I'm still stuck at 3dpo since ff moved my O date. It makes my BD timing no where near as great but oh well, not much I can do about that now. I don't feel like we'll actually conceive again any time soon, like I don't feel like it could happen in 2010, but we'll see. I think it's just knowing that our 3 year anniversary is coming up in a few months and we have actively ttc for over 2 years.

After my weird testing on an equate this am I decided to get some FRER's to re-test this afternoon and tomorrow and such since they are highly recommended. I am 12 DPO- possible implantation dip around 10 DPO... still have nausea off and on all day. OK- so I took a FRER with a 2 hour pee hold.

Thought I saw *maybe* the faintest line during the time frame- but it still just looked so *neg* that I tossed it in the trash. Something bugged me enough to go back and have another look about 30 min later (I know- I'm bad ) Imagine my shock when I saw what is pretty easily seen- a second although light line- my daughter and I both looked at it in various lights and she agrees that it seems to have a pinkish tint to it- not colorless. SOOOOO shall I get my hopes up that just maybe I got a +???? I plan to re-test with another FRER in the am....but I have used these tests before and NEVER got a second line even hours after the test had dried...never an evap on them. Have you ever gotten an evap or second line like this?? Do you see anything on the pics below? Any color to you??? Please help me obsess!!! I just feel like MAYBE I have my first BFP...and if that is true...well...

Feel free to play with the pics/invert or such-I don't know how to. I tried to get closeups but it was hard- I hope these are decent enough.

If you can see it, note the bubble circles instead of dots. Several days before the bubbles, after temping at 5am and 7am and they were always the same, I switched to temping at 7am instead of 5am, which is when the bubbles start. But it was long before the high temps, so it should not be the cause of a false shift (higher temps from later temp time). HTH! And thanks a lot you guys!
Can you give the link to your homepage? This link just goes to the Fertility Friend home page, not your chart. Your homepage link will mean we can check out your chart. I have my fingers crossed you get your positive this month!

Okay, so... I am planning on not being an obsesser/crazy early tester this time around.

HOWEVER, I just wanted to share a very obsessive thought.

Any of you have the urge to sleep in sweats under a lot of blankets right around O time and in the TWW, in the hopes that your temp will be higher? Or am I the only whack-job??

Ladies, I have actually woken up in the middle of the night after having thrown off the covers (because, DUH, I was probably roasting) and thought "Oh crap! I have to temp in a couple hours, must cover up!!!"

It goes way beyond obsession. I'm trying to hard not to do it this month, because I don't want the one things that supposed to be keeping things objective (my temps) getting all inflated and giving me a false sense of hope.

We'll see how I feel about this resolve in 7 days or so. Lol.

More pics of the FRER test....

http://i230.photobucket.com/albums/e.../FRER12dpo.jpg

So has anyone gotten Evaps with the FRER tests? I checked my tests from days 8 & 9 DPO and there is still NOTHING on them- absolutely NO second line or evap...that is why I am getting excited over this test....cause it was only about 30 min from the time I took it till I went back and re-checked it and got this visible second line...which appears to have a pink/purple tint to it...and even though the camera doesn't pick it up that well, in person it can be seen pretty easily...I am thinking that *maybe* my HCG levels are still so low that it took the test a bit to react and pick them up for a +....Has THAT happened to anyone??

Look forward to hearing from you guys- MaerynPearl????? :-)

first, never trust a line that shows up after the time limit....

secondly, i must ask if this was in a pink foil or a white foil? (yes it matters)

that said... this was my 13dpo evening FRER: http://canyouseealine.com/hpts/5152.jpg

its hardly visible, but its there... and did indeed get darker.

my suggestion?

test again tomorrow (not again tonight... wait until tomorrow) if that was a bfp it should be slightly darker tomorrow and show up in the time limit (keep an eye on it from the time you pee on it up until the time limit hits... it could take a bit for it to show up yet... even my later ones did)

are those saveontests.com ICs?

if so I have a few guidelines for you:

1. even NOW... and i am 20 dpo, 5 weeks tomorrow... i do NOT get a visible line while the ink is still moving across the test. I have to watch it as the ink dissipates off the test to watch it show up.

2. they did NOT get evap lines. I tested twice before getting pregnant and 3 times with water after i started getting what I thought was evap lines... none of THOSE had lines on them... but every single test i dipped in my urine from 11dpo on DID... a very faint line at first and now it is considerably dark and most definitely obviously positive.

3. they do NOT photograph well... so if you see a line, you may have trouble photographing it. Enigo (i believe) gave me the suggestion of putting them on a white paper to photograph them, it helped a little but really not by much.

