DS 19 mo, waiting to ovulate smile.gif

I feel lucky that we are going on a week long vacation, WITH the grandparents to play with DS, and I will be ovulating in the middle of our cruise! How perfect! Now if I can only get this one to STCIK. Lol

Cloth diapers rock! DS born 5.11.11 ...weighed 8lb 9oz and still nurses accordingly(breastmilk is more than just food!) TTC #2 since 5/2012 and already planning a home birth!

That's great news, Audrey!  Any plans for monitoring your cycle or will you just be relaxed about things and see what happens?

It's too quiet around here! :-)  Where is everyone at in their cycle?  Are you feeling more or less hopeful this month?  Did you make any changes to increase your odds of conceiving?  Is the craziness of the December holidays affecting TTC?

AFM, I'm CD14 today.  I thought I had ovulated on CD12 because I went from having EWCF to creamy, and the tip of my cervix moved more out of reach (I have a retroverted uterus) but then I went back to having EWCF again.  It sure would be helpful if I could temp!  My cycles are usually about 28 days (26-29 days) so I'm happy we're halfway there.  Not ready to move into the 2WW yet though since I'm not sure if I've ovulated yet.  The only change I've made this cycle is to increase how often we DTD.  We started out every other day on CD5 and then moved to every day as soon as I saw signs of increased fertility.  My DH can hardly keep up but he's happy to make the effort, ha ha ;-)  The holidays are actually increasing my drive since I'd love to get a BFP for Christmas.

CD 29 here, a possible 34-35 day cycle.  Feeling ambiguous about my chances.  But don't I always?!

I want to try and wait for AF to test, but this is quite unlikely. Maybe at 12dpo. So, Monday...dang.  Seems so far away.

Who's up next?

I'm still waiting for my 1st PPAF. DS will be 20 mo in a week so I am getting really anxious.  Also my sister is pregs, her son is 15 mo, so I am happy but jealous.  I am trying to eat better and remember my vitamins. I may cut out my last pumping  in Jan.  we will see how ds is doing healthwise.  Other than that nothing is new.  I am temping although sleep is all over the place as are wake up times, I'm still getting pretty stable temps.  Every once and a while I have a flukey temp but overall they are stable so I should be able to tell if I actually O.  I do usually miss a temp or 2 a week but I have a baseline so even if I can't pinpoint the actual day I should know if it happens.

We're going to DTD every other day starting cycle day 10 until ovulation. So far I've managed to temp in the mornings, still having some night wakings though. DD seems to have night-weaned herself but still wants a snuggle around 3am.,

Ok, I'm back. I'm stalking the August 2013 DDC way too much considering I haven't even ovulated yet, so I guess I should post here instead and get it out of my system. :)

I'm waiting to test until Monday. If I don't get my period at work this weekend. AF would usually come during my weekend at work. It's decided to do this spite me, I feel, just because I wear a white uniform. I've had some vague symptoms, pelvic cramps/low back pain, sore nips, dizzy spells, sour-metallic taste in mouth. I have no idea if I'm preg. The first two times I didn't have any early symptoms that I noticed, just OMG I should have gotten my period by now! and just KNEW I needed to test right away. With #3 I noticed a spike in my appetite and that was pretty much it. I tested at 9dpo and got a BFN, re-tested at 14dpo and got a BFP. Just waiting and hoping and if it doesn't work this month I'll try again next month. What else can we do?

I posted this in the Dec TTC thread too, but I found a teensy weensy spot of red blood on the tp today, couldn't find any more around my cervix.   I am around 6-7dpo.  So, of course as I was feeling pretty chill for the first time this 2ww, I am now obsessing about that little blood dot.  Isn't it pathetic?!

I started temping for the first time a week ago ( I know, too late for this cycle, but in preparation for cycles to come) and I find it fascinating.  Why didn't someone teach me all this stuff in HS?  Before I got pg at 17!

