I'm on CD30 (but only 7 DPO), and nausea and fatigue hit me yesterday afternoon, and has come and gone for the last 24 hours. I didn't have any morning sickness with my first, so I'm not sure whether to blame this on a bad Qdoba lunch yesterday, a stomach bug, or pregnancy... I'm not an obsessive POAS-er, so I'll probably wait another 5 days or week- but it will be a long week, if this keeps up! Yuck.

(I just saw I'm listed in Waiting to O. Can I be moved to TWW? Also, DS is 11 mo, now)

I'm about 4dpo and I'm hoping we caught that egg!  We had relatives staying with us for Thanksgiving, so we didn't get as many BDs in as we would have hoped, but we did have one perfect timed BD so I am hopeful. :)  We are in the Bay Area this weekend so I'll start testing when we get back on Tues (9 dpo).  Here's my new stats: 6 months TTC, 5 PPAF, DD 19 months and still loving the boob. :)

Married since 4/2004 treehugger.gif mom to DSkid.gif6/2008, DD bf.gif 4/2010 and one on the way.  52 project challenge: 16/52

moonstones: Any sign of O today? I can't recall...do you usually O on the "late" side?

HopefulJo: nausea and fatigue are good!!

gardenbell: I hope you caught it too! I'm 3DPO so we'll likely test around the same time! I think I'll try and wait until 10 or 11dpo though....depending on if I have any symptoms winky.gif I tend to feel pregnant early on.

Ava's Mama: Big hugs to you. I'm sorry AF showed up. greensad.gif You sure have a great LP though! I bet it won't be long before you get your bfp...

Afm: 3DPO! My temp has stayed up so I started the progesterone suppositories last night. Not the nicest thing I've ever done. If I'm pregnant I can look forward to 10-12 weeks of it! As I said, I hope to wait until at least 10DPO, preferably 11DPO before I test. I have no internet tests left so I'll have to invest in a more expensive one so I don't want to test too early! We'll be out of town the weekend I'll test...it would be fun to find out I'm pregnant while away on a mini vacation smile.gif

ETA: My updated stats are: 5 months TTC, 8 pp AF and my DD just turned 23 months!

I am still here.... waiting for my first PPAF.  I am getting a little frustrated as AF returned at 13 months with DD1 and still no signs.... DD2 is 15 months tomorrow.  Not feeling happy about this.  I  like the spacing with the 2 girls and would like to try for that again.... Don't have too much  time though.  Took 3-4 cycles to regulate after DD1 and that long until I ovulated.  Hoping it will come back quicker this time.  Want to be pregnant by February....

Any insight?

Ava's Mama - So sorry AF showed up. I totally thought that one was it for you!

Amydiane - Welcome to the group!

Chloe'sMama - I used Vitex to get my cycle back and I ovulated within 2 weeks of starting it, then my AF started a week after that.

AFM - I'm only two days post-AF and I've had egg whites both days. I'm pretty surprised and really hoping this means I'll O earlier than 21 days this time!

Hey y'all!! Can you believe it's December? We are just driving on our way home from an extended Thanksgivig vacation so I thought it was the perfect time to drop in!

Ava's mom: so sorry about AF. But hopefully having such a great LP will help and you will get pregnant thing time around! You'll conceive rig around Christmas! Fun! :)

Gardenbel: I hope you caught it too! Ovulating around holidays can be so frustrating!

Hopeful Jo: I hope these are good signs and nOt a bad lunch!! Sending hopeful vibes!!

