We are about about 6 months away from wanting to try for another child. We have two children already but this is the first one that has been SUPER planned (not just an oops or a sure let's try and see where it gets us wink1.gif )

What would/did/will your Pre-TTC list look like?

Anything from the fun (dye your hair again/travel/etc) to the practical (start prenatal vits/have a check up) is welcome and wanted!

I am having a hard time deciding what our list should look like and if I'm missing anything!?

Definitely what Kaydove said:  I might add to check ferritin, folate, and glucose ....and anything else you may have had in issue with in your last pregnancy.  Get started on a good prenatal, dha supp, and anything that you're low in.  Get an exercise program going if you don't already.  Think about lowering caffeine intake and see if there's any improvements you'd like to make to your diet and water intake.

Also have your partner get started on a good multi and exercise.

I would start charting, (temps and cm at least) to see how my cycle is looking. (clear temp shift after O, long enough luteal phase, good ewcm, etc.)  Those are really good things to trouble shoot beforehand.  Read:  "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" for all the info on that.

You could also go in for your annual exam if you're due and get up to date on dental work and/or cleanings.

I suppose if you want a piercing or tattoo now would be a good time because I believe some wont do them on pregnant women.  ;)

Best of luck to you!!!  :)

Definitely start taking folic acid three months before you actually start trying.  Charting is also a good idea because the longer you do it, the easier it is and the more info you have.  But just generally, feeling healthy is a good idea if you don't suspect you will have any problems.   Good luck!
