Mmm... I didn't mean to worry you.... But yes, I have had 6 miscarriages, and the last 4 have all been in a row. I know that it's not normal to have this happen, so please don't worry because of me. I meant it as I could well understand this kind of loss.

MamaMash - I noticed your DD is 16 months old - my DS is too, born 7/14/2011. Was your a July babe too? Would be neat if we both got our BFPs this month and ended up with little ones exactly the same age apart from each other!

Country bound, I know it will work out exactly how you need/want it to smile.gif

Thanksgiving was AWESOME and today I'm eating leftovers like CRAZY! It's all so yummy.

I hope everyone else had a great holiday.

The 30th will work out great to test, I'm due for af around the 29th, and we have a Xmas party on the 30th and cruise on dec. 8th. I'll need to know if I can be drinking!

I hope everyone had an awesome thanksgiving. I did! It's one of my favorite holidays. Yummy food and family, what more could one ask for smile.gif

Yesterday and today I've been pretty dang nauseated, more so than my usual. Almost lost it when I opened the container full of cold turkey this evening lol. Lots of CM. and, a huge zit is forming on my chin. Which could be from AF too. Trying to hold out another week to test! And, hoping all of this isn't in my head wink1.gif

So I took a first response test this morning and right away got a 2nd line but it was thin and white. Anyone ever have this happen before? If so what was the outcome?

Been working and minimally holiday-ing this week, so I'm out of the loop...trying to catch up!  :)

Last I posted, I was waiting for the 10DPO mark to start testing, but in the end I decided that since it's our first cycle TTC and it's such a long shot, I'm not going to obsess and test and drive myself nuts.  Granted, it's been at the forefront of my thoughts, but I figured throwing a bunch of negative pg tests in there too would make me really crazy.  AF is 2 days late and I'm on day 15 DPO.  I might cave today and test.  I was really nauseous the last few days and have required more sleep than any human should need ... but there's been a GI bug going around (and I work in the ER, where I'm exposed to it constantly) and being tired could just be AF.

Gee, see what a good job I'm doing of not being obsessive?

I'd say that's preeeeeeeeettty good self control!

However, I am sad to say I think I may be out. I have been getting cramps big time, and af is due in less than a week. I'm sad I feel like she is on her way greensad.gif

This waiting sucks! Good thing this week is super slammed with events to keep me busy!

Stay positive Blonhrt! You could be cramping from early pregnancy too. But, if you aren't this month I'm sure you'll concieve soon! I must say my patience is dwindling! The only thing keeping me from testing is that if I get a BFP I want to surprise my DH but he is off work this weekend.

I'm trying to stay unexcited too! I don't want to test early, get a BFN, and then have AF start and get my hopes dashed twice. But, if I do get my BFP I found a cute printable on Pinterest that says "Hi Dad. I can't wait to meet you" with a big heart on it. I'd print that out and set it on our bed along with the test smile.gif simple and cute.

I didn't want to be disappointed, like I am this AM. I couldn't sleep so I decided to finally test when I woke up.  BFN.  I'm pretty confused right now because I'm 15 DPO and 3 days late (today being day 16 DPO and 4th day).  I've had all kinds of potential pregnancy symptoms.  I wouldn't be so confused if my period weren't so regular usually - like clockwork.

To top it all off, I have no coffee in the house and the SO took off wicked early to hunt when I thought he was going to be here.  This morning blows.

What kind of test did you use? I have three positives from FRER but only the faintest of faints from WONDFOS and I am six days late and 16 DPO.

I found this about the white lines on First Response tests:

Hi there. I'm sorry but that's a negative test. Unless there is any colour in the test line its negative. I read that First Response changed their tests so that they now use something called Polymeric Amplification Technology, which basically means that the tests are designed not to be more sensitive, but for the test line to be more visible so that you can notice it more easily if it is, in fact, there. Unfortunately, the antibody strip is now visible and even the tiniest dye that catches on the strip will be visible. So basically a lot of FRER tests will now produce the faintest bit of a line unlike on the old tests where ANY line was a BFP. Iv read online about lots of people having this happen with the First Response tests when they weren't actually pregnant which is rubbish- getting ur hopes up. Also, it says on the instructions of most tests that its important that the background of the test is clear before reading the results. Iv tried googling what it means that ur test didn't go clear but couldn't really find any explanation. Regardlessly, i think this test was negative but give it a couple of days and test again to confirm that uv just not tested too early or something. Really hope u get that positive soon. Good luck!

Hope this helps!

...and AF has arrived.  She couldn't have come a few hours ago and saved me the $15.  eyesroll.gif  I actually initially felt a little better at her arrival, like "OK got that first negative out of the way, now I can move on".  I'm disappointed though of course (thanks for showing up late and getting me worked-up, AF!) and now feel kinda crappy physically and emotionally and that only got worse when SO's only response was that he was upset I wouldn't be hunting with him today.  Well, thank you Mr Sensitivity but I don't really want to leave the house today.  Jerk.

Well shoot knittermama. There's always next month!! smile.gif and men can be nsensitive jerks. Believe me, I'm married to the king of insensitivity lol. Love his guts but he could use a lesson in the sensitive department.

Starfish- ugh, I'm really trying! I don't want to test and get a BFN and then have AF start a few days later. Waste of money and get let down twice. At the same time though, if I am pregnant I don't want to wait! I just want to know. I have no idea how long my cycle should be though.. I think I ovulated day 13 or 14 so that should put me right at a 28 day cycle. Right? Which would mean technically... I could test and get my BFP. I have had some seriously vivid dreams the last few nights too. Lol that could just be nothing, but I'm hoping its a good sign since I had the craziest dreams with my DD. I'm just going a little crazy wink1.gif

Thanks starfish, that helps. AF hasn't arrived yet and I will test again Monday if still nothing. I don't really have any symptoms. But when my mom was pregnant she said the only way she knew was because she missed AF so maybe that's hereditary. (Probably not).

Mamamash- I'm shocked you haven't tested. That's amazing will power. I'll be watching to see what happens with you.

Knittermama- Bummer. Sorry to hear AF showed.

AFM- I only bled after BDing that day. None at all since, not even a spec. It's making me go insane lol. I just took another test and again it was a BFN (which I'm kinda hoping for so that I'm not sick on Christmas or my sons bday on New Years). I'm just waiting for my period, I really wish I could remember if my last cycle started the day of the World Series or Halloween... so frustrating. I've even gone back to my old chart on Fertility Friend from years ago to look at when I got BFP's. One was 12dpo and the other was 14dpo with neg tests before. So in other words, I'm still waiting lol.