Afm: i'm 10 dpo and just trying to make it without over thinking it. I'm not too hopeful. My LP is normally 11 or 12 days. I plan to wean my ds this cycle if I don't get pregnant which I am super heart broken about but I wan to get pregnant! If only it was easier :)

Ii'm wishing everyone a fertile December!!!! :)

Hey Everyone - Cd2 here, so not much to report.  Yes, my LP is very good, so I certainly can't complain about that.  I started my homeopathic progesterone today, so hopefully that will be the tool that will get me my sticky bean this month.  My uterus and heart are aching for a baby.  I have three friends having babies very soon, so I am going to hold them as much as possible and hope that also helps get a baby in my uterus!  I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Hey everyone! CD9 here. I did a really bad thing. I forgot my tampon was in for 5 whole days. I never use them anymore but did last Sunday to go swimming. I thought my period just vanished after 3 days, which was weird! Anyway when i finally discovered it, obviously i took it out and i checked online for possible symptoms of whatever could come of something like that, and i don't think i have any of them, so i am lucky. But it does kind of stick in my head that what if i have an infection sans symptoms and it spreads to my uterus or ovaries or fallopian tubes, which can happen. So i think i might go in on Monday and get checked out by my doctor just to be on the safe side. I was so hoping this was our month to conceive, so i hope everything is okay! I am getting really fertile signs already, so i wonder if i'm going to ovulate sooner than usual. I need to buy some opks tomorrow and get on that. Using preseed this month, (got pregnant with DD first time using it, haven't used it since) and hoping it makes the difference this month!

Can't wait to hear about all the December BFPs coming up!!!!!

My BFP chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/389e31

Me (40) DH (37) DD (24months) still breastfeeding around the clock. Planning another home birth with our second, due in September.

Mittens  that is insane! I am glad you aren't feeling any symptoms but it probably won't hurt to get it checked out.

AFM: I know i already posted today but i am just in a funk and this is my venting board. So skip if you don't want to hear me complain. *You have been warned* ;) Okay, so randomly at night i will take my temp because i find it is pretty similar to my morning temp and it was dropped almost down to baseline (coverline). And i am just so sad. I have decided that after this month i will wean my son but it breaks my heart and as he sat there falling asleep and cuddling in while nursing from my breast it just breaks my heart. Someone tell me it's okay? I don't want to wait any longer. I really want to get pregnant. I know that may sound dumb. Especially here. And i loved loved loved nursing my son til after 2 years... but i was pregnant then. I just feel empty. I love my children more than anything in this world, but i get this nagging feeling that someone else is waiting for us and it's just getting so strong that i just don't want to wait. I guess i am worried somehow my ds2 will stop loving me or being my little Momma's Boy (how i love that). Has anyone else ever weaned to get pregnant? And i know that i might not still. And then the problem is most likely my husband... but i think i very well might (with my first i had a copper IUD that really "messed" me up... though apparently it worked).

Hello all! Just a quick update. I'm still waiting for the first PP egg. DD is now almost 15 months. I'm really trying to be patient, but I'm getting less so every day.

Chloe'sMama: I don't have any insight, but I can relate! Frustrating.

Okay, so everyone should be updated up to this point. I'm glad there wasn't much updating these last few days. I have absolutely SWAMPED!! I sing in a local choir and we had a concert last night. There were 120 of us singing Handel's Messiah with the local symphony. It was a huge undertaking (IMO) and we've been out late practicing every night for the last three. Crazy. My poor DS has been missing his mama!! So here I am and very glad that's over.  wool.gif  ( I couldn't find a relieved smiley face, so a jump-roping sheep will do. Ha!)

Mittens - I am so glad you are okay after that! I'd definitely be getting checked out, too.

Kelantan - I sure know what you mean! This is only my second PP cycle, but I've got the baby bug bad! I haven't been TTC long enough to consider weening DS, but I think I would if this takes too long. I'd say if I'm not pregnant after TTC for six months, I'll probably actively work on weening. I don't see anything wrong with it at all. In the literature I've read, they only recommend extended breastfeeding if both parties are comfortable with it. It's all about what's right for you and your nursling, so I encourage you not to feel guilty about your decisions.

Northwoods - I was getting impatient when I hadn't had my first PPAF as DS turned 15 months. I decided to take Vitex since I read it can start AF in nursing women. I Oed and started my first PPAF within two weeks of starting it. Just thought I'd share.

