I've been charting for 6 months now, and I've noticed for my last 2 cycles that after when I suspected I've ovulated, my temps stay around 97.6 for 4 or 5 days and then rise to near 98ish? Prior to ovulation my temps are pretty low, some below 97 and/or in the low 97's. I do get the pre-ovulatory dip and then it rises just a little to the 97.6 or 97.5 range for 4-5 days. Very confusing to me. Any insight would be appreciated.

No insight for you but I have experienced that as well. Hopefully it is normal!

you dont need 98s to be healthy, especially if you are mouth-temping as mouth breathing when you sleep, among other things, can drop that temp by a full degree.

I temp vaginally and find the only thing i do that really messes with my temps is changing the amount of blankets.

Ive also noticed that mouth temping my temps are 96s to 97s and NEVER hits 98, but temping vaginally... im upper 97s pre o and mid-to-upper 98s post o

When I awoke this morning, my temp was 98.2! I'm glad to see evidence that there's progesterone going on. Now I'm just hoping that there's something in there to implant- we'll see...
