It's my first cycle TTCing since my miscarriage in June. So the gist of it is my period is late but pregnancy tests have been negative, and I'm confused???

I ovulated on day 16. I'm currently on CD 31. This NEVER happens, my cycles are always 28 or 29 days. Pregnancy tests have been negative. I've had some signs of my period the last two days, cramping, zits, very light spotting (like a tiny tinge of brown on the paper towel). What on earth is going on!!! I can't take this not knowing.

It's possible that my luteal phase was lengthened because the first 10 days of my cycle I drank red raspberry tea 2x a day. Could that be it?

I'm like 90% certain I'm NOT pregnant, because of all the period signs (it's too late for this spotting to be implantation spotting, am I right?)

I'm totally OK with TTC taking a handful of tries, because I'm not on a timeline like I was before or anything and I'm relatively young (30). But I'm just frustrated because it's the weekend and I want to drink booze and eat sushi :)

thoughts? moral support?? Sorry this is disjointed, I'm just out of patience at the moment.

Also, second question: I have been doing paper charting for 5 years, I just have a system that works for me, but I'm wondering if now I should step up my game and get some sort of TTC-oriented charting iPhone app. Any recommendations?

Happily married for 5 years. Tried for our first baby 6/2011, got preg right away, and miscarried. Took a 4 month break, and then had nothing but infertility & a few early miscarriages until 12/2012 when we learned I had a lumpy edge in my uterus. Doc removed it and now we are trying again....

I am answering the bit about the app - since I'm pretty sure you have had several cycles since you posted this. LOL

I use the Fertility Friend iPhone companion app which will sync up with your Fertility Friend account - it is the Free Menstrual Calendar (I think) and is simple, but useful. :)

Hi Daurelia, re apps, my friend recommended 'my days- period and ovulation' to me which i have used the past 4 mos. I used to do the paper charting method as well. I find this app easy to use, allows me to enter period start and end dates as well as weight , temperature, mood and bld flow. it tracks and predicts your period, ovulation and fertile days. I find it accurate so far. And its free.

hang in there and good luck girl!
