I suppose it's possible I ovulated later than ever before. Circumstances over Thanksgiving were certainly stressful enough. Plus I remember thinking, hm, I wonder if I even really ovulated, and temping just to be sure and my temp was kinda low for ovulation at 2dpo, then jumped up the next day. I have NEVER in recorded history ovulated later than CD15. If I did, then I guess I could only be 13dpo.

Why the ramble? I'm at the day when AF always comes with progesterone. She certainly gave me some harsh stabbing cramps this morning. I've had minor minor minor brown spotting (like have to go spelunking for it) for 3 days. But no AF. BFNs yesterday and today. Is she just trying to screw up my CD2 bloodwork and ultrasound tomorrow? Is it at ALL possible I'm pregnant? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! Where's my zen? I know I'm all about me, and I know I've just been lurking, and I know I don't deserve it because I've been so reserved lately. But I think I need support.

Oooo Tear.. I'd say it's possible! Even if you O'd really late. I'm not sure what they'll do about your CD2 and sono. Maybe they could take a look see! I don't know if they could tell anything this early but I'd ask.
Really really hoping for you!!

really? even if I got a BFN at what would usually be 15dpo? I so want to give in to dreamland and temptation, but I'm afraid she's just saving herself for a Monday morning salute. I'll just live in dreamland and temptation for now. For now, no AF. That's what I'll focus on. Thanks, jessica!

Ooh. OOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH! Oh Hope that sneaky lover. I am SO holding out hope for you. Nell says: "I love you and I already had a birthday." Then with prompting she says "I wanted you to be there. I'm glad we got to talk on the computer." I think she's hoping for you too.

We love you. Call to chat tomorrow either way, m'kay?

Nell also says "I WANT TO SEE AN ANTEATER" so I now have to go search youtube for some really creepy/funky videos of an anteater eating a termite mound...from inside the mound....they exist, we've seen them before, thus the persistence. Must. Go.

Really? She said all that? ohhh, I love her so super much! Tell her we really really wanted to be there, too, and that we're so so glad that we got to see her on the computer too. I can't believe what a big beautiful girl she's turning into. (tell her that, too, m'kay?) We love you guys too!

And cool about the anteaters. lol...

Okay, okay, okay, the conversation actually went:

Me: "What do you want to say to Auntie Stephanie?"
Nell: "I love you and I already had a birthday."
Me: "Do you want to tell her that you wished she was there?"
Nell: "Yeah"
Me: "It was nice to talk with her on the computer though, wasn't it."
Nell: "Yeah"
Me: "Should I tell her that?"
Nell: "Yeah"

So she wasn't QUITE as verbal as I'm making her out to be (but she's prepped to be 16 with how well she says "yeah"). She really did come up with that first bit all on her own (no prompting at all from me), and I do think that she was thinking that she wanted you there for her birthday and that's why she mentioned "I already had a birthday" (when I asked her who she wanted to invite last month, you were at the top of her "guest list")...

I'll pass on your messages. We love you (and of course we SO hope you're pregnant, but we love you either way). MWUH!

She really enjoyed the anteater vids too. If anyone else is just SO hoping to see that (I have no idea what got her to watch it in the first place...dh must have read some book with an anteater to her or something), you can check it out here: http://www.arkive.org/giant-anteater...video-08b.html

...try not to picture that long, flicking goopy tongue going anywhere other than a termite mound. ick ick ick!...

Hey – may I join in?
I’m Schae, wife to T and mama to Luka who is going to be 5. We’ve been TTC since March 09, and have had two losses since then – our first loss was in 2007 when we weren’t actively ttc. Dh and I are going to see a fertility specialist in Jan 2010.

I have PCOS and ovulate fairly late in my cycle, but I’ve managed to get pregnant four times before, now the key is to stay pregnant!

ok, well, nevermind: Monday morning salute. I slept so so badly with the night sweats as the progesterone finally left my body and I woke up at 5:30 with a low temp and bleeding. Now I'm exhausted for school. Thanks, AF. You had all weekend to screw up my sleep when I could nap. I stick my tongue out at you.

Tear, I'm so sorry about AF. What a witch! I stick my tongue out at her, too!

Beloved You're not out yet, girl! Still have my for you!!!

AFM - Ooooooh, that "possibly triphasic" message popped up today! I know better than to get too excited, because it's happened before and I wasn't pregnant... but I'm just gonna obsess about it a teeny tiny bit, m'kay?

Temps down, bleedings done, butterflies in the tummy have set in. Just a few more days until DF is home... I cant wait! Its not quite as omg-Im-gonna-faint-from-excitement exciting as it was when he came home from Iraq but it is still extremely exciting! 2 weeks of having him home... well, sorta. 1 week of having him home and 1 week of having him up in Michigan with us to visit his family...