I know, I wondered too why no one ever taught me this long ago....I do remember my mom charting to avoid, but I never knew what it was or why she did it...I only put two and two together in recent years, lol! I can guarantee I'm going to be teaching my daughters about temps, charting, etc., when the time comes, as well as encouraging them to read some fertility books!!

Hi, can I join you ladies?
It's been forever since I last posted on MDC. My daughter is turning 3 this month and we are ttc after an early miscarriage in March. My DD nurses about 2-3 times in 24 hours. This is our first month really trying since the miscarriage. I feel like I've been flip-flop-ing on when to start trying for #2 forever. Now I'm ready to go! Lol I'm on cd 12.

Can you add me to waiting to ovulate? Thanks!

I think I ovulated today. I had EWCM up near the cervix, and didn't think it was quite time yet because it hadn't really made its way down, but I felt a twinge on my right side. So, I'm not sure. Even if it is a day or two from now, I'll be working 12 hour shifts and DTD is rather unlikely during that time. Saturday is the prediction from cyclespage.com based on previous months, but I tend to alternate short and long months, with this probably being a short month, so earlier would make sense.

I do wonder a bit what's up, because last month was scant on the EWCM as well.

We did our own special version of not trying not avoiding this month, so I don't have particularly high hopes. If it doesn't happen this month, we'll probably wait a few more to spread the birthdays out a bit.

DS born 6/03, DD1 born 9/06, DD2 born 10/10, DD3 born 4/14.

Updated to here.  For some of you, I used info from your signature - please correct me if anything is wrong.

Welcome to all the newcomers.  Hopefully your stay here with us is short!

Blonhrt88, enjoy your vacation!

emily11meghan, that sure sounds like implantation bleeding.  So much for a serene 2WW!  I would be totally obsessing if I had that happen too.

ocelotmom, now I'm over there lurking too.  I can only meander through the TTC forum for so long...

And for everyone about to POAS - please update us!  Wishing you lots of BFPs!!!

AFM, I think I may have O'd yesterday or today based on CF but I'm not confident enough yet to say for sure so I'm still not ready to declare that I'm in a 2WW yet.  I feel like nursing is affecting my CF.  I had stretchy, opaque CF for a few days, then an obvious creamy 1/2 day, then a few days of wetter, clearer, stretchy EWCF, then today a tiny bit of creamy and lots of opaque stretchy CF.  I'm so confused!  I'm even more confused assessing my cervix although for the past few days I was sure I was SHOW.  Today feels a bit more closed but not by much.  I'm CD16 (AF usually arrives CD28).  I'm feeling extra emotional this month (a song made me cry while driving yesterday - so not like me!) and my nipples are more sensitive and tender than previous months.  I'm now feeling bloated too.  Does anyone know how nursing affects CF?

ocelotmom, I'll move you over to 2WW.  Sounds like a bit of luck will be needed this month for a BFP... so good luck!

Ok, so my body is giving me much more clear signals this morning.  Cervix is closed (although still high and soft) and my CF is definitely creamy, not wet, not stretchy.  So, off to the 2WW I go, yay!  I'm determined not to test until I'm actually late this month, so that will be the 21st at the earliest.  I may even wait to open my BFP present on Christmas morning... but I'm not sure I'll be able to be that patient :-)

Hi everyone ! I was hoping I could join this thread as well. My husband and I have been ttc for 3 months, 2 of which were confirmed chemical pregnancies ( the third month, this month, I wanted to wait to test until I was late, which would gave been tomorrow, but ad came today.). I am nursing my 17 month old son anywhere from 3 to 6 times in a 24 hr period. I'm driving myself a little crazy thinking things aren't sticking because of me nursing and my progesterone levels could be low. I'm calling my on Monday and asking to get tested. But lasting he actually told me that bfing INCREASES progesterone levels! Very confused and frustrated. With my son I got pregnant the first month we tried. I would just like to figure out what is going on! Thanks for letting vent and any advice of tips are much appreciated:)
