2bPeaceful : Congrats!! Have a happy and healthy 9 months! :

Stealthee It is *awesome* to feel those little kicks, isn't it

WaturMama : May this one be the golden egg!!

Pookietooth : Hope the placenta is moving where it needs to be and baby too! Have you done the babyspinning exersizes?

Veganmama Glad the roids are less painful now. It's only been a little while, hopefully they will go down further and you won't need the surgery. Sending lots of kisses to Declan (and siblings)

MassagingMama I was totally stressing over trying to decide if the control line was darker than the test line...ugh! I gave up and forked out $$ for the Clear Blue Fertility monitor b/c I figured it would take a long time to get pregnant and the digital OPK are pretty expensive too.

Saoirse Is Rauri nursing better since her tounge tie was corrected? I am impressed that you got her in the sling on your back. Did you have help? I tried sling carry with DS but I am so chesty I always felt I was squishing/smothering him. I never did try the back sling!

MSG : your FSH rocks, girl! Sorry the clinic messed up on the ED's tests

AFM I'm CD # 28... don't think I'm going to ovulate so I wish I would hurry up and get AF already! http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/Iwant2

I just found out one of the girls at work is pregnant, she's due in April. I am so happy for her but it's a constant reminder now about the lo I lost I just about cried when she showed us the U/S picture. I hope I can get pregnant again soon.

Well big to everyone! Have a great week.

Saorsie, how cool is that back carry contraption! Rauri looks adorable and oh, so peaceful in the sling. I guess you just have to be careful that you don't sit down and recline backwards! I can't wait to be in a similar position. I'm definitely going to have to reach out to all you mamas for tips.

My doctor isn't happy that my selected donor is 32. They really want someone 22 - 26 or 28 at the most, so I'm back to searching for a new one. I just started communicating with 2 other gals who would both be good choices. Hopefully they're both serious about moving forward. However, if I get pg in Nov or Dec, I'm going to be suffering in July / August with the extra padding and humid summer conditions. I wonder if there's a way to start the process financially in 2009 but complete it in 2010 and not lose my FSA money. (It would be great if I could put more money into my 2010 FSA and save even more $$). I'm worried that I'm going to lose most of the $5k that I put in for 2009 if I don't move forward quickly.

10DPO and feeling tired and nauseaous (I hope I just spelled that correctly) can anyone say psychosomatic? No breast tenderness and my chart looks nothing like my pregnancy chart but it does look a lot like all my non pregnancy charts so waiting until Wednesday for AF to arrive and move on to the next cycle. Hurry up Wednesday.

MsGB hmm if I was looking at losing 5K I think I'd be trying to find a way to spend it. Can you give it to the fertility clinic as a downpayment and then if you don't use it they could refund it later?

HI Kristin,

Great suggestion. I've been thinking about that myself, and of perhaps putting the ED's payment in escrow or buying the meds in advance. I've got a few months, but yes, I should try to spend the $ by late October, just in case the claim gets rejected. Then I could spend it on lots of over the counter items instead. Perhaps a truckload of OPK's and PG tests!

Good luck with your TWW.

Hello dear womenfolk,

I stopped by to say hi and catch up a little bit on postings. I'm so far behind that I cannot make individual comments, but know that I've read and am thinking of you

I'm going through a very inner time right now, and focusing more of my energy on my intimate relationships as well as on forgiveness and positive affirmations. I'm finding that I am more balanced in my focus on ttc, which, for me, is a good thing.

Having prepared my new home -- all the external factors -- for a new child (feng shui, fertility statues, etc.), I felt it important to work on my own self, to look at my own fears and worries about having another child (instead of allowing dh to take that on fully), and to look at my own work with intimate relationships. This all in preparation for -- and to welcome our next child into -- a maturing, healing family.

So that's where I've been. I'm sure I will be in and out here, and of course I will be watching and hoping and sending good wishes to you all. This 40+ thread is my favorite on mdc

xoxo

~Karenchicken3.gifso happy to be mothering my four... DS ('94), DS ('94), DD ('00), and DS -- June 8, 2011, our UC baby!

Congratulations, 2BPeaceful! Great news! Sending sticky baby vibes.
Lisa Sedai, hope you O soon, how weird. And thanks for the placenta movement thoughts. to you about the loss, it can be so hard to have people around us conceive when we have a loss or are having trouble. What are baby spinning exercises? The midwife told me to lean forward a lot and be on hands and knees a lot but that's it.
Saoirse, glad you found someone to treat your dd's tongue tie. I wish I'd found someone for ds, he had such weight gain issues, and obviously has a mild tongue tie. He has trouble with his speech and I suspect that it's caused by the tongue tie.
to you MI Dawn, so sorry found you.
Welcome back BHappy, sounds like you're doing a lot of work to prepare to TTC, that's really impressive. MsG, I would see about a deposit, my fertility clinic had me put one in.

MsGBs, why do they care that your prospective ED is 32? Do they think that is too old????

Lisa, don't feel bad. I think all of who have had losses or IF issues can understand how you feel when a frend or colleague is PG.

congratulations 2bepeaceful!

That's awesome VM you are my HERO!

AFM feeling kind of irritable and tearful so I think AF is on the way. As long as she waits until Wednesday I'll consider it a good month. Off to take dd to the local bounce house to get some of her energy out it's raining and today is her 4th birthday and she is ::::

Yes, VM...they want an ED who is under age 28...22 - 26 preferably. I think I may have found one in that range. She seems committed to the ED process, looks enuf like me, and lives in CA, so the testing and retrieval won't require a lot of travel for her. Plus, younger means potentially fewer meds to stimulate her, which in turn means less $$ for me to pay.

VM...I'm going to do my best to rival you on the athletic front during and after pregnancy. I'm going to try and step up my routine now anyway. I just got cast in the lead role of a short film, and I want to look amazing (considering that I have to wear sleep attire and a swim suit in the role). Scary...where is my bootie double?

Oh...I could use some gal pal input. I'm going to create a screen name, so that I can separate my professional identity from my acting identity. Which of these names do you women like best? Please vote!

Suzanne Margot (or Suzannah Margot)
or..
Margot Gayle

Both resemble my given name, but are unique enough that they will serve to separate my two "careers".

Thanks!

Amy, try fish oil, music, exercise, and if none of them work, just recognize that grouchiness is part of what comes with being a woman whose hormones fluctuate throughout our cycles! Be kind to yourself. This too will pass! Probably in a few short days.

I'm now leaning toward Suzannah Gayle, although Margot Gayle was my first favorite. I guess they're all good names. If the film goes to a festival or out to distribution, I would certainly let you know. Most likely it will be submitted to festivals. It's only going to be about 15 - 20 mins long, so not a feature film shown in standard theaters. Who knows? Hopefully it will be good and get accepted into some festivals. I don't think it will be posted on the web, though.

Thanks for your support!
