I am so sorry marykgrove, greensad.gif it sounds like you are really ready and it must be so frustrating to feel like your body isn't cooperating. I will be sending positive thoughts your way and keeping my figures crossed for you that soon you will get that positive!

I have my fingers crossed for you, marykgrove heartbeat.gif

I can relate to the ache - we weren't even ttc and I very suddenly felt it a month ago. I can't imagine how it must feel when you've been trying - I really hope you get good news soon.

BFN today at 11DPO. crap.gif I know it's not over until AF appears but it still feels like there's no hope for this cycle left. I guess it's only our first cycle so I shouldn't complain but I still find myself feeling bummed!

I also tested on friday ( Around 11DPO) and it was a BFN. Do you feel any different than usual? I feel alot of pulls and alot of CM and by now im usually dry. AF is supposed to be due tomorrow so if nothing by tomorrow night Im gonna test again tuesday. Which should be 15 dpo and there will be no questions if I test negative.

After worsening lower back pain, sore breasts, and terrible acne, I decided to test this morning at 10 DPO (I also tested at 7 and 9). This time, it was a BFP!!!

The line is faint, but definitely there. I'm nervous - it's SO early - but really excited as well!

So, I got my cross hairs today so I am officially in my 2WW!  As I said in some other threads, I am not very hopeful for this month since our BDs didn't line up very well with O.  We started BDing too early, since it was my first month TTC I wasn't sure what would happen.  What happened was we couldn't do it every time we wanted to, it just didn't happen.  We are used to once a week and doing it every other day was exhausting for us both.  Lesson learned, but unfortunately learned during my peek fertile times, so I only got 1 BD in before O and a couple after, I am crossing my fingers one of those will work, but like I said, I am not too hopeful for this month.  I will do better next month!!

Here is my chart by the way: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/352915 Feel free to add it to the top with my name :)

Monday check in a little late this week because I am traveling with DH for the week. :)

Date: 8/23

Chart: Not charting right now but started checking my CM on Sunday

Where are you in your cycle: Good question! I think I might be O today or tomorrow. . . or I could even be at 1-3DP0. headscratch.gif

Appointments: none

Symptoms if they apply: My breasts have been sensitive and I have been feeling just a tiny bit of cramping.

Testing: Sept. 6th. Can you please move me to 2WW? Thank you!

Thoughts: So I know this is me being crazy and fretting, but I checked my CM on Sunday and with the help of you all, figured that it was fertile, which made sense since I had guessed that I would O on Monday or Tuesday (yesterday or today). BUT checked my CM yesterday and it was cloudy, not stringy at all, and also more on the sticky side then slippery EW. greensad.gif Today, still a little cloudy more slippery then yesterday but not stringy. I guess I am just starting to worry that I won't O this month at all. We have been having sex every 12 hours since I finished my period and we plan to continue to do that until I test on the 6th, so whenever I do O we should catch it, but still it is making me fret. Obsessive, right? winky.gif I am trying not to vocalize my stress too much to friends and family (partially because I haven't told a lot of people that we are ttc) because I feel like unless you are also ttc it is hard to realize how easy it is to fret over little signs. I guess what I am trying to say is THANK YOU, all of you for being here to listen to my fretting!

Hi ladies-  I would love to be added to this group!

Monday (sorry I'm a day late!) Check-In
Name:
Traci, age 27 (DH is 30)

Date: Aug. 23, 2011
Chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/tracischart

Where are you in your cycle: CD 7 (I usually O on day 15 or 16)
Appointments: None
Symptoms if they apply: N/A
Testing: N/A
Thoughts: This will be our first cycle TTC baby #2.  I'm not expecting it to happen right away since it took 6 months TTC baby #1, and it seems I have a short luteal phase this time around.  DS will turn 3 in December and I know he would be a wonderful big brother!  We are excited to possibly add to our family!

Me (28), DH (31), DS1 (3), and brand new DS2 just born in Sept!

Will always remember our angel babies - Jan 2008 and Nov 2011

GradStudent13 - 2 things I think: 1, since you guys are BDing so much, it may be possible that your CM is getting mixed with his seminal fluid and confusing the results, I know I had issues determining which was which and we were BDing every other day. 2, I have heard BDing every other day is best, as the sperm needs to build up or something, I am not sure every 12 hours is that good, but maybe someone else can jump in with their opinion.  Every other 12 hours every day is a LOT lol!

Gradstudent_ Im with Anna, I am not sure every 12 hours is good at all, it could just result in very little or no viable sperm for the entire time you were BDing, as it takes between 24 and 48 hours for sperm to regenerate.  I know its different, but I breed dogs and only do matings 48 hours apart, as then you have a good concentration of healthy, viable sperm to do the fertilisation.  I dont meen to make you panick, but go slow on the good stuff, and if you have to BD, he must just keep it in!  Good luck

I am 28 and a Show Dog Handlerdog2.gif from Cape Town, South Africa, my DH is 33 and we lost our angel3.gif baby at 14.5 weeks.  I have a DDhearts.gif of 9 and a DSbiggrinbounce.gif of 4.  We are finally expecting our rainbow1284.gifbaby babyboy.gif around 2nd June 2012!

Thanks all for your help! I am trying not to freak out. :) When I saw a doctor for a preconception check up, she told me every 12 hours, but we might try pacing it more next cycle (if this cycle doesn't work out). Also, if it is going to stress me out to not know exactly if/when I am O, I should deft. try and chart.

Swelldoula: Yay!!!! Congratulations! It doesn't matter that your stay was short, just share the wealth!

GradStudent: I agree that it is easy to get semen and cm confused. One book I read said to do kegels several times a 6 hrs after bd, by that time the swimmers have already made it out of the vagina and it will clear out any seminal fluid so as not to be confused the next time you check cm. I also agree that every 12 hours seems like a lot. For low sperm count every other day is recommended, but every day should be fine for those with average sperm counts. That being said DH and I dtd every other day for 3 months with no bfp and the month we dtd every day we got a positive. I think you just have to figure out what works for you two and how you work together. If there was an exact formula we would have all gotten bfps our first shot.

Hi ladies :)
I'm hoping you'll make an age exception, and let me join you... I'm 19 (AND A HALF!) and there's no "group" for my specific age.
I've been pregnant twice - had a son at 17 (placed him for adoption, long story.), and miscarried in January 2010 (both "surprise" pregnancies due to me being stupid about charting)
I'm in my second cycle of dedicated charting, and I'm really enjoying getting to know my body and how it works :)
My chart is here: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/JelloPanda
We're not so much "trying", but more just kind of letting things happen as they happen, while still charting... if that makes any sense? eyesroll.gif

ETA:
Name: JelloPanda - age 19
Date: 8/24/2011
Chart: It's up there ^^
Where are you in your cycle: CD 17, 3DPO
Appointments: None
Symptoms if they apply: none yet. I'm very ... "thorough" with symptom spotting, though :P
Testing: I'm hoping to hold off until AF is late, but... pshh. I'll probably give in as soon as I "feel" pregnant.
Thoughts: I'm fairly scared of everyone thinking I'm "too young" for this.

Oh, and I'm TTC#2.  I'd love to be added to the list :)
