1dfb40 Any of you expert chart readers want to give your thoughts on my whacky chart? Originally, FF gave me a O date of CD20 but when I put the spotting in it took them away. I thought I o'd on CD22 but that was probably wishful thinking as CD20 would have been impossible for conception. My acu thought CD20. But here I am at CD34 and no AF. I never have a LP longer than 13 days. So perhaps it's possible I did not o yet. Where o where have all my good eggs gone, oh where oh where could they be.....

As for the popups. I actually have popup blocking turned on through aol and my virus software and I am still getting tons of popups. It's really irritating and I no longer surf for info. on Mothering.com. Too bad it's a good resource but the popups just make it impossible to navigate.

Hi Ladies,

Quick update on Pookie. She and her hubby (and their son) welcomed a little baby girl into the world a few days ago via water birth. They are completely overjoyed! Everyone is doing fine. I'm sure she'll drop by when she has a chance.

Note: She's added her newborn onto her siggie: DOB is 10/28/09.

Can you all look at my chart? http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/8fe89 This morning's temp caused FF to move my O date back to cd13 So that means if that is right, I am 16dpo. I am wondering why they moved it? Are they anticipating me starting because of the temp dip? I jsut find it weird that it suddenly changed again.

MM I agree with FF CD13 for you. So 16 DPO sounds promising.

I hope it was CD22 for me as it means I have a chance. But a slim one as that would make me 12dpo and my cervix is now low and soft so I am guessing AF tomorrow.

Happy Halloween to all who partake. My little bee just left with dada to go trick or treating she is so psyched to go so she can get candy for dad. She doesn't eat it so she trades him for it and she gets a toy or as she told me yesterday just because it's a nice thing to do. I have the greatest child ever!!!

Hi all just a quick update. DD was born on Wed, Oct 28 at 5:43 am measuring 21.5 inches and weighing 8 pounds 14 ounces. I had an extremely fast labor (just over two hours or so), and as a result had a nasty tear and it seems some sort of prolapse (midwife postponed my home visit due to illness), so I'm spending most of my time in bed. We are so proud of our little girl. She is so cute! It was so much better to give birth at home, in water.

Thanks Waturmama I am pleased with this cycle. My goal is to get back into balance and focus on that. So having a 29 day cycle with a 16 day LP for me is good. I am also having no cramps or anything so that is nice. I love TCM it helps so much.

Yes, MM, yay to TCM and balancing out--you're balancing longer, I'm balancing shorter.

I forgot to post that my temp shifted last Friday on CD18, same as last month--thinking the TCM helped with the shorter and the regularity. So I am 4 dpo today. With me getting over a cold and dh working long hours, we only got one BD in last week--it was the night CD15, a little early but I had plenty ewcf this time. So...

Congrats to Pookie and family! 2 hour labor, wow.

AFM, turning 43 on the 9th, which feels discouraging. My mom had my baby brother when she was 42, so the two pregnancies I had this year, unsuccessfully, I was SURE were *the one*. Our d&C was in July, then MIL died in Sept. and was buried on the day I was supposed to see the RE, then October I had a large estrogen producing cyst. Sigh.

So I'm awaiting AF in a week or so to go on a medicated IUI cycle if the cyst has resolved. ::crossing my fingers

well DH was pretty disappointed this month when af showed up...he is determined that Nov. will be "the MONTH". He is switching back to boxers, taking his Fertility Blend and wants to BD everyday... I don't think I can be quite so compliant with that request! I think I will go back to the progesterone cream also. I was really struggling with that decision, but I'm cool with it now. CD6 today and I'm back to charting meticulously on FF! Where do I find directions on how to post my chart here?
Kel, hope the cyst has resolved for you!

Yay Pookie. Hope you heal quickly without problem.

MM cheers to the good cycle.

AFM, I am wondering if this is menopause, CD37.......... tbc http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/1dfb40

These popups are driving me crazy! They are apparently immune to my popup blocker. I tried posting a question about them in the questions and suggestions forum but it seems my question was moderated as it never showed up.

: Pookie! Congrats on your little girl :

Well, my d&c was nearly 4 weeks ago, and it feels like AF is imminent. My abdomen feels very "full" and I've been a touch crampy. We shall see. I'd like to just get on with it, know that I am cycling and get ready for January when we can start trying again.

In the meantime, I get to have a mammogram! OK, not really but it was really looking like I wasn't going to get one until I was 45! (I'm 41 in less than 3 weeks). You have to wait 6 months after weaning and 3 months after a m/c, so I'm going to schedule one for January, right before we start back up. We shall see. Now, if I could just lose some pounds...

