I ovulated on Tuesday, now on Thursday, I am having O type pains in the area that I normally have O pains when I am O'ing. I am back to having sticky CM with a closed cervix. What gives?? I know my body pretty well but am confused by this. It is too late for O pain but too early for implantation pain.
Off the top of my head:
1) Maybe you geared up to ovulate, but didn't - either you will, you did two days late, or this will be anovulatory. Hard to say for sure until the cycle is over and you see how long your luteal phase was.
2) You released a small amount of blood when you ovulated (when the egg is released) and it irritated your reproductive track, causing some cramping after ovulation
3) It's unrelated to ovulation and some other type of cramping
4) Possibly you ovulated twice, but you don't usually do that two days apart
That's all I got.
