Hello chuord- nice to see you!!
I'm waiting for O. Booked a doctors appointment for a few weeks, I figured TTC 8 months might need some help.
How are things with you? Lovely to see your post :-)

Thanks Oxford! I know what you mean, I'm coming up to 6 months - although not 'actively' trying the first couple... Here's hoping this is your month, or it's an easy quick hormonal fix.
Nothing very exciting here, been a little slack ūüė≥ and I'm trying to get motivated to dash around and catch up on jobs!

me 39, DH 39, one no babies yet due to previous poor health. Trying to make up for it now (TTC since November 2012) At least one confirmed chem.Ivf #1 march 2014 - 6 day 6 blasts, two transferred bfn, 4 frosties in waiting. Ivf #2 may, cancelled, Ivf #3 July... Waiting

AF is due today. She's not here yet and still negative test. I'm assuming she's going to be late because my cycles are messed up, still not sure how many days my cycle is going to be, or even when I O'ed. So frustrating. I ordered some FertiliTea last night and some vitex capsules. Maybe that will help my cycle get regulated and help my CM to become more fertile. It couldn't hurt to try anyway, I read a lot of good reviews about the tea.

I was doing a little bit of research on Vitex, after I seen that someone had posted about it on here. There are a lot of different opinions on it. Some say good things, others say bad things. One article said absolutely not to take it during pregnancy, then another article was from a woman that had been taking it throughout her entire pregnancy, one time, then the second time she got pregnant, she started to bleed like she was having a miscarriage, and she started taking it again, and she went on to have a healthy birth...What are your feelings on this Vitex?  Do you believe it to be a good thing to try?  I too have irregular cycles.  I'm not even positive I ovulated when the opk said I did, because it was so early, so Im not sure if I should start counting DPO's yet!  Any suggestions, greatly welcome.  I'm having a rough time with this whole ttc. My first child was a great surprise, def. was not trying to get pregnant, the same with the other two I lost, little angels!  Now that I am actually TRYING, I cant seem to make it happen!

I was just going to use it before I'm pregnant, and not during pregnancy. There are a lot of herbs that are not good during pregnancy, but if it will help me to regulate my cycles or help with ovulation then I'm willing to give it a try, and then stop either in my TWW (If I know I ovulated) or if I get a + hpt. The tea also has vitex and red raspberry leaf in it. I also have red raspberry leaf capsules. I had AF from April 8th - 12th and now there's no sign of her. I hope she comes soon so I can start over again. I read a lot of good reviews of the FertiliTea on Amazon, there's a lot of women who have PCOS or just irregular cycles and they started drinking the tea and it helped regulate their cycles. It can't hurt to try!

My first son was a big surprise to me too. I kind of had baby fever, but me and my ex weren't trying as we hadn't been together for that long. I now have a very energetic almost 4 year old haha! I'm hoping that my body is just still regulating after being on Mirena for 4 years. This is only my second month of TTC. Maybe I'll get lucky next month. I hope so.

I hope you can figure out your cycles! It's so different actually TTC after you've already gotten pregnant once by surprise.

Yes, it is...i wasn't assuming you were going to use it if pregnant. I was just wondering about it in general. After reading such different reviews on it, I was wondering if you could tell me different. Good luck

Well it seems as though AF is finally on her way. I'm hoping if not tonight then by tomorrow, so I can start over again! I'm cramping now and there was a little red spotting on my cervix. Hopefully at least in the next two days!

Fawn, sorry to hear about AF. I know what you mean about surprise babies - my first was a total surprise, and the next 2 were "not trying, not avoiding" babies. TTC is hard but I've learned so much about my body and how it works. I'm grateful for that. I'm in the part of the TWW where it is too early too test, and I just want to know. Actually, a part of me wants to know, and a part of me just wants to be happy that I might be. I'm getting antsy. I know I'm going to cry if AF comes. I'm already paranoid, expecting to see blood in my underwear every time I pee. It's so different doing this after a loss, I keep expecting the worst.

Aw, I can't even imagine how different it is after a loss. Hugs mama! And FX for this cycle. I fully expected AF to be here this AM but not yet. Hurry up AF! I slept with a pad on last night just in case cause I've been crampy and just blah period feeling, and nothing yet.

I feel like I've learned more about my  body in the last two months since taking my IUD out than my whole life! It's really interesting. I love The Beautiful Cervix project website, and I was using that as almost a "reference" at first, but I've really gotten to know how my body works a little better, even if it's still wonky right now.

Fawnanddoe--Any sign of her this morning???? Best of luck managing your anxiety--I know how tough that can be. I've never taken anything but SSRIs but I imagine it must be tough to drop one of your meds like that.

I posted this on the one thread, but I got a bfp yesterday. It was so weird--I had gotten several shadows on cheap tests that I thought were evaps because the online reviews said these were prone to them. When my temp was still up yesterday morning (about 11 dpo, I think--I usually have a 9-10 day luteal phase) I didn't know what to think so got a FRER. Turns out the cheapo tests were accurate, but so crappy the lines looked like evaps! The line on the FRER was very bright and popped up almost immediately. I'm kind of freaking out--I liked the idea of a second child in theory but now that it's a (maybe) reality it's like, "do I really want to go through all this again?" It took me SO LONG to feel like myself again after DD, mostly because of sleep issues. But now that it's sunk in I'm starting to feel really excited. I have to remind myself that we don't know how sticky this one is yet. Oi.

