There is no way to know for sure that you had a chemical pregnancy unless you had gotten a positive pregnancy test and then gotten your period. The definition of a chemical pregnancy is one that can be detected by the pregnancy hormone but not seen yet on an ultrasound. PCOS does often delay your period. A late period could be caused by the PCOS or by a pregnancy.
