Thanks. Actually, I had a chemical pregnancy officially as well. But, I call it an early miscarriage because it sounds better to me.  Maybe I should add the *very* before the early too. - It sucks. I just hope it doesn't happen again.

And I agree. Waiting stinks.

Hi all, kinda new here! I'm currently CD23 on my first cycle TTC after a missed miscarriage/D&C in Aug. I'm "expecting" AF on Oct 19/20, of course not knowing how my cycle has been affected by m/c is driving me crazy!! I don't chart or temp or use OPKs, right now just trying to listen to my body & BDing every 2 or 3 days to try & catch that O. No real clue what to expect, but I have tests ready for next week! We got preg so quickly the first time, that I feel like I've given myself too high of expectations to get preg quickly again. So feeling a lot of anxiety over that & trying to remind myself to relax.

By the way, reading these forums has become more comforting than I could have expected. I've become obsessed, especially because I don't feel comfortable talking about most of this with my friends & family! So I'm happy to be here!

And by the way, Congrats to Pokey!!!

hide.gif  It is 5 DPO and I caved and tested, which I know couldn't even possibly be positive. It is our first cycle officially TTC #2 and DD took 2 cycles.   I don't want to get my hopes up at all but I've been having a lot of symptoms, really bad cramping in the shower today, etc.  I think it is all just in my head though.

I know what you mean. I got pregnant *fast* with all of my kids. And my chem pregnancy last month was on cycle one of not avoiding. Didn't even BD that much. LOL

So, I have this weird feeling/expectation that I will get pregnant again right away, but then if I don't, I hope I don't end up too disappointed. I totally get what you're saying anyway. :) Glad this place is bringing you comfort.

Just thought I would check in.  AF showed up on Friday with a vengeance so my 2ww is over for this month.  I am pretty disappointed, but ready to try again in a couple of weeks:)

Dayiscoming, I'm so sorry about your chemical. :( We didn't BD that much the first time, either! Literally three times I think. I was shocked, but now that we are BDing every 2-3 days I am SUPER hopeful and will definitely start to think "what did I do wrong?" if it's a BFN. Ahh so frustrating! This TWW is killer, the days feel like they're going by so slow.

How early can an egg implant? I have read usually not until 6 DPO or later. I'm 5 DPO and feel horrible today. Crampy, hormonal, slightly nauseous. Mind you, all of those but the nausea are PMS signs for me too. I also usually I get super sore boobs before my period and mine are not sore at all right now. (my typical luteal phase is 11-12 days so yeah PMS usually starts to hit around now...but the cramps would be a few days early if it is PMS!).

An early miscarriage sounds better to me too. That is what it is after all. Hubby and I were sooooo disapointed :( I hope you conceive again soon!

I googled it yesterday because I had these terrible intense cramps at 5 DPO, and I found out that it is ever so slightly possible if the egg hatches and right away implants, but I think the chance is very low.  I am convincing myself that it couldn't have been yesterday, otherwise I'll get line eye looking at all the tests.

Nerissav you sound like me...  I'm noticing that cramping, too! I'm think I'm only 10dpo, but last time I got preg it happened on this cycle day so I'm playing mind games thinking "I have to get a BFP by today or I'm not pregnant" - it's cruel. I've already taken like 5 Wondfos and 2 FRER, studying them in the light like a scientist in a lab...  ha, I feel so ashamed to admit this!! Of course they were all neg. Time to just relax & let mother nature do her thing.

Interesting! Good plan though. I don't want to obsess but it's hard. I feel totally normal today other than I'm really tired. I have a shorter luteal phase than most, it is usually only 11-12 days and by this time I am usually a raging PMS monster (I get super sore boobs, bloat, cranky, cramp pretty bad, and tired...yeah PMS is fun for me LOL). Right now, I am tired but that's it. So it really doesn't feel like my period will be here in 5 days like usual. I know those are all pregnancy signs too, but I don't think they start until the hcg hits you which is a few days after implantation? I still have CF too which is not normal for me either.

LOL This is why I'm scared to test early! I know I'll squint and stare at it forever in the light too,  if there's no obvious line. I'm only 6 DPO so obviously no testing yet. I usually get my period at 11-12  DPO, so I was going to test Saturday at 11 DPO but I know that's still early and I think I'll obsess LOL I have like 6 tests stocked up though so I could start on 11 DPO and test every day after that.

OMG save your tests and your sanity! I've already pulled those tests out of the drawer like three times today to study again, because you know, every once in a while someone will catch an old test that was negative and now all the sudden, it's positive! Ha. I'm done testing until my period date has come & gone.... I can't take it! :)

sarahl918  I do study them in the light and then go back and look at them!  I've actually stopped using FRERs because the indent lines always look like early positives to me when they aren't.  I've just been using wondfos, which up until this morning (7 dpo) I was sure were negative and because I'm an early testing addict, I've started to see a shadow of a line that probably isn't even there.  I wish I had the strength of will to wait!

