Hey everybody! It's February, can you believe it? (I can't!) Anyway, I'm going to implement an idea we had last month -- the one thread idea. Everyone and anyone can post here at any time in their cycle.... it'll probably work best if we keep reminding ourselves where we are:

I'm on CD 2, I guess. Brb (bright red bleeding). My temp hasn't dropped yet, but I don't really think there's a possibility I'm preggers. I have immensely long cycles and seem to be anovulatory. That's very discouraging....

Where is everyone else as we head into the shortest month of the year?

[Edited to add this list. Updated list 2/25/04 -- Korin is graciously taking up the task of updating the list for March, please PM her if I have missed you or you are lurking. Thankyou. I'll miss you all while I'm on vacation ]

Hi, Alexis! I'm sorry about your cycle situation. I hope that you can get it sorted out soon.

I love your idea of one thread!

I'm on cd 21, 5 dpo.

I forgot to ask... did you ever try vitex or any of the other herbs to help regulate your cycle?

How bout we put our Status in the subject line each time? That way we always have a reference!
Thanks Alexisyael for starting this! Sorry that you're RTCW (riding the crimson wave) s
Ok so here I am... healing from my fall (see Jan 2ww) I actually felt so much better the next day - Amen to ice and arnica... I didn't fall prey to my desire for Ibuprofen! But anyway, I can walk (except downstairs) without pain, and my face looks relatively normal.... my good friend Molly calls me "baby broken face" and Ryan (HHH) calls me chipmunk-pea... (his nicknames for me always stem from some sort of sweet-pea reference... dorky I know, but god I love that guy! ) so I'm feeling much better, but not ready to hit the yoga mat again, or go for my normal sunday walk. bummer!
I must admit that I tested yesterday and today... both BFN. I'm going to allow myself to go crazy with testing for the following reasons (yes, I'm trying to convince myself!: )
1) this is my first offical month of TTC - and the first time I've ever had the pleasure of taking a pregnancy test.
2) they were cheap, so I don't feel bad about spending a crapload of cash
3) I'm crazy - but I'm only doing it once a day - and trying to skip tomorrow morning!
4) there are moments where I'm convinced that I really am pregnant, and then alternate moments when I know I'm not....(tell me that's normal!)
5) other people got BFPs as early as 10DPO... right?
6) I have felt crappy for days ( a little nauseous) and have to pee all the time, and my boobs hurt like crazy.
Ok that is all from me today...

Hello

I think I'm 4dpo. It is a guess though - I don't temp and my last cycle was REALLY weird (10 days shorter than usual) so I'm more than a little confused. I split the difference and am counting my cycle as being 5 days shorter than usual this time (my usual is 35, so I'm guessing based on a 30 day cycle plus the appearance of my cm).

Confusion, confusion, confusion.

I may even have missed bd on my fertile time because DH and I were both really sick (and so were the kids - barfing everywhere) so we didn't even bd until the day of my suspected ovulation - way too late if my cycle is super short again.

Just crossing my fingers at this point.

Mama, homeschooler, midwife. DD (13yo), DS (11yo), DD (8yo), DD (3yo), somebody new coming in November 2013.

fabulous idea about putting our status in the subject line, Chiromama!

BTW, it's totally all normal, that craziness You're lucky you got cheaper tests -- I can't bring myself to buy them! (BTW, some women say those tests aren't as sensitive and it takes longer to get a BFP -- even though the test makers say they are sensitive.)

Glad to hear you're healing after your fall! Hope you get your BFP...

I'm trying to convince myself that yoga (maybe minus any inversions) would be good for my stupid crampiness... um. yeah. Not really working. Maybe I'll do some light stretching. Really, I'm mostly looking forward to going to the movies this afternoon and then watching the Super Bowl and Survivor. I need the diversion!

gristastic -- I was on a prenatal when I first started ttc that included vitex. Then about a month ago I switched to another one... I will be going and getting some stuff from the Health Food store I think. Vitex, maybe some red raspberry tea etc...

gotta go check and see if Lucysmama posted her BFP in a new thread....

I say may have cause i'm not temping yet, and on that day, i had monstrous cramping. So, if it was then, we very likely could have caught the egg, cause we bd the day before under very fertile conditions .
So, my cf is still stretchy, but no longer clear, but white. My cp still seems high, but i can't always truly tell : . I'm gonna have to make myself start temping next month; the opk's are worth crap to me, it seems.

