Welcome to another week! TwighlightJoy has graciously offered to take over the thread, but is also willing to let someone else take the reigns if you are interested. Let me know if you're interested, otherwise I will turn it over to her next week!

Good luck to those testing this week!  goodvibes.gif

Thanks for the new thread!

So, in my world... I'm 10 DPO. I POAS this morning. Wondfo test was BFP!!! love.gif FRER was BFN. greensad.gif

So, what do you think that means?

I waited a few hours and took another Wondfo- another BFP, but very faint. FRER was still neg after an hour. What do you think it means? I've googled false positives with Wondfos and it seems to be pretty common.

Click to see the pics bigger.

Top is yesterday's BFN. Second is today's FMU. Third is today's SMU. Fourth is an OPK, just for comparison.

And here's the BFN FRER.

TwilightJoy I wouldn't worry. I have no experience with Wondfos, but on FRERs I didn't get BFP until 13DPO with my DD.

Hi - Please move me to Waiting to O. Sad but still hopeful about conceiving soon. This means I have another cycle to stress out about losing a little weight. I am 20 pounds over my heaviest comfortable weight. I have given up sugar as of today (I don't care about it, just a bad habit I got into and such an easy way to put on weight) and I am going to do a Fat Flush detox for the next week and maybe for a little while longer, just without the juice fasting because I want to cleanse gently. Last time I did it I lost 10 pounds of crud that was lurking in my intestines.

I went to a hotsprings today and got a massage. Then I had sushi with real RAW fish. That is how I soothe myself when I get AF. Expensive habit.

I think it is time to start temping again, so I can really assess my LP. Time to dig out the digi. Sigh.

Love to all you ladies! Happy baby making and peaceful waiting!

Looks promising TwighlightJoy! Fx'd for you.

So... now with TwighlightJoy's pending BFP, it looks like we need another volunteer for threadkeeper. Now that I'm officially in the second semester of my pregnancy, I would really like to pass on this duty to someone who is going to be more active on this board. It's an easy job - possibly 5-10 minutes of upkeep each week. If you're tech-savvy enough to post on this forum (with smiley faces & links), then you have more than enough knowledge to take over as thread keeper. I'd really like to make the transition by the end of the week, so please let me know.

Hello ladies, back from my little break. Just was very disappointed to not get a BFP like I thought I would last cycle. I'm feeling better, but cautious of getting my hopes up too high again. Maybe lots of BDing is in order, will be good fun if nothing else wink1.gif Thanks again for all the support and welcome to those I missed seeing last week!

TwilightJoy, thanks for volunteering to take over the threads. I would think it means your one test brand is much more sensitive, hopefully over the next few days the other brand shows positive too. Those are very clear positives though so congratulations!

analily, I had some sushi last night myself and I plan to have a beer or two in the next day or so, it's good to focus on the little positives of not being pregnant.

You can add me to the WTH is going on category.

I know I just went off BC so it's going to be weird but I'm at cycle day 32 and have no idea what's going on and my body is trolling me with mixed signals; fertile cm but decreased temp and possibly not ideal cervical placement and tenderness (then again I literally have nothing to compare it to so I just marked it medium on all levels).  No signs of AF like my PMS migraine week or strategically placed boob lump.  Maybe I O'd, maybe I didn't.  Maybe I should take a test, maybe that'd just waste money.  No idea.

I guess DH and I will just have to DTD as much as possible and hope something sticks.  Oh darn.

But seriously, it would be nice to have some idea what was going on.

Sorry to hear about the BFN. Enjoy that beer!

I am thinking about starting EPO. I took it one cycle last time and it seemed to work immediately. Then I took a little too much and it upset my stomach so I stopped. For those who take it, what dose did you start with and what do you take now? Any side effects?

I guess I am on the TTC bandwagon fully now because I am firing up y thermometer and ordering Wondfos online today. I just love to know what is going  on. whistling.gif

I guess I'm Waiting to O. IUD has been out for about a month and a half, I'm on CD 7 so I have at least a week before I O, I think. My cycles before Ela were 30 days long, but this last one was only 28. I'm not temping or anything, but planning to track CM.

Thank you so much for your kind words and support ladies. I'm just giddy excited. Please be sending positive thoughts/prayers for a sticky baby and then a healthy baby! I'm still having uterus twinges, yesterday they started being more crampy and uncomfortable. It's like my uterus is saying hi to the baby! heartbeat.gif

AmandaLynn it can take a while to get your cycle back. Thisamight be an anovulatory time. Lots of advice in Taking Charge Of Your Fertility. If I were you, I'd take a cheap dollar store test (very accurate actually ) once a week just to be sure and wait for a positive or a period. Consider the wait time as a chance to practice charting. I'm told if you get down every other or every third day, you have a great shot of getting pregnant, even if you don't chart. Of course, that only works if you ovulate.