As a side note, my SIL has been driving me nuts.  I thought I had a testing problem - she tested every day from like 0 dpo to 11 dpo.  That is kind of rather pointless.  Well, I should add that what is driving me nuts is that she is asking me for more WONDFOs when I already gave her 5 this cycle.  They are cheap and she'd pay for them, but I don't want to have to go through the hassle of shipping more to Denmark.

countrymama02  I can't tell if mine are early pregnancy signs or if our bed is just getting worse and worse!  Today is 7 dpo and my luteal phase is 13 days so it would be way too early for PMS symptoms.  I don't usually get them until 2 days or so before.  I had a ton of creamy CM that was yellow, which is really unusual for me, in terms of quantity and at this point in an ovulatory cycle.   Although I think your signs are probably good!

Well, I think I am officially in the 2 WW. I thought I was before because of spotting mid-cycle I figured was O spotting, but wasn't. I have a temperature shift and if it goes on for the next 2 days I can confirm, but I never got this high of a temp and it would make sense and give me a 13 day luteal phase, which is far more normal. lol

I jumped the gun before, but now I've made it.

Too funny nerissav about your sister. Yeah, testing can drive you batty. I went through that last cycle. I had more patience with my other pregnancies. LOL Now that I have an actual idea when I ovulated and when I might test positive, I know how long I have to wait and won't be wasting my tests.

I see you aren't in DK anymore then. Must be state-side.

I realize the thermometer I'm using isn't giving me accurate temps, so unfortunately, I have no idea what's going on anymore. Blah... annoying. Don't by a temporal thermometer. I had the exergen one. - $34 thermometer, kinda makes me mad.

I just bought a basal thermometer at walmart and will start using that instead.

I'm a mouth breather and do not want to stick that in the hoo hah, so will under arm readings be accurate? I guess I'll start temping right away, though without starting at the beginning of my cycle, I won't have much to go on. Might be useful to have those reading when I go into my next cycle though.

dayiscoming2006 Unfortunately I am still in Denmark for quite some time, if not forever.  I am craving some not overcooked to the point of no longer edible meat, but that is also not going to ever happen outside my house.  eat.gif

My back is killing me today and my temperate dipped super low.  http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/1ef585/

Maybe an implantation dip?? Looks exciting!!

I'm 8 DPO as well. My luteal phase is a bit shorter than most and I PMS for a solid week lol I am usually PMSing by 5 or 6 DPO. No PMS signs yet!! Not even a pimple (I usually break out). I have been cramping on and off this whole luteal phase though? And I've been tired but I just kicked a head cold and work has been crazy busy so that could be why.

nerissav - Oh, ok. Not a big fan of DK then? I looked at your chart and it went back up. That IS exciting. :)

I'm hoping for ya countrymama, sounds possible.

Even with the not so wonderfully accurate temporal thermometer, I was able to notice a thermal shift and pretty much know when I O'd, so yey. I'm 3 dpo if my calculations are right and now the long wait...

This thread got awful quiet. I'm still waiting. I have a feeling I am pregnant based on my symptoms and I've been right every time with all my other 4 pregnancies, so most likely I'm right, but you never know. Waiting is hard to do, but I'm trying to be patient. I'm not quite as impatient as I was last month because now, I know even if I get a BFP, that doesn't mean I get a take home baby. Sad, but true. So, I'm trying to  take one day at a time.

Taking it one day at a time sounds like a great plan.  I hope your intuition is right and that this is the time you get your take-home baby.

I hate waiting lol.....I am not really experiencing my normal pms symptoms...much much less crampy....my boobs are sorer than usual though and have been for much longer.....I was kind of thinking I might be pregnant, but now I am not so sure....I had a really messed up cycle last Spring (related to my Lyme disease we think) and I am starting to fear that is what this is....If AF doesnt show up before then I will test of Friday.....hope everyone else is waiting well!

It did get quiet. I lurk here constantly and try to catch up with you all every night before I go to bed. I have missed the chatter smile.gif we are not actively trying but not actively preventing. I really want a third and feel that it will happen this year. My lp is short, though, so I will need to work on that.

There's a possibility this month but I don't feel a strong " this is it" intuition. I am four days away from AF.

Hoping for more positive news from you all joy.gif

Well I'm officially in the 2WW now so thought I'd come hang out here. 3DPO today, I'll test on November 2nd if AF hasn't arrived. I'm generally pretty good about not testing early so hope to stick with that! I hate wasting tests smile.gif

Hi. I am now on day 36 of my period. Still no BFO after many tests. I'm starting to feel pretty negative.

Yeah, on September 27th.  :(

Nice to see you all. It's easier to wait in groups. :)

I tested today and it was BFN. Surprise, surprise. (only 8 DPO) and never have gotten THAT early of a positive. Silly me. hahaha

I'll try to force myself to wait a couple more days before testing again. I think I may be able to test postive (if pregnant) around 10-12 dpo. Don't know why I had to waste a test. At least it was a wondfo and they are really cheap.

I got AF yesterday.  It started out differently than most so I had myself almost convinced that it was implantation bleeding.  This morning it's clear that it's so not implantation bleeding.  I get so disappointed every month even though I realize that getting pregnant was not necessarily my goal this month.

I understand, it's just one of those things.

Got a BFP this morning. Praying for a sticky baby.