I posted over in Jan 2-ww, but this makes more sense...

temp dipped today, but not below coverline. tested. BFN.

I had myself quite convinced I'd be starting a Feb BFP thread...big sigh.

Alexis.

Glad you're feeling better, chiromama!

Patience vibes to those waiting to test, to everyone!

I'm such a goon.. I posted over at Jan 2ww. I forgot what month it was Get with the program, Johanna And thanks to haveasoul for pointing out my error

As I said there, I'm on CD 39 & 25dpo. Still testing Time for the progesterone I was hoping the vitex would fix my cycle issues.. but it has been only my first cycle on it, I need to give it time. I'm told it doesn't generally won't work until anywhere from the third to sixth month. And I actually ovulated which I'm VERY happy about. I should make another animated gif about ovulating

Which reminds me, notice in my sig line that its official, my home made smiley is up!! *cheer*

well, spotting has begun, so looks like this wasn't it. At 16 DPO, I was hopeful...don't know why the my LP was so long, then - what was the point of that?!

feeling nothing but sad and weepy today, but I'm sure in a couple of days, I'll be back on track...booking appts. to see if there's anything we can find out...dh has promised to make a call re: sperm analysis tomorrow...at least it's Sunday, and I can be with him, and cry all I want...don't think I could have done this on a work day.

heavsol, : i should be joining you sooner or later.

korin - sounds promising!!!

i was sort of hoping to have sore bb's this time around but no such luck. considering that we bms'd five days before o and the fact that i'm not "supposed" to get pg my first af from the m/c, i can't but wish and hope a tad.

we're gearing up for this next cycle though. i sure hope it was as easy as getting pg in Oct.! Only this time I don't think i'll belong to the nursing while ttc club. guess they gotta wean sometime.

Chiromama-so glad you're ankle is better and as far as testing-YOU GO GIRL I know when I bought a bunch of cheapy strips I felt like it was smarter for me to test than to drive myself insane and wonder! It was worth the few bucks! And hopefully you'll only need one!!!!

Everyone else that is hanging in there-I'm right here with ya...CD 12 and I usually O on day 18 so this week we're going up for a Valentine baby making weekend! My in-laws already agreed to take the kids too

Take care all!

Not like last month, yet... Here's my chart . I messed up on temping this weekend, taking it at 4:30am yesterday so that I could get up to pee, and I usually take it between 5 and 5:30am, which is an insane wake up time for me, so today I slept in and took it at 7:30am. Yeah, that came back higher than expected. I know that it may really not be telling me anything, but I'm convinced it shaping up to be triphasic... trying to wait patiently. I am calmer now that I'm charting than I was last month, but starting with the everything could be a symptom thoughts, which can get a little disconcerting.

Korin, glad you're feeling better, and having fun with the testing. Sore bbs are a very promising sign.

Heaveasoul Take care of yourself!

Johanna, congrats on the smiley! I hope you get your cycle issues sorted out soon, I'd be going bonkers if I were you!

Hi, I guess I can officially post here now! This is the first day of my first PPAF (I think)! DD is 9.5 months old, and I would like to wait a few more months before actually *trying* to get PG. I am going to start charting tomorrow, though. Good Luck to all this month!

Oh, I have been lurking here for the last few months, and wishing everyone lots of :BFP and

I had an idea for the OTTRTA! It would take a bit of work, but maybe there could be a status chart at the begining of the thread, stating everyone here, and an update of where they are. Possibly updated daily or weekly? As an example:

Waiting to O

Mandy (Free Thinker) CD1
AnnR33 CD 18

Waiting to know

chiromommy 11 DPO

This months :BFP

???

Okay, it's not a good list at all, and just an idea I just added a few of you that I saw posted earlier

Oh Heavsoul! What a bummer! s

Freethinker elcome Hope you enjoy our insanity! I like your idea, however, we might want it to say.... Waiting to O with just names, and waiting to know (very cute!) with just names.... if we put cd and dpo days , it will have to change daily.

Johanna.... I love that smiley! I'd love to see an ovulating one too

I just got home from seeing Mystic River..... holy cow what an intense film!
I'll let you know tomorrow if I test again..... however, right now (of course this changes every hour) I don't think I'm pregnant, I think it's PMS. Heck, last night I almost cried at the end of ELF. What a dork I am!