4. Do not be disheartened by the fact that I just said I did not get a BFP on them until 11dpo... I used FRER on 9 and 10dpo and had pure white results... I didnt get a bfp on FRER until 13dpo... and even that was extremely light (by then the ICs were visibly pink in person, though still hard to photograph)

from what I have read saveontests.com tests are a 20 sensitivity while a FRER is 25... which explains why I got the light lines on the IC 2 days before I got a light line on a FRER... (that and the fact that I didnt even test on a FRER on 11 or 12 dpo lol)

the pink ones do have a visible line... even before peeing on it (you will notice it tomorrow now that I told you that)

i was disheartened by it and i DID question my first bfp from it... but when the next days test was visibly darker... it was easy to see it was a bfp indeed.

vs
http://canyouseealine.com/hpts/5166.jpg (the bottom one is actually the same test as the first link... so you can see how much darker it got... that IS an enhanced photo though, those lines on 14dpo were NOT that dark in person, though its obvious looking at that they are indeed positive)

Gosh you guys this is so interesting regarding the frers. I did not know- until now that about the pink foil ones. Of course I just went out and blew 20 on a pack of, you guessed it, just checked and they are the pink ones. Do they suck in other ways, or is it you can see the antigen strip right off the bat? Are they less sensitive? I just now remember reading a thread somewhere venting about these new pink foils. Got all excited cause I caved and tested with SMu today. I will post pic soon as I can.

Ok- I did see that line before I took the test- it was white...I saw the same line on my other FRER's at 8-9 DPO... this line is definitally NOT white at all- it has a tint of purplish/pink to it- so *maybe* it is real...and when I first took the test I saw the white line turn to a very very very hint/phantom ghost line of pink....lol... so I figured another negative and threw it away...then about 30 mins or so after that I had a feeling I should take another look...and I did- and saw that pretty easily seen second line that is not white/nor gray.... guess only time will tell...I am SO nervous!!!

im not sure if they give evaps after, i do not have experience with that as mine have all come back BFP (and my first two which were snow white were white foil)

Well I have to say my very first pack of the FRER's that I took on 8-9 DPO were in the WHITE foil and I could see the antigen strip before taking those tests too- same as my current pink foil ones- honestly the tests look the same to me, just different colored wrappers.

Kingsdaughter76: When i tested with my first DS I was two weeks late for AF and the first test (middle of day) was blaring positive!yay! So i did the second test the next morning just to be sure and no second line appeared during the time limit, i thought it was just a faulty test but i checked later that day and there it was BFP!! So although you shouldnt check after the time limit, there is still hope!! My Fingers and toes are crossed for you!

Kingsdaughter76, good luck

I am already obsessing about my next test in the morning. I know it doesn't mean anything, but the tests I have been taking have been drying with slightly visible lines, and I know you shouldn't look after 1o minutes, but when I lay them all next to each other, the lines get progressively darker. From snow white to visible without squinting too much today smu.

I know I shouldn't get excited, but I can't help but wonder at that. if they are evaps why would they get progressively darker??

The light is not good, or I would photograph them together. Maybe tomorrow. and I will add to it the test I take tomorrow (hopefully a BFM or BFP)

                                Whatever will be, already is...

Kingsdaughter- I was thinking the same thing about testing a frer with water! Too bad it's not gonna be me.. can't afford to waste one! LOL. I totally saw the lines on a few of the pics... and thank goodness I am not the only camera addict here, lol. I am so hoping you get your bfp tomorrow! Shall we test together? I am so excited for you!

OK, here is the pic of my smu test I caved with. Not a frer. Babywishes like the ones I've used for 3-4 days now.

At 6 min...

http://i744.photobucket.com/albums/x...0/DSC02204.jpg

and 8 min...

http://i744.photobucket.com/albums/x...0/DSC02208.jpg

Don't know how well if you can see a line on this. I was all excited cause I could totally see something after the ink went across. I can tell you for sure that I watched my other tests like a hawk developing and nothing was visible until the 9-10 minute mark. And the lines on ealier tests I showed yesterday were much darker after 30 minutes. Now this one's dried it's harder to see, but I could swear there's a hint of purple to it. EEEEEE!

BelovedK- didn't mean to leave you out! We can all be testing buddies tomorrow, lol. And yeah I was wondering the same thing... like my ics started out not having a line before during or after the first 2 days. The yesterday smu had a pretty good one, but couldn't see color. Then today's... I mean, why? I really want to perform Maeryn's experiment with IC using water but have only 1 left, so I can't waste it now. LOL>

depends on you (and what you eat)

im more regular when pregnant... i normally have IBS that swings between constipation and diarrhea but that seems to go away when i get pregnant.

When I am pregnant I have loose stools. I always heard that it was constipation, but I got the opposite. Good luck

I am counting the minutes till tomorrow when I can test.