Way too early to say!

Some people claim symptoms immediately after conception, but realistically you aren't going to have any whatsoever until after implantation (between 5 and 10 DPO) because your body has no way of knowing you are pregnant until implantation.

DS born 6/03, DD1 born 9/06, DD2 born 10/10, DD3 born 4/14.

No sign! I'm trying to mask my frustration, and I'm drinking a lot of stress relief tea and I'm about to start drinking some CALM, but it's just so confusing. My period in April was so normal, and I spotted "on time" prior after IUD removal, so I thought I would be good to go, but she's taking her time. I really hope she comes soon! Right now I have zero insurance and basically have to wait until I'm pregnant to get on the medicaid here, then see a maternal fetal specialist (I have other issues I need to be on the lookout for. I got dx with melanoma when I was 36 weeks pregnant in 2009, so I need to still be watched for that, and I got a chronic pain disorder from the surgeries. I'm off all medication now, but I don't know how my body will react to pregnancy this time, so I need a specialist).

Congrats on your bfp! And sending sticky vibes your way. I have the same thoughts as you sometimes, I get nervous or scared or think do I really want to do this all over again? Because it's been almost 4 years since I did it, and it was freaking hard! But I know that this time will be different, and at the end of the day I will one day have a beautiful baby that I will love <3 Hugs!

Im confused...I'm not positive that the small amount of spotting I had on the 30th of last month, an actual period. Then I had that positive lh strip on cd8, then light lines since then, and I had a lot, I mean a lot of discharge yesterday. So bad, it felt like I started my period. Thought about doing an hcg strip this morning, but didn't because it's Mother's Day, and didn't want to ruin the day.

yeah I know! Am worried about the lotion like discharge.and another thing I didn't experience the normal ovulation pain this time around does that mean I didn't ovulate? But I got a postive on one of the opk kits.

I wouldn't worry about the lotion like discharge. It's totally normal and I've had it just about ever day since ovulation, and I'm not 16dpo. OPK's are just predictors unfortunately, so they will only predict ovulation usually within 24-36 hours of a + test. It doesn't mean that your body is actually going to ovulate, but that it's gearing up to. It's hard to say whether you ovulated or not unless you temp and the chart shows when you ovulated.

Hi ladies, so I have been going to a fertility doctor for the past few months. And the benefit of that is that I am being monitored, so I know exactly when I ovulate. Well this is my 3rd cycle that I have been trying with help from the doctor and I was gearing up for ovulation. And the last few times I went into the clinic to get check for ovulation, my follicles have not been growing, and if so very slowly. Well the nurse said to me on Friday, take the weekend off and lets see what your body is doing on Monday. Maybe your follicles will have grown by then. Well low and behold, don't I just get my period AGAIN!!!!! I am on cd 18 today and I can't believe this!!!!! I am so pissed and bummed. I am just in shock and I needed to vent.

I hope every ones mother day went well...and all was going good for me too until 8 o'clock tonight when AF decided to show her face for the second time in 2 and a half weeks.

Thanks for listening ladies....

Lisa, that is odd. hug2.gif The good thing is that you are being monitored while this happened. Maybe some bloodwork and an ultrasound are in your future.

I was also thinking, is it full blown AF? Sometimes people have some spotting or even light bleeding around ovulation.

Day 3-ish DPO. Yesterday, my toddler pointed at my lower abdomen and said "bibi!"

It's a sign, right? :)

(I realized that, in context of my last post, this could be interpreted as making fun of someone. It's not intended that way, except perhaps towards myself!)

3 days late. Still no AF, still negative tests. I got my FertiliTea today and I wasted no time and already drank almost 3 cups ROTFLMAO.gif. Here's hoping AF shows her face soon, so I can TTC again!

Well we are still taking the relax route this month. I have been thinking I was suppose to ovulate between the 4-8 and the 8 being the high day and me and hubby do it the 4 and 8 and some days since then and I have been having diareah every morning when I get up and for a few hours later. And I have started to feel light headed like dizzy some, could I be pregnant? Just curious Im not sure if I actually ovulated then cuz I didn't test and not sure what to look for just curious what y'all think thanks smile.gif

Sorry Fawn, I hope you either get a + Test or AF soon!

So I think I'm losing it. I tested yesterday at 9dpo and got two stark white bfns.

Tested today with FMU and there is a shadow of a line. Wouldn't show up in pic, I almost thought I was imagining it. Tested with SMU to see if I got better results, and got the same thing. It's a squinter for sure. I'm scared it might be either a false positive or a chemical pregnancy. I'm good at reading wondfos because I used them after my m/c to measure my hcg levels down to zero, and they are very very sensitive. I actually had a squinter after my first post-m/c period. So I'm really not sure what to think. The perils of testing early, oi!

Send sticky vibes, JIC!