Happy February!! I may have o'd or maybe my temps rose because of a virus I had last night. My cm is screwy and I have no OPK's. We haven't been bd-ing much anyway due to me feeling very off. I think it's the Vitex, so I have stopped using it. I read somewhere that it has been used to lower sex drives. I can't have that (not the highest sex drive here anyway) especially when the point is to make a baby!

Also, I have an RE app't Thursday, but I think I am going ot cancel it. I made it in desperation, but never felt comfortable with it. I think I am back to "It's the nursing, so will just wait out dd's need for it and then go from there."

Sorry to those who aren't pg this cycle.

BTW, I like freethinkers idea without the cd specifics.

Hi everybody. I'm just getting used to all of this TTC stuff, so if I don't make any sense or say something stupid, sorry about that. I'm on CD14 of my 2nd TTC cycle. So, right now DH and I are getting down to business as much as possible. Now comes the wait.

I'm sending you all and

BTW, every day I'm obsessively comparing that cycle day with my cycle days when I conceived #1, as if it's going to happen exacly the same way. Is that crazy? Anyone else do that?

Heavesoul: Sorry about AF... take care of yourself.

I'm only on cd 3... pretty boring. I guess this is the 2 week bd practice time!

Good luck everyone!

Hey everybody!

(Love that this thread caught on! And I love the idea to have a running tabulation -- changing weekly -- of where everyone's at. I guess, since I started this thread this month, I will take responsibility for it If you are lurking and you want to be included in the ongoing "who is where" list, PM me!)

Anyway, I'm still rtcw... my temps are still highish, but I just compared my charts, and actually, they went down gradually last time, too. So, I am now sure I am not preggers. I guess we're going to be having a lot of fun in February (and possibly March, since I have such a long cycle). I'm really hoping I ovulate this month!

Sorry to everyone who is rtcw and good luck to those waiting to test! Peace out

Hi all. Well, it's confirmed - I'll count yesterday as 16 DPO, with light spotting, and today as CD 1, RTCW - and she's a big wave - very heavy, ugh.

Thanks for all the hugs. Glad I could spend yesterday at home with my hubby. A pretty weepy day, but although I had to stop myself from tearing a few times today at work, I'm already feeling the shift...it usually takes couple/few days before I start feeling hopeful again, embrace the new cycle...

not impressed by the longer LP , or by an acne break-out, for that matter...I thought that was a pretty strong symptom...a very unusual breakout. And of course, since I didn't test until 16 DPO, I don't know if I had another chemical pregnancy...

Welcome Free Thinker - hope your stay is short & sweet!

Ok, i am NOT pleased! WHY do i still have ewcm? Hmmmm? It's been like five or six days now! It is whiter and less clear and less of it in general, but doesn't it's presence indicate that i STILL have not o'd, at cd 19? Also acne breakout . Can someone explain this ridiculousness to me? Oh, i am definitely gonna have to bitet he bullet and start charting next month to see IF i am o'ing at ALL !

chemigogo, your guess is as good as mine! Perhaps someone else will be able to help better?

Anyway, you could always start charting now -- see what your temps are doing... it won't necesarily give you an indication if you've Oed or not, but it might help you figure it out. Then again, it might not...

being in limbo sure does suck. I think that might be why I'm OK with my period having started... at least now I know where I am :LOL

hugs

Well of course I tested this morning - and BFN. THis is the first day I actually felt dissappionted by it..... and said out loud "maybe I should stop testing". Of course I figure this out right around the time that I SHOULD be testing, since this is when people get postive tests. I'm a little down today, probably because the insomnia came back last night - and I only slept 3 hours. Hopefully I'll sneak in a nap between patients at lunch time - AFTER I take the damn printer back to the shop! UGH!

I keep going through swings where I think " I MUST BE PREGNANT!" and then I know I'm not... is this normal? Any kind words you'd offer to make me feel less like I'm going insane?

Honestly I don't know how you women do this month after month... this is hard emotional work! I know those of you that have been TTCing for a while must be really strong and resilient... and I bow down to you!
Actually, I have to admit, I have been TTCing for about 18 months now.... however I only got Ryan to remove the condom 2 months ago.... hahahaha
Chemigogo... I wish I had something to say to ease your frustration... you need Adina... she always has a good answer!
Jessviola - I haven't ever charted, so my opinion would be crap! - again, lets get Adina in here!
Hevasoul - another I'm sure I'll know your pain in a few days! (well I'm still keeping hope alive)

Hey I just thought of a new abbreviation KHA... keep hope alive... for those few days before RTCW when you think you may be pg!
