Okay, I am beginning to feel ready to start to be more proactive in TTC... My 15 month old has dropped about 2 sessions over the last few weeks, no sign of AF. My chart is bonkers, although I can't ever seem to wake up at the same time each morning, so that doesn't help. I can't bring myself to wean her in any way, but we are really ready for another baby...

Who is supplementing with vitex or a B complex? Or is it just B6? I know this probably gets asked every month, but I guess I wasn't ready to really soak it in until now. Anything noticeable change after you started supplementing?
I'm not but these are the exact supplements a friend is taking to regulate her hormones due to PCOS. So I'd imagine they'd help with this situation too. I personally think everyone is deficient in B vitamins so it can't hurt to supplement with the complex! B6 will help morning sickness, but B12 helps energy, folic acid (B4 I believe) helps prevent neural tube defects...so yeah, I'd go with the complex!

I second this! I got af on Thursday and we we left for camping Friday morning,.......grrrrrrr!

Well, 9 day lp last cycle with no herbs . Probably since dd has been nursing less, though . She seems disinterested lately, but nurses well at night. Great to see more bfps !

Welcome KCmommy!

Mind if I join you all?

I *think* I'm in the 2ww category, but my temps are wacky. I'm on cd28 though, so i'm either waiting to test or get af. :P

(and holy crap, how proud am i to have figured out how to make that icon link?!)

DH and I are trying for a girl this time (or at least increasing the likelihood), so we're prepared for missing the opportunity several more cycles (this is our 2nd cycle ttc). My 28 month old still nurses a lot, and sleeps at least half the night with us (if not all). I'm only on my 4th PP cycle, and I only had 3 cycles between my 5yo and 2yo. I got my cycles back at 23 mos and 23.5 mos with each boy.

(wanna know worst af timing ever?? try going on a camping vacation to the florida keys, getting camp set up, ready to go to the beach...and having to dig out your diva cup for the first time in 3 friggin YEARS for your first PPAF. So you can sit with miserable, nauseating cramps on the beach while the rest of your family frolics in the sand and surf with the dolphins.) ...but i'm not bitter.

I hope this is a "positive" month for all of us.

Sorry for being a bit quiet lately. I've had no ppaf yet so ttc seems a little pointless sometimes, BUT I had my first +opk today since dd was born (I think b/c I night weaned her last month) so maybe something will happen!

This is really weird for me because DD slowed down on nursing early (though is still going at age 2.5) and I had totally normal AF from 4 mo. PP with her and no issues at all getting pregnant on the first try with DS. And now, I mean, month 5?? After my 1st in two months and second in 1 month, this is just weird for me. Nursing is really messing with me. BUT I did have 17 day luteal phase last month so that's good, right?

Yes, for a while. B6 helped with that a lot, and my LP was actually quite long in the last 3 or 4 months (like 13-14 days). Our main issue was male factor, but I guess all of the pills I was making him take got at least one of the little swimmers to swim. I also took Soy Isoflavines for the last 2 months on CD 3-7, which I think made me O a bit earlier.

Socalmommy: Have you O'd yet? If not, hope you feel better!!

AFM: OPKs are neg again. Temp was up a bit this morning but not sure if it was up enough to signal that I O'd yesterday. If not yesterday, likely today. I'm anxious to get into the 2WW already.

Ok, so it's been an odd cycle but I'm fairly confident I o'ed. Can you please move me to the 2ww?

Congrats to all the BFPs!

I think DH and I have better timing this month, if I o'd when FF thinks I did. That dip at 3dpo has/had me scared that it didn't happen yet, so we bd'ed again last night just in case my temp skyrocketed and my crosshairs moved. It would be a late O for me but, stranger things have happened.

Good luck to all of us!!

Wow, I back off for a bit and so many people I've been here with for ages have BFP's! Congrats!

Nothing much to report here. Another near miss with a just barely negative OPK last week that crushed my spirit. I know I've been saying it for a while, but I am very seriously considering weaning DD so that I can get pregnant again. I have horrible guilt for even thinking about it, but DD has nursed for 2 years, which is a lot more than a lot of kids get. My biggest reservation about it is that she is *so* very attached to it; I worry it would break her heart to lose it.

Oh, I also stopped vitex because it didn't seem to be helping anything and it was making my depression come back.

Deb, crunchier-than-I-expected-to-be mama to my beautiful DD (07/2008), forever missing my October 2010 and January 2011 angels

argh. my chart was looking almost triphasic...and then i put in this am's temp (which still falls into a triphasic pattern, but .1 lower than yesterday's). now FF says i only O'd 3 days ago. :x

i'm pretty certain i o'd around day 22 or 23 based on cm, though. i HOPE that's the case and that it's triphasic! (i didn't make cm notes in time to remember exactly which days it was ewcm, unfortunately. darn out of town guests)

sigh. the wait continues...

socali~Hmmmm, that is a bit odd; I had the same type of temp spike last cycle 5 days b4 O. I wasn't sick or anything....maybe its just surges in hormones???

Cindy, Jr'smom, babycakes~ Best wishes for you all in the 2ww

stegenrae~Sorry FF is confusing you...it often changes my O day on me, but unfortunately, its usually right for me anyways. Here's hoping you caught the eggie either way !

I've tossed around the same idea, zwitterion. DS nurses probably 5-6 times a day, and is very attached to it. But I worry about how it might be affecting my cycles. Several cycles in a row, I had very obvious fertile cm, but the last two cycles I haven't had any ewcm. I should temp to confirm whether or not I ovulate, but I'm not in the habit of it, and usually forget...
