I need a little input, First I am thrilled to announce that we are expecting a new bundle sometime this late November!! We couldnt be happier...but...
I had my progesterone tested and it was VERY low. 7.9!!
My GP (who made it perfectly clear he is not treating my pregnancy because he doesnt do OB) put me on 200mg of Prometrium once daily.
I have been taking this for four days now. Things were going well, but starting the night before last, I noticed when I wipe, there was a tinge on the paper. Not pink, not red, just not white or clear. Today it is darker...kinda a pale tan?
My question, can the prometrium change the chemsty of my mucus? There no "flow" per say, and I talked to my midwife. We had a miscarriage before Zach, and it took us over a year to conceive him. My levels were low with him as well, and required supplements also. Does anyone have any insight or experience with this? I have been finding a few mainstream sites that say this is normal, but its sites like "the bump" *puke*
I dont feel any cramping or pain....any twitch or pain I do feel and get freaked out about turns out to be gas and will pass.
I havent been working out, and havent had sex in a week. Just normal mild activity around the house, dishes, laundry, playing with my 18 month old...
I just cant get past the worry!!

Congratulations!!

Yes, progesterone suppositories often make it look like you have an "orange-ish" discharge. I see it a tiny bit when I've used them and my acupuncturist (who works with IVF clinics) said her clients tell her that they see it all the time (they are often worried about it) and that's it's completely normal.

Got bloodwork and progesterone was 12.sometjing...2 days latet it was down to 8.26..my ob gave me oral progesterone 100mg a day. i was ob for 3 days and have a pinkish peach discharge. called doc and had.me.come in this morning for more blood work. told.me this afternoon my progesterone is up to 11.46 and hcg levels are in 3500s. to be safe she up'd oral progesterone to 200mg a day and said i am doin great. i am guessing ...although i dont know for sure...that it is connected w the.meds. hope this helps...i know just reading your.message calmed me a bit. :-)

Hi Mommysoon!!

I just wanted to let you know that I had a really stressful start to my pregnancy, but I am 6 months along, and everything is GREAT!!  Baby is kicking strong, and I feel fantastic:)
Dont stress, and know that I found lots of Moms that has the same issues with progesterone.  I still check the tp every time I wipe, just to make sure, but I honestly dont think that will stop until the baby is born.
Take care of your self and that new babe growing so fast:)
I send sticky dust!!
