Hi all,

It's been too long- so hard to keep up with posting. I think I've been away like a week and there is so much to keep up with! Congratulations to Beachlover and Quasar!!!!

Please move me to 2ww that's right... O finally happened! Apparently 5 days ago. It could be 4-6 days though. We did not do much in the way of BD leading up to O cause 1) we were gonna wait awhile now and 2) did not really think O was (ever) gonna happen. Now of course I am wondering if we do have a small chance of conception, so I will just hang out with you lovely ladies and see what comes of it, if anything?

No symptoms to speak of, just a bit of crampiness in lower back and belly and slight twinges on the right O side. Weird cause I had all these STRONG O pains all from the left. who knows?

must not get excited... confess I am pondering ordering a few cheapie tests but they probably wouldn't be here until a few days at the soonest. i have 1 regular brand test, not a frer or anything. OK I'll save all that test stuff for the other thread.

rcr - your chart looks great!! I like that dip myself. I had dip like that around 7 dpo when I got pregnant with #2.

Socal - My friend is about 20 weeks pregnant with a baby from a 5 day pre O BD. Determined sperm are determined sperm. Baby dust to you!

AFM - I got another BFP on a stupid IC this morning. Argh. Like, I never thought I'd be so depressed to see that line. I know it can take weeks to leave my body but I'm so restless and every day I'm bleeding or spotting is like rubbing salt in the wound, you know?

Anyways, I guilted my DH into buying me a ring for post V day... it's a diamond (but very small, 1/5 ct LOL) but it's so pretty and sweet. I don't usually wear jewelry except for my plain wedding band but now with this ring, it makes my hands look so crinkled and dingy. Like, I think I might need a manicure... haha...

Good luck to those who are testing soon!

Congrats, beachlover!!

Yuba_River - Thank you for sharing your experience with me! Sometimes I am so anxious for DD to hurry up and grow up, and other times (well, most of the time), I think she's growing up way too fast.

SoCaliMommy - You definitely have a chance this cycle! I hope we'll be looking for a new threadmistress soon.

Well, after feeling so zen about everything yesterday, I'm a bit blue again today. I'm feeling old (at 32, I'm not ancient to be TTC, but I'm no spring chicken, and if I want more than one or two more babies, that clock is pounding away in my ear), and I wonder if I would be fertile again already if I were 25. Some days I get mad at myself for going to grad school instead of having babies in my 20s.

Deb, crunchier-than-I-expected-to-be mama to my beautiful DD (07/2008), forever missing my October 2010 and January 2011 angels

Beachlover! That is such great news.

Deb, I'm the same age and I feel similarly. 32 is young, though, right?

Michelle--but yea on the ring! What a nice present!

for all the tww'ers. May the great luck this thread is having this month continue with you!

AFM, kind of enjoying the break that AF gives me, since there isn't much I can do to ttc right now. Thinking about trying Maca, and I scheduled an acupuncture appointment. I was going regularly for awhile, but dropped off during the holidays and just never got back to it. Also gently shortening nuring sessions whenever possible.... I'm trying to get down to two sessions a day in the next few weeks. We'll see how that goes!

Zwitterion and Yuba - 32 is YOUNG! I'm 38. I had my first at 34 and then 36 and got pregnant pretty easily with those 2. Now things are getting hairy but my mom had me at 44 so I guess late bloomers run in the family. I think about what I was doing in my 20s and wished I was settling down and having kids, but then it's not like I could go and do those things NOW or probably ever (travelling, going away all the time, dating). It was fun, I don't regret it. I feel totally optimistic that I'll have at least one more baby before I'm too dusty and haggard and if I feel that way you guys should too!

AFM - still having some ovary cramping, not as bad as yesterday. I can't imagine it's gearing up to O? Should it hurt for a day or two? I'm still spotting but I hope it'll stop today. It's really annoying me.

I think I need to go shopping today, we moved into a house in November and we have nothing up on the walls. It's kind of sad, granted we've been painting but still.... I should stay home and do laundry but I don't feel like it, LOL...

ETA - Zwitterion, were you in my DDC july 2008?

Zwitterion and Yuba~ 32 is young. My mom had my brother at 38 and my sister at 40. She had me at 16 but said they didn't prevent having more kids but she never ended up pregnant, until her and my dad divorced and she met my stepdad who she now has 2 kids with.

Still had EWCM yesterday, and finally got DH to DTD with me last night even though he was feeling a little under the weather. I have a feeling that if I O'd at all, it was in the last couple of days. I will have to do a CM/CP check later this evening.

DD had a rough night last night (she has chest/sinus congestion and a slight fever)... she fussed at the breast a lot, and we hardly slept.

I am new to using OPKs...so wondering if anyone could help me out on reading this?? Is this considered dark enough to be a positive?

So hard to tell!

Any of you mommas get a evap within the time limit on a IC? I am obsessing right now so bear with me I swear i saw a shadow this morning in the time frame on a IC but figured maybe it was just the strip. I took a FRER later in the morning and it was white. I took another this afternoon after witholding for 2 hours and still see the shadow line on the IC. I am only 9dpo so I know it's still early but I never had any line when I used the Ics when I was TTC last time. I got these from babywishes but they aren't the extreme sensative ones just the regular ones. What do yoou think?

