How do your post-O temps with soy compare to your post-O temps prior to soy? Although I only took soy 2 times this cycle, my post-O temps are looking like last cycle's post-O temps which was my first soy cycle. My post-O temps in my normal cycles are a bit higher than I'm having now. At least I hope it's the soy messing with my temps, b/c they're definitely less than stellar.

I only charted once to see if my CM/CP pattern followed my temp pattern, which is does to a tee. So I cant answer the temp thing.

Holy cow, I am having the most EWCM I have ever had. Its so runny and stretchy too. Best quality ever. DH and I are on day 5 of our 10 day BD challenge. Its pretty fun so far. Hopefully I dont O too late or we will be too tired to keep going. I am hoping to O on CD 21 just like last time that I took a higher dose of soy. Today is CD 16, I started getting EWCM on CD 11 and my cervix went soft high and open yesterday. My fertility signs are awesome.

Hey ladies, I don't think I ever updated on here!  So sorry.

Anyway, I didn't not get pregnant last month.  I was sooo optimistic, I have never had symptoms that strong before....but AF came anyway.  greensad.gif

She's come and gone now, and I'm on CD 6 of my second cycle with soy.  I decided I'm gonna stick with it for another month or two at least.  I'm guessing that it was the soy that made my estrogen AND progesterone symptoms so much stronger.  But I'm okay with that.  At least this time, I know what to expect!   So when I get "pregnancy" symptoms, I'll know that they are just soy symptoms, and I can prepare myself mentally.

I'm sticking with the baby aspirin too, and trying to relax about all of it.  It's hard when it's something that you want so badly, and feel like is just out of your reach.  But by god, I'm going to try!!!

Good luck to everyone who's on soy now!  Hopefully this will be our month.  Seems to be a good month for BFPs so far!!

Hi there, just a quick pop in.

CD 13 here and haven't had a positive OPK yet but have had EWCM since  CD 10 whereas last 2 cycles it didn't start until CD 16.  So hopefully that is a good sign!

Well, I'm done with the soy. Now to see what happens! I took 65 mg on CD 3-7...or was it 2-6? I'm not sure b/c my stupid AF took a while to start, so the day that should have been CD 1 was a little more than spotting, but not much. So frustrating.

Anyway, there were a few days that I had a mild headache, and sometimes I'd suddenly feel kind of flushed and warm. Other than that, I didn't notice any other symptoms of the soy. I have been SO tired lately, but I wonder if that's because I was on maca last month and stopped for this cycle.

I'm really hoping to O a little sooner. I hope the soy doesn't mess me up!

Just wanted to jump in and say that I think the soy definitely raised my temps overall.  But, it didn't hurt anything.  I still O'd (a day early), but my lp was one day less.  (I don't know how much of that is soy or just randomness.)

Here's my charts.  http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/21b89c

The last one is when I got pg with my daughter 2 years ago.  The 3 above that are on soy.  You can see that my temps are on average about .2 degrees higher.

But, maybe that's just because I'm older or it's winter or any number of other possibilities.  Just letting you know my experiences...

In the 2WW now, I think 5 or 6 DPO.  I had SUPER sore boobs, but I've notice the hormonal post-O symptoms seemed stronger last month too, and no BFP. Overall I'm liking the shorter cycles and improved amount and quality of EWCM I've had on soy.

Still keeping hope alive for this month, anyone else in the 2ww?

Does anyone have a medical resource that explains how soy works or how they think it works?

Soy isoflavones bond to your estrogen receptors, but they are not estrogen. Somehow it tricks your body into making more estrogen by blocking the receptor. This leads to a stronger ovulation.

I am in the 2WW as well. I am 4 DPO. Not too optimistic but we will see.

Hi ladies,

Well I had 6 days of EWCM, more than usual and then, bam, back to creamy.  I never caught my O on an OPK but was foolishly testing just once a day so I guess I missed it.  Anyway, I am pretty sure I I ovulated CD 15 or 16 - last cycle it was CD 23!

So we will see.  My main reason for this is to see if my LP lengthens like it would with Clomid...

We should use OPKs more than once a day?

I'm at CD1 today, even with really good timing last cycle. greensad.gif Going to try to remember my soy this cycle.

Just checking in, probably 4 DPO.  Lots of creamy CM.  I always have creaming CM in the 2WW (or watery) but not nearly this much.  Not much else to report.  I already have bad skin for a 35 year old so I am curious to see if the soy makes it worse.

I start my next round of soy tonight. Going for the same dosage (since I messed up and missed most of the doses last cycle) - 60 mg CDs 3-6, 120 mg on CD7.

