I have no idea if im psyching myself out with my strong want too get pregnant as fast as possible but im newly off birth control, just a few weeks. (ortho try-cyclen lo) my last period was very light, light even too be just spotting over 5 days time. its now 18 days into my cycle (no idea how long my cycle is supposed too be but last time I checked before I was on birth control it was either 31 or 32 days. On cycle day 16th I woke up too extreme nausea, threw up 7 times in 4 hours with no other sign of sicking an wasnt food poisoning.
I was pregnant before that ended in a miscarriage at 13 weeks in 2010, and the symptoms were exactly the same in early pregnancy, I just don't know if its possible that I could have gotten pregnant and shown symptoms on cycle day 16 or if I was lucky enough too have my birth control fail just before hand. OR if im just imagining it cause I wanna believe it XD
sorry for my babbling, but any help would be awesome!
I think you will need to wait a bit longer, unless you really think you got pregnant on your last pack of BCPs. If you take a test, it would likely be negative for this cycle since it is still early but could be positive from last cycle if you were pregnant.

It is certainly possible that the spotting you had was not a period and you are in fact pregnant. It can happen. If that were the case you would get accurate results on an HPT by now. So definitely test.
But most likely what you experienced was annovulatory bleeding as your body regulated off the BC. If you are ovulating, it would likely be around CD12-20 and very unlikely that you would be having pregnancy symptoms from this cycle. I'll also throw out there that stomach bugs can come out of nowhere and disappear just as quickly. The vast majority of vomiting like that is from food poisoning. So hard to say.
Some women can take up to a year to regulate off of BC, so it could take a bit for you to start ovulating again and have a fertile length LP or it might not! Charting can really help clarify what's going on.

I had a light period this cycle (cd1-cd5/6), it was actually mostly "old" blood in the beginning (TMI), which was really weird, then I had like 3 spots of bright red/pink on CD8 (It actually ended up on the toilet seat and didn't notice it till after I washed my hands)... so I definitely had a weird start to my cycle.
I haven't used the BCP myself because I don't like to take prescriptions, but it sounds like to me your cycle may be regulating or just being weird, like myself.
when in doubt, take a test