The only thing I am worried about now is if by some odd chance I do get pregnant, HOW am I going to hide the pregnancy for the whole 13 weeks?! I tend to get morning sickness around the time I get my BFP... my family will catch on really fast if I am sick every time I see them... and my mom has this tendency of telling me I am pregnant before I even know I am.

GAAAAHH! SO not fair. Argh. Blargh. Boo. Hiss. GRRRRRR. I will look for more stories to make you smile (although I'm not convinced that Nell wandering naked through the kitchen saying "I want a chocolate chip. I'm so sorry to hear about your losses I've got PCOS too. We can commiserate together at the very least. Good luck, and here's hoping your stay is very short!

Liz I know you're lurking- how's it going? Anything new?

AFM- 5dpo. And NOTHING to obsess over. In weird news I've had stupid muscle spasms on both sides of my abdomen for two days in a row. NON-STOP. SOOO ANNOYING! Oh, and lowest pregnancy points ever on stupid FF. I'm temping again to prepare for next cycle's meds, which is once again, driving me crazy. *SIGH* Why won't this damn chart just flash *PREGNANT* at me so that I know RIGHT DAMN NOW? Have a good day ladies!

i would too. oh god. the thought TERRIFIES me.

anyway, ladies, THIS IS WHY WE ALWAYS LIE ABOUT OUR LMP TO DOCTORS. seriously though! i can't believe they just think you're being cute by charting and that it's meaningless. you could always tell them you just looked at your calendar again and realized your dates are off, and your actual LMP was 11/4, and then you'll actually have an accurate due date on file and not have to worry about being told you're behind dates or whatever. i think them thinking you're nearly a week ahead of where you are is GOING to add anxiety to it because then you will always seem behind, you know? it sounds like things are right on. aren't you having another u/s at 7 weeks or something? by that point you'll probably see the HB! then from there it's just a matter of 2 weeks to pass the 9 week "milestone," and then at 10 weeks your embryo will officially be a fetus and your risk of loss will drop considerably!

wahoooooo! i hope you're feeling much more positive about things this fine monday, after the rough week you had last week!

also, i can't speak for anyone else, but FWIW i don't mind seeing your pregnancy updates here at all. i don't see this as a safe space from BSL's pregnancy updates. i mean, it can be rough being part of a thread with people flitting in and out, graduating only being on the boards a week, and seeing a new BFP post practically EVERY DAY. nothing against them - yahoo for them, really - but this is a place where it's safe to feel bitter and snarky and discouraged rather than happy for a new BFP every day. and to know that EVERYONE here understands that feeling of "why not ME yet?!" makes it so much easier to vent and grumble without trying to censor yourself. so your posts (or lauren's, or lisko's, or anyone else who pops back in) never add to any discouraged feelings. i'm just so happy to see updates from a friend who has been waiting and wanting this so badly. it's actually encouraging to see someone on the other side, you know what i mean?

it made ME smile. how are you doing, carlyle?

hmmm, i guess i didn't multi-quote all the posts i wanted to respond; i think i missed a post by lisko and by mae! i'll go back and check after posting.

afm, acupuncture again today. it felt great. i really feel hopeful about this working. even if it isn't this cycle or next cycle or the one after that, i feel like this might help balance out my cycles and also just improve my general mental health. yay!

much needed after a really difficult, stressful weekend with a very sad and sick 2 year old. we had planned to do some fun things for her post-bday weekend, and for chanukah (DH and i aren't religious or observant of anything, but since his parents are jewish we do a little family dinner/candle-lighting night during the holiday). instead we stayed in the house and changed the bed sheets about a billion times.

whoops, guess i'm not going to go back and check for those two posts just yet; DD just woke up from her weirdly-timed nap.

Just wanted to say, Liz, I know speaking for myself that I really want to hear your updates, you are an inspiration

YYYM, I hope your little one feels better soon for the accupuncture

afm? I guess because I had a faint BFP at 11dpo with my last pregnancy I expected it this time.

DH and I have been arguing abvout money this week (alot ) so maybe it is better that we not be pregnant this cycle.

                                Whatever will be, already is...

Oh Tear I was SO SO sure after your posts Saturday and Sunday that this was IT. So sure. I'm sorry. I know how deflated and sad you must be. I hope that you and DH are surprised by a miracle while you're away over the holidays. And I agree with Nanette- when you get in with your RE, that will definitely be IT. you and your sweet DH are SO SO meant to be parents. maybe the thought of having "no chance" will help you two to relax and get that surprise.

nanette- I wish you had some symptoms for me to obsess over, too! glad you're staying so positive, despite temping again... what a pain! FWIW, I still have 8 pregnancy points. eight.

beloved... I agree with everyone- it's still early EARLY!

Lyndzies--- ooh oooh oooooooohhh!!! I love your chart! and since I kind of stopped charting, I mostly stopped stalking other people's charts; but i couldnt stay away from yours! looks good!

welcome schae to the BSL thread. Sorry you've had to wait so long for your LO that you're here, but you couldnt have picked a better place to wait until they're ready to come to you! this is a great group.