7 DPO. Lots of creamy CM, gas, bloating, weepiness, itchy skin, and a yucky feeling in my tummy. This all started about yesterday. Lots of PMS like symptoms.

I had a lot of spotting this morning (TMI - when wiping, not on underwear).  So no clue what that's about.  Obviously it could be implantation spotting but since it's only 5 DPO that seems pretty unlikely (but not impossible).  So not feeling too positive about this cycle...

Still a ton of creamy CM.

Yup, exactly! I had a cycle where I was using ovulation test strips once a day and never got a positive, but I conceived my daughter that cycle!

AFM, I'd on CD 14. I'm starting to get some wet CM, and yesterday I had some definite EWCM. So I think I have yet to O, and since last cycle I O'd on CD18, it looks like the soy did not bump that up for me. Stupid post-miscarriage cycles. I just want to go back to the way I was!

Hi everyone!  Just checking in.  I'm now on my 10th cycle in 11 months and 2nd one on soy.  I'll be upping my dosage to 80mg CD3-7 (starting today) since the 40mg didn't do anything for me last time.  I was pretty emotional on the 40mg so I'm kind of worried about what 80mg will do.  My poor hubby... LOL.

Just like that today all my symptoms vanished. Weird, there is nothing.

And now I have the scoots, which is really odd because I am usually constipated this part of my cycle. I am not sick either and I dont have any cramping. I dont think its a symptom, but it is odd for this part of my cycle.

I'm supposed to be on my 2nd soy day and I just don't know if I can bring myself to take it.  Yesterday I had horrible nausea and a bad headache (still kind of do).  My husband thinks I should just stop taking it, and I'd like to not feel like this anymore, but I can't help but wonder if this would be THE cycle.  This is so frustrating...

God luck figuring it out, MommyM...!

Well, I'm out.  AF started light yesterday after the spotting at 5 DPO!  Even with my luteal phase issues, this has never happened.  I don't plan to take soy again.  This cycle all I am going to do is take my EPO and my multi.  I have a doctor's appointment in less than 2 weeks so I am hoping she will prescrice clomid since that's known to help LPD.  We will see.

Good luck to you all!

I ended up not taking it so I guess I'm done with soy.  I *still* have a headache and it's now been about 27 hours since it first started.  I had my hubby adjust me which seemed to help a bit, but I think I'm going to have to take some ibuprofen too.  Anyway, good luck to any other mamas taking the soy.  It might have worked, but it's just not for me.

Hey ladies, hope everyone is doing okay.  Best of luck to you guys leaving, hope next month will be your month even without the soy smile.gif

AFM, I'm just sitting here at CD 17 (or 15?  I can't remember, I don't have my chart sitting right here....), but either way it's a boring place to be.  In the TWW though, as of today I've had 3 days of higher-than-coverline temps, so that's good.  Only I'm a little skeptical.....the first cycle with soy it moved my ovulation back 2 days, but this time it didn't, and I O'd right on time?  Also, the first day of high temps I was drinking the night before, so I have trouble trusting that completely.  O well, we'll see what shakes out towards the end of the cycle.

I'm not going to test this cycle at all.  I'm just going to be Patient Patty and sit here and wait for my period to come.  If for some unknown reason it's more than a week late, I'll consider testing (or just going to the MW).  Next month will be our month to start testing; we're starting with DBF lol.gif  Poor guy, he's all nervous that he has no sperm!!!  I told him that it's really unlikely that that is the case, especially because of our history of chemicals, but it's just easier to rule out his stuff first.

Good luck out there to ladies testing soon.  I want to see some BFPs!!

With my soy cycles I have O'd 3 days late, 1 day late, and 1 day early. So it can vary in when it makes you ovulate.

Hi everyone!  I've only had 2 or 3 PP cycles, but thought that some Soy might jumpstart things.  I'm on CD4 today and started taking some low dose SI from CD1, 50mg a day.  I felt a dull ache in my sides last night and again this morning, not sure if it's the Soy or if I'm just looking for a sign that it's working.  Anyone else still trying with Soy?

I'm still trying. Last night was my double dose night, and I totally forgot (the only dose I forgot)! So I took it early, early this morning. This cycle has been weird. I haven't noticed any signs that the soy is working this time around. All of my temps have been higher than normal. I've had a weird AF (very little cramping, disappeared early, then reappeared several days later). Just a weird cycle. Hope things turn around soon. I'm really ready to be pregnant!

I'm still hanging around, took my Soy again this morning.  I have a question though, for those who have experience using Soy.  Should I be feeling something?  Is there a "sign" that the Soy is doing what it should?  I haven't had any side effects and only occasionally have a dull ache in my sides, but it doesn't last long.  Thoughts?
