I swear, my body must know how badly I want a baby, so its decided to make my hormones freak out!

This month, I started my period on August 30th.  It lasted 5 days.  About a week and a half later, I started to get fertile cervical mucus, so I used those ovulation predictor urine tests (Clearblue Easy Digital).  I used the tests everyday for 7 days, and kept getting a negative result, despite still having fertile cervical mucus for a couple of days.  Last Friday, I got what I assumed was spotting that lasted for 3 days.  Then 4 days later, the spotting came back for a couple of hours.  Its been doing this every couple of days since then.  The spotting lasts about 2-3 hours, then stops. This is strange since I rarely, if ever, spot between periods.

Its getting to where I honestly can't tell when I am ovulating or not.  Even though I have been trying to stay positive and reduce stress a lot by meditating, I have been really frustrated with these symptoms all of a sudden.

What the heck is going on?!  Could this actually be hormones freaking out because I am trying to have a baby?  I have taken 3 pregnancy tests and all of them are negative, so I know I am not pregnant.
