We are starting to talk about TTC #3 sometime later this year so I've been paying attention to my cycles for the first time in ages. They're very easy to follow - I get copious amounts of EWCM for about 4-5 days with distinct ovulation pains near the end (wish it had been that obvious when TTCing #1!). Because of this and other consistent signs, I'm not temping yet to confirm ovulation however it seems to me that all is working as it should. The cool thing is that in December, January and February, I ovulated right around the full moon, give or take a day. Now it's happening again in March! Is this really common? I've read that this pattern can lead to higher conception rates. Any truth in that do you think?
Happy mumma to my boys Henny Tom (Nov 30, 2008), Arlo Odie (Oct 5, 2010), and baby SISTER! due mid-Dec 2014.
I also read yesterday that conception rates can be higher around the full moon. We're TTC #2 (#1 with my SO) and I'm ovulating now. We'll see what happens!

I have heard it is common to ovulate around the full moon. You may also want to research lunaception. It is the concept of using light at night, like the full moon, to help you conceive. Good luck!
Married to a wonderful woman since 2010. Baby boy C arrived in June 2013!

I ovulate around the full moon and bleed with the new moon. Makes things easy to keep track of.