Pookie- Congratulations on your new little one! Let us know how you're doing when you can. I had a 2nd degree tear with my second that the midwife & I decided not to sew, and that took forever to heal. Hoping for the best & quickest recovery for you.

I had mammograms while nursing. If fact, my doctor told me that when she had a mammo, she squirted milk all over the machine. Where did you hear that you have to wait 6 months and why? I'm very curious.

I didn't get my mammogram before getting pregnant, but was going to and the naturopath who referred me for one said I didn't have to completely wean to have one (I ended up chickening out, partly because I'd had a chest x-ray relatively recently due to a positive TB test and didn't want to add that much more radiation to detox).

Hmm, interesting! This is what I was told when I called the center to schedule. I'd wanted to do it in between weaning and getting pregnant again, and they said I'd have to wait 6 months because milk-producing breasts are too dense for a mammogram to be reliable. Maybe it has as much to do with size? I'm a "G" cup at the moment. But I don't remember mentioning that. : Maybe this is just the policy at this mammography center.

Can we play the prediction game? Just because of my experience last month, I predict this:

You might have a cyst that didn't burst and send out an egg on one ovary's side, and it's still producing estrogen, and it may take another month to resolve. That's what happened to me with the 5 days in a row spotting, and then nothing, but then a bit later I finally started my cycle. On day 3-4 of the spotting I had an u/s because I'm under the care of my RE, and we could see a 48 mm cyst. My bloodwork showed the cyst produced elevated estrogen levels, and I also had the symptom of 3 migraines in a two week period. I've only taken bcpills for one month because they produced migraines in me - so we think this set of migraines was estrogen caused too.

So if you test, and you're not pregnant (I did POAS and also had b/w done), it isn't uncommon to have a cyst now and then, which might produce a chart like yours. Sorry. I'd much rather tell you that you're pregnant with twins.

Well, I was pretty certain I had a cyst last cycle so maybe it is still causing problems. I saw my acu yesterday and she seemed to think there was nothing to be concerned about with this chart. She thinks it is just my body still recovering from the m/c. She gave me some herbs to help with the problems I was having with sleep, my weight etc... and adjusted my follicular phase herbs. Here's hoping for a better cycle next month. Just hope AF does not arrive over the weekend as I am going to a friend's house for the weekend and the first few days are always so heavy I don't want to leave the house. Hope everyone has a good weekend. Kelli where in upstate NY are you? My DH and I grew up upstate.

Ok, I'm still in shock, but I tested at 4 AM this morning and got a BFP.
I had spotting last Friday & Saturday, and thought: OK, another 3-6 days of spotting before AF. But then, I've had no spotting since, so I'm thinking all this RC & RRL tea is beginning to work. But then yesterday, if I really concentrated on it, I could conjure up a little nausea. And, I'm at cd 28 and my cycles are almost never that long anymore. So, I went to the Dollar Store & bought 2 HPTs to use this morning. During the night ds woke up once & dd woke up 2 times, & then I couldn't get back to sleep, wondering if I was pregnant. Finally, at 4 AM, I said to myself: I can't sleep anyway, I'll just take the darn test now & when it's negative, maybe I'll be able to go to sleep.
So, it's positive, therefore, I couldn't go back to sleep. I got up twice & went to the bathroom to look again.
I told DP the news when he saw the HTP package in the bathroom garbage pail, while we were getting the kiddos ready for picture day at preschool. He said: What's this? You tested? It's positive? Don't joke with me!
He's very happy. I was afraid he'd be a little upset, since I told him the odds were really stacked against us conceiving- due to my age, 44, still nursing dd twice a day, & my perimenopause symptoms. And that if I did get really lucky, it would probably take a while.
So, since I've had 2 mc's, we both feeling very cautious. For dd & ds I was very nauseous from the start, but for the early mc I was never nauseous, and the later one, I lost the nausea. Here's hoping for making calls on the porcelain phone.

We lost our dream of a baby that would have been due this month, back in April and since then we've not been avoiding, but not been going crazy wild either. We've had a few months where I though maybe/baby, but no such luck. Anyways, I'm still nursing our 18 month old on demand, which can be pretty often, some days and nights, but I have finally had about 4 really normal cycles. Normal 28 day length, with a 10-11 day LP etc. The only thing I'm worried about is I still seem to be ovulating on day 16 or 17 instead of 14, and I"ve read that can cause the egg to not be as healthy. Hopefully that's not the case.

Anyways, I'm on CD 13, and we are going ahead full speed this month.

I'm 43 now(so I guess the list on the first page needs to be updated...lol) Trying to just go with the "if it's meant to be" philosophy. I've always proven to be very fertile in the past, so I guess only time will tell.