AFM - I'm CD 10 with nothing new to report. I'm really hoping for an earlier O than CD 21, but I haven't changed our nursing patterns from last month so don't expect much. I'd just really love to have an answer by Christmas. If I can O about two days sooner, I'd be 11 DPO at Christmas and that's how I far I was for my first BFP. I am taking two new supplements this time around -- B-complex and D-3 -- and I'm not taking Vitex. I want to see if Vitex possibly delayed my O last time. I'm also drinking green tea, as someone on another board saw a study that women who drink green tea regularly have been shown to be very fertile. I'm trying to drink a cup a day, but it's not my favorite so I forget sometimes. Good luck to any ladies who might be Oing soon and others waiting for that BFP!

Starlight: Thank you for all the sweet and encouraging words! I am still kind of blindly hopeful that it was an implantation drop... but i am feeling kinda rollercoaster (better one second, and worse another) about weaning. It's nice to feel more support! AND i did VITEX for 3 months and it actually lengthened my cycle back to 42 days (i was finally on a 30 day cycle when i started) and SUPER delayed my ovulation. I was in the last 20's. SO annoying! So i stopped taking it and this month i am back to a 32 day cycle and ovulated right on schedule. I also had the MOST FERTILE EWCM this month. It lasted for a FULL WEEK (rare for me) and was the most fertile i have seen. Hopefully the same goes for you! GOOD LUCK!!! dust.gif

I'm sorry you're feeling down. Complain away! That's why we're here :)

I wanted to TTC when my DD turned 1 but my cycles didn't return until she was 13 months old and then my LP was too short for about 3 months before we started again. She has just naturally started nursing less and my cycles are pretty regular and "normal" again now with no need for weaning. When she was 18 months old we sort of nightweaned.....which for us, meant cutting out the 1 nursing session she was still having at night and it was really just a non-event with very little fuss. I'm (newly!) 41 so we were anxious to start trying again. I think if you have more time, I bet your DS will just naturally start nursing less rather than completely weaning and your fertility will be back to normal in no time. How old is your DS2? If he's older and not nursing much, the nursing may not even be affecting your fertility. It's a hard decision and you have to do what is right for you and your family but just keep remembering that your DS2  will only be at this stage for such a short time :) I know you probably know that as you obviously went through it with your DS1! :) Good luck!

So, the nausea and fatigue were apparently due to a weird virus that's going around- mine went away in a day & a half, DH got it this weekend, and I found out our friends both had it last weekend. DH was convinced I was pregnant, though, for a couple days! Also, AF showed up Saturday, which makes for a 9 day LP (or is it 7? Do you count the day you O? Do you count the day AF starts?). Regardless, not good news. Since we're not trying super-hard right now, it's fine, I guess, and good to know. I'll continue to track it, since this was only my 2nd PP cycle. Stephanie, can you change me to Waiting to O, 2 PPAF, DS 11mo, 2 month TTC?

So i stopped taking it and this month i am back to a 32 day cycle and ovulated right on schedule. I also had the MOST FERTILE EWCM this month. It lasted for a FULL WEEK (rare for me) and was the most fertile i have seen. Hopefully the same goes for you! GOOD LUCK!!!

I am not doing Vitex this time either. My O was on day 21 last cycle, which is about a week delayed for me. I thought I'd try this time without Vitex, since so many have said they've had it delay their ovulation. I'm kind of second-guessing this decision, since it's what got my cycles started back up in the first place, but we'll see. I'm on CD 11 now, so we'll see in a couple of days what happens.

HopefulJo - I'm so sorry AF found you this weekend. That nausea totally had me convinced for sure. In general you don't count O-day or the day AF shows up as part of your LP. My LP is only 7 days as well. I'm hoping for a few days extension this second cycle.

AFM - Last night was a BAD night. DS wanted to nurse all night, which I did NOT want to do, so he'd fuss when I unlatched him and rolled over. I took my temp the first time I woke, but when I checked it this morning it was way high, so I'm disturbing it. I'm nowhere near O, so I know it's not that. Ugh. It's gonna be a long day.