Hows everyone in 2 week wait? I'm optimistic. Sore boobs, sick, tired tired tired and my temp is maaaybe triphasal. I feel like crap! Hooray! Fingers crossed! I had bfn Monday but I've never had a positive that early. I was just SURE I might this time!

TWILIGHTJOY I'm so excited for you. You got your bfp pretty early! joy.gif Pleeeease don't stress about mc. Coming from someone who just recently had one, whatever happens, you want to look back at this time as blissfully happy. Regret and fear and worry can really taint our memories and I believe that whatever we experience, we should experience fully, without fear. Also everything will be FINE and you will be holding a healthy baby in May, I am sure. Yay!

AmandaLynnH, I know I have at least one wonky cycle when I go off BC, it isn't uncommon to take a month or two or three to get back on track. Hopefully things settle down for you! And as far as cervical checks, yeah you have to do them for a cycle at least before you can really understand what is high/med/low, etc. Once you figure it out it's easier!

anyalily, thanks I will enjoy my beer(s)! Haven't done EPO, hopefully others have some good advice for you.

TwilightJoy, sending sticky baby vibes your way goodvibes.gif And I totally feel you on wanting to go register and tell everyone right away. For our first, I didn't test until the day after AF was due, but once I got that positive, DH was on amazon ordering baby furniture and we were picking out names (which we later changed) and we ended up telling our immediate families right away too. I ended up telling my boss pretty soon after as I was SO TIRED my first trimester that I wanted him to know why I might be napping at my desk. I think its best to not tell the whole world until a little later, but I think it can be good to share sooner with trusted close friends/family, the kind of people that if a miscarriage did happen would be there with support.

LittleKind, crossing my fingers for you!

Trying to be patient. No phantom symptoms for me so far, except for the jabbing pain I had on Saturday night at 4 DPO. I'm not really discouraged, though, because I don't remember having symptoms with DD before I found out. My chart does look on its way to being triphasic, though at 7 DPO it's really too early to tell I think. Again, trying to be patient. Plan to test Friday; if it's BFN then I will test all weekend too (AF is due Monday), but hopefully will be distracting by out of town plans.

I took a FRER fertility test this morning, since I got one free in a box a while back and it was day 3 of my cycle. It looked like a nice "fertile" reading, with a very very light line. Has anyone else taken these? I guess they test for FSH. So what does it mean - that I have good eggs? Is it bad to get a faint line rather than none at all? Background: I am 30 and have been menstruating since 11, and I have about 14 cycles a year. Does that mean I will go through an earlier menopause, because I have more cycles a year and started so early? I am not worried about infertility per se, but I am just in learning mode.

A positive note - I think I had a 12-13 day LP this cycle, just based on cervical position. I am starting to temp this cycle but I am waiting for a new thermometer because my old one is broken.

At what point do you get your partner's swimmers checked? He has always had a seemingly low volume of *ahem, does that mean his count would necessarily be lower?

Hello, new to this group, have 5 yo ds and haven't been on mdc in years. Been unofficially ttc off and on for awhile. Saw the re today gave him a definite on ttc. Unfortunately I'm on cd 77 and so will be getting a bit of pharmaceutical assistance. eyesroll.gif I'm excited and nervous to tackle this so add me to waiting to O!

ETA: anaylilly. Good luck with the sugar fast. I did the same when they were thinking I had pcos. It was tough but wow did I start feeling better after 2-3 weeks. Keep it up!

Hi Jaxxy, welcome! I am working on adding you to the list, but I will need MayDayMama's assistance as I did not start the thread this week. Day 77, wowza! Did they decide it is not PCOS? Sending good vibes for a nice, well-timed O!

The sugar fast is going alright. I am not eating gluten or much dairy either and the first few days of this are always hard, but I am taking care to nourish myself with good food. DH is doing it too, and he has already dropped 2 lbs. I am on AF, so I will not see any improvement for a few days.

Yay!

Thank you for your kind words. hug.gif That was just what I needed this morning. I'm working on visualizing my beautiful pregnant belly and then the baby I'm going to be snuggled up with in May.

Thank you for the sticky baby vibes! And I'm so glad I'm not the only one who wants to start registering. Lol. However, I also like that this is just a secret between DH and I now, something that (IRL) just the two of us know. partners.gif