Hi Holly! I meant to say hi earlier. I think we were in the Aug 07 DDC together. Maybe Nov 2010 will be a lucky month for us both. :-) I totally agree, time goes so slowly when waiting to O--and even slower in the TWW. I don't O until CD21 or so, so the first couple of weeks aren't too bad, but it gets harder as it gets closer for some reason.

jen&james, I don't know, but for you.

Thanks It looks most like the strip on the top. It is almost a shadow. I am going to test in the morning with FMU. It will be 10dpo then so hopefully it will be darker and look like the test on the bottom FX crossed that it's real and not a evap

Wembles - I would call that a positive too.

I was hoping to see a big temp jump this morning, but I woke up at 2:30 freezing, and I could not get back to sleep, so no temping for me this morning. I can't stand the wait!!

I wondered the same thing! I felt kind of PMS-ey the last few days, and I've had EWCM and increased sex drive the last few days too. LOL. I even had some slight cramping yesterday, but it wasn't like normal cramps... felt kind of similar to contractions, oddly enough.

I can't seem to figure out if/when I've ovulated b/c I keep having EWCM. I'm thinking maybe it's extended due to DD nursing more b/c of being sick? She has hardly been interested in solids at ALL the last few days, and normally she LOVES food and wants a lot of it.

I don't post often because I'm still waiting for my first AF after my pregnancy. I'm more of a lurker. My son is 19 months now and I am losing hope that I will be able to continue breastfeeding and get pregnant. My clock is ticking with a birthday looming. I will be 38 and I just worry that the longer I wait the harder it's going to be. I really don't want to wean my son, but I want him to have a sibling and the clock is ticking. I keep hoping my body will get back into gear, but so far no luck. Thanks for letting me vent.

Good luck to all those in the TWW and congratulations to those who got a BFP!

Number # 2 due 5/19/2011.

Thanks for the thoughts on the OPK, ladies.

I took another one yesterday afternoon, and again today...the one yesterday afternoon was slightly lighter, and the one from today was back to being dark like yesterday.

I'm acting as if it is positive, so cross your fingers! I haven't had PPAF yet, which is why it is so hard for me to be sure... I started temping, but my son still nurses at night, so they are not really consistent. We are trying to night wean (using Jay Gordon's method), but the poor little guy has been sick this week, so I put that on hold...

Congrats to all those with BFPs

I tested again this morning with FMU and I used a IC and FRER. I am still getting a shadow line on the IC and nothing on the FRER. It may not have been enough time though since I got the shadow line yesterday afternoon it may not have had enough time to double the HCG so I am holding out hope and will test again tomorrow morning. I am only 10dpo so mabe it's just too early.

jen & james, how frustrating!

im 3DPO and feeling like i usually do after O.. like i could be pregnant..
i have a feeling these next days will go by fast though.

my 4 year old just had major dental surgery today and it was pretty stressful for me.. im feeling exhausted and emotional. poor duckie. i feel so bad. she is resting now but we are far from home and im just looking forward to getting back to our quiet small town and out of this huge big city where we had to come.

tomorrow we have a 6 hour drive home

Wow! Soooo many BFPs already this month! That's awesome!

Not too much to report here. DD turned 9 months old today, and over the past few weeks had really taken an interest in solid foods - demanding them, even! So I was very excited and hopeful that with the spotting I had a few weeks ago combined with less frequent feedings meant AF should be knocking on my door pretty soon... Well, yesterday I got slammed with an awful bout of mastitis, obviously from not nursing as often. It is still kicking my butt, I feel AWFUL! Now nursing like maniacs trying to keep my breast drained...

MamaFern--I'm sorry about the surgery--how hard. I'm sure it will feel great to be home and have that behind you! GL with the TWW.

Jen&James, I hope you get a solid positive tomorrow!

Solejean, I totally sympathize. I waiting until my son was 26 months to get my PPAF, and I'm still waiting for my LP to lengthen.... and struggling with whether or not I need to wean to get pregnant. I think it was acupuncture that finally brought back my PPAF--something you might be able to try?

My ds is so wild and crazy and often driving me crazy these days LOL but also so much fun! He is still attached to his "nuh nuhs" but I have been setting more limits. (mostly we just nurse when we wake up and before and after nap and then before bed).

I'm on CD 9 today do de do ded ooo... No wetness yet at all I hope it shows up soon (ewcm i mean). DH and i have been BD'ing anyway for fun though lol. When do you ladies generally get ewcm? Before having ds I got it really soon after my period (like two days after it ended). This is my first "real" cycle after being on birth control (nuvaring) so who knows....I REALLY want/need to get preggo this month though because if we don't we might have to wait until next year to try again (i know...it's dramatic lol but it has to do with a vacation that's already planned for next January...so we need to have our November baby or else we'll have to wait) eeek.

Okay this post was all over but I would love to hear when you all usually start getting EWCM in your cycle?

me, dh and 2 boys = our family (oh and a cat...who is also a male...lol)