I had a crazy wave of nausea and almost passed out tonight! It was so exciting! lol I've also been having lots of cramping/pinching on and off all day. Of course, it's likely just the progesterone but it's still exciting ;)

Carmen: That sounds kinda scary! Hopefully that means it is working though!

AFM: I guess i no longer belong over here. greensad.gif I am just starting to wean (which i am doing cold turkey for my own emotional sake). My son seems pretty okay with it. I think i am taking it WAY harder than him. We had our "last nursing" last night and i bawled and bawled and bawled but it's been 8 months TTC and i am ready to start something new. No doctor around here will take me seriously until i wean. One of those weighing the pros and cons and weaning wins. Luckily, my little guy still cuddles and gives me loves like before, so i think it will all be okay!

So i am hoping now for a BFP at some point. And looking forward to another baby and nursing again! Maybe next time i can go til 2 years at least again! Thank you all for your support and best of luck!

Sending you all dust.gif And wishing you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

Kelantan - I hope you're able to get pregnant SOON! Please don't feel you have to leave; we'd still love to have you.

AFM - Well, the saliva scope I ordered the other day may get here too late. I've started to get a faint line on my OPK, so it's looking like I may O a whole week earlier this cycle! Woohoo!! joy.gif

Starlight: Thanks for the insight on the Vitex. I'd be interested if you decide to take it again this time around.

AFM: I've started on Vitex to see if it helps to bring my cycles back. I'll keep y'all posted on how it goes. My fingers are crossed for dropping an egg soon!

Oh really? I can stay!joy.gif Then i will! I love talking to all of you and going through this together. My darling husband is a saint, but he just doesn't completely get it. :)

Basic update then: CD 2 (blah!) 8 month TTC, 6 PPAF, ds 16 months.  Just in the weaning time. My son is still doing great. He was willing to settle for cuddles and no milk. We had a beautiful final nursing last night and it gave me a sense of peace. This is so not easy {i'm sure you all know} but i am hopeful for the future...whatever it holds. I'm still just the luckiest Momma. I have to remind myself that sometimes.

Off to relax and sleep... i've been hit by a terrible cold! Sicknesses are my least favorite thing about winter!

carmen358 - You are too funny! I'm not sure how excited I'd be to be nauseated. LOL I hope it's a good sign!

kelantan - Yay! I'm so happy you're going to stick around. And I'm also glad you are finding peace with your decision and it sounds like DS is taking it well. What a sweety!

gardenelle - So....did you do the HPT?? Sheepish.gif

AFM - Today is shaping up to be a pretty awesome day. I set the alarm early to get online and get a free Victoria Secret gift card from their FB page. It took me half an hour of reloading, but I did get a $10 card. Yay! Before I even got my computer on, DH came home with a peppermint mocha, so that was certainly a plus. Then I got a positive OPK!! Yay! That means I'm hopefully gonna ovulate a whole week earlier than last cycle! I'm just hoping that means my LP will be longer than 7 days this time. I'm so excited!!! joy.gif

Thanks, starrlight!

I'm 9DPO but I'm not very hopeful since I've been having cramps on and off since yesterday.  My LP has mostly been around 8 days since AF returned this time.  It was around 9 days when we conceived DD, so even though it's definitely on the short side, I wasn't too worried at first.  I was taking 100-200mg of B6 to help lengthen it this time, but then I read on Kellymom that the max for nursing is 25mg, so I stopped.  Of course that month we had great timing and then I had a 7 day LP. banghead.gif So I was so mad and disappointed that we took the next month off, and of course then I had a 10 day LP.  That was last month, so I don't know if it's going to stay longer or what yet.  But like I said, I suspect I'll be seeing AF tonight or tomorrow. :(

Good Morning!

Well, I took this month off from the group. And it worked. 11 DPO and very faint, but there, second line. I'm cautiously hopeful.

Also, I gagged at a funny smell in the pet food aisle at Costco the other day. I don't have a sensitive nose or weak stomach and *knew* that had to be it. :D
