Hi All, just FYI - I am x-posting this...
So, DH and I have three wonderful children. I have had three unevenful pregnancies and three c-sections. The third, however, was def harder to recover from -I assume because I was older. We decided to have Dh get a Vasectomy to make things easier and I just didnt want to have another C-section, not to mention that I tend to stress while pg. I didnt want to go through all of that. But, almost as soon as it was done I regretted it. We have run through all feelings and options regarding the vasectomy, not having more children, adopting, and now we are on to the route that seems the best - a vasectomy reversal. However, it is expensive and of course not without risks. I am just wondering if anyone here is trying to conceive after a reversal or was able to. Any side effects? Any info will be greatly appreciated.
DH had a vas reversal, after 10 years, 16 months ago. Both sides were the more complicated VE procedure. So far no luck for us babywise, but it definetly inmproved "other areas" DH had some swelling for awhile. He said VR wasn't much worse than the V. I do think it was worth it and we are still hoping it works out. There is a good size group on babycenter for ttc after vas reversal: http://community.babycenter.com/groups/a670695/trying_to_conceive_after_vasectomy_reversal
Sorry, for such a short relpy.