AFM, just chilling. Er, well... trying to. still random spotting that doesnt seem to coincide with anything I can pinpoint. some cramps, and some twinges that feel an aweful lot like my LP, but i think that's just because I'm so in tune with my body after so many months of waiting and fantasizing. my next appt isnt until this Friday, the 18th... so I have another few days to twiddle my thumbs, and try to avoid bad stories online and just focus on good thoughts. I dont know that I will ever feel secure enough to fully embrace the excitement or the DDC ... i post there, but I dont know... it doesnt feel "real."
DH thinks it might feel real to me in August if all goes well. Maybe then it will.

The babymoon isn't over! Our long awaited A born 7/18/10, making us laugh and smile every day.

liz, there are so many reasons to have spotting and twinges throughout pregnancy. that baby is just getting comfy. it's actually kind of cool that you're getting to be seen each week. a lot of places will only schedule 1-2 first trimester visits, so it must be reassuring to be able to see your RE each week until you start to feel more comfortable. and FWIW i didn't feel like things were "real" until i was somewhere in my 2nd trimester, and not REALLY until my 3rd trimester, and not actually for really really real until we came home from the hospital.

mae, i changed your blurb - does that look okay? i also added schae and aidanraynesmom. if anyone wants their blurb changed or updated, just post in bold or PM me and i shall fix it up!

@ the 8 pregnancy points! I'm being hit hard by nausea this afternoon, but my common sense is telling me that it's due to all the coconut macaroons I've been inhaling today
By the by, I agree with YYYM! AND I think there will be nothing but good news on Friday, and you'll feel a little more secure with the whole thing then

Well, lots of information today but here's what it boils down to:

I'm out for the next two months at least. My ovarian growth is not changed, which means it's probably endometrioma, which means I have to have surgery. Hopefully they'll have a free appointment in January. We basically shouldn't try until then, because if I get pregnant they can't do the surgery and find out what it is, and there's a small chance it could be cancer. I don't particularly want to wait 9 months to find that out. And we can't try the cycle OF the surgery, so that means IF they have a Jan appointment free we can't really try until February. So there it is. I'm devastated by this news, and I've been sobbing ever since. But I suppose this means hopefully after the surgery we'll be in a good position to do an IUI. If I can drag myself out of the here and now and look forward to that, I think it's a relief. We'll just enjoy Germany and not try, but not use protection either, and certainly not worry about ovulation kits or temping or progesterone. Thanks for all of your support and optimism and well wishes. And Carlyle, that story absolutely made me smile, so thank you. I love you, too! LZP, if you don't give pregnancy updates here then I have to go stalking you on other threads and it's a pain. So just do them here, ok? I'm glad you're doing well and I'm sending you super good vibes!

everybody else, I'm exhausted, but reading and supporting. Love y'all!

Just logged into Myspace to be bluntly reminded why I avoid my Myspace account. All I see is updates from my pregnant friends about how they just wish that darn baby would be born already...

And in their cases I know they weren't planned...

ugh. what a rough day this must have been for you. but it sounds like you've gotten a lot of important information and some answers about what's going on and what the next step is. it absolutely sucks that you're going to have to wait around even longer, but i bet once things start falling into place, it will happen before you know it. i know it sucks in a lot of ways, but one good thing is that you have a game plan that will boost your chances so much higher than they've been over the past several months. and i'm sure you'll enjoy germany!

never found those other posts, but lisko i bet your crampiness is just round ligament pain or some other uncomfortable uterine stretching to accommodate the LO. and mae, sorry to hear about all the myspace preggo crap - but who cares about them! it is SO SOON until you and DF get to try. wahoo! beloved, waiting for your update tomorrow... whatever will be, already is... but i'm so curious to see WHAT that will be!

afm i wanted to post this on friday but i forgot. i figured at least a few of you would understand this. so, after last month's 4-straight-days-of-BD-at-O-time sex fest, the lovin has just not been happening at casa yummy. what with both me and DD not feeling well at different points this month, DD bday craziness and visitors, the stomach bug of doom, and hubby's hectic work schedule, it just hasn't happened.

let me remind you that whenever it's O time, i have to WORK to get laid. i mean, not really work, but it's not like it will just happen. i have to basically put forth ALL THE EFFORT. because during that time, his libido magically drops and it requires some creativity to work around.

friday, we were putting the kiddo to bed, and we were expecting some friends to come by in about a half hour. as soon as her eyes closed and her breathing relaxed, he reached into the nightstand, grabbed the lube, leaped from the bed, and asked if i wanted to go to the guest bed. he was willing to do ANYTHING to convince me. now let's all guess whether or not THAT will be the case as soon as the fertile CM starts flowing??

however, he just walked in the door with a little tupperware full of cookies that he brought me, so i guess i will keep him.
