I'm so trying not to obsess about every twinge I feel! Today is dpo 5 and I'm so anxious to be able to POS! We just started trying for a baby. This will be my third and my partner's first. It has been over 6 years since I got pregnant with my last baby, so this all feels so new (not to mention that I'm actually in love with this man!! Wasn't like this with my ex).
What tips do you all have to keep me sane during this TWW?
I've had twinges of cramping, nausea, and bloating... but maybe it's in my head, or something totally unrelated: like something I ate?
I had my first official visit with my MW and an official ultrasound because I was measuring big. Baby bean is perfect (and yes, just one bean) and measuring about a week ahead. I'm not surprised as I know I implanted early, BFP at 8 dpo. So here's baby's first pic. Fx for all of you. I am sending lots of good vibes to Chourd, Oxford and Livnkadesmom who spent a great deal of time with me here during many TWWs! Big hugs mamas...

Sparklemaman that's a beautiful scan pic hope the rest of your pregnancy goes well.
I'm hoping yesterday was my O day, since this morning I tested positive for LH (friday morning and evening was positive, yesterday morning was SUPER strong positive, and yesterday evening was a negative). Anyone notice that the morning LH tests turn out false positives? Also, do you all think that thurs morning and evening, plus Saturday morning and evening is enough? I'm afraid I'm wearing my DH out. Sorry for the questions, this is hopefully baby #1 for us!
Faith rising - I think you are in with a shot! Now it's waiting time... Fx to all waiting!
Oxford - has AF left yet? How are you traveling?
Over here. AF has packed her bags so I am CD6. My LP was showing quite a variation so I got some help on my chart and have overrides the O date to make my chartsore regular. It does mean I'm less sure when I will O this month though. I might try OPK. Any recommendations? I always seem to get a negative!! Despite temp shift and CM pattern.
DH has greed to come to the doctor with me as we have been TTC for 6 months now. Feeling a bit nervous about that, but hopefully the doc can put my mind at rest and I may relax a bit then. I'm determined not to get so stressed this month, please remind me of that in a couple of weeks!! ;-)
Baby dust to all and welcome to our new members :-)
Oxford, what OPKs have you used? I used a combo of Wondfo's and Clearblue to pinpoint O. My method was to use the Wondfo's in the week or so leading up to when I expected to O (this way if it came early, I wouldn't miss it), and then to use both Wondfo and CB on the days when the Wondfo was starting to darken. And then to be even more sure of when I O'd, I would test twice a day- morning and night on the days when I knew O was imminent.. it sounds like overkill haha, but hey, it worked for me! :) Good luck!!!
Chuord, that's correct :) I liked it because the wondfos are so cheap, that you don't feel like you're wasting money every time you get a negative OPK, since the CB's are so pricey. That way you only use the expensive ones for a few days!
AF should be headed back out tomorrow, I hope to not see her again anytime soon..
going to try those clear blue O tests this month to make sure I wasn't completely off with our timing because I don't see how on earth we didn't have any luck this month!
fingers crossed for all, new and old!
