Were you using vaginal progesterone? If so then it might take the bleeding longer to get down to your undies/pad, and I've definitely heard that for many people the progesterone kind of drew out the m/c process until it had been fully stopped for even a few days. Big hugs!

Sila - yes on vaginal. Took it this morning but afyer that test I'm not taking it anymore.

Thank you for the hugs. I figured this was the end of it all for me but dh wants to talk things through when we get ds settled in school and such. So who knows. Sadly I took that test for peace of mind. Worked so not well.

Oh Chrissy, pooh! More hugs to you, I think Sila might be onto something though, maybe you're not getting the right amount of progesterone from the vaginal ones... Anyway I guess that's something to look at after you have recovered - tell that husband of yours to be very kind and gentle to you for the next few days... I was hormonally all over the place for a few days. I'm so sorry it's happened again.

School shopping - do you have a good selection near you?
I actually did some spring cleaning (toiletries storage in ensuite) yesterday so feeling virtuous lol - but a lot more to go! We have the Brisbane royal show on this week so the plan is we go there tomorrow or Thursday... Dh loves it, but he's still under the weather, Im much better now. Weather here has hit warm (28-29) and its still officially winter!
What else is happening ladies?

CD4 now. I am not sure I want to TTC anymore. It was like some passing fancy. I think I want to see how the adoption thing pans out first and maybe TTC after that. I dunno I guess I have a lot of thinking to do.

She'll - baby looks beautiful! Even better on the family friend doing mates rates! So happy for you!
Mountain mama - just take the time to work out what's best for your family... The best thing I've learnt from my long (but not as long as done) journey is to try and keep removing the stress and stay relaxed - otherwise your head kinda implodes... Fx for a decision that works for you.
Ladies I may be taking a month off (she's says days from o) I have a repetitive bleeding fissure or hemaroid and think its probable better to get it surgically fixed prior to pregnancy... (Sorry tmi) it's been fine for a while, but I'm getting the hint to fix it lol.. An only mentioning it here in case someone has a strong thought wink1.gif
Hugs to all you gorgeous baby mamas... Indie, tootfairy, sherry, SKJ and any others that we haven't heard of in a bit - is there anything exciting outside ttc /pg that is going on in your life? I'd love to know you're ok.

Chourd, I second that on Indie, sherry, skj, toothfairy, bebe..... As far as your issue I w would get it fixed before as well....even though, pregnancy usually causes hemorrhoids.

Chuord - I agree with Shell. Get it fixed beforehand. One less worry.

Adie - How are you?!

Sila - How are you?!

AFM - Nothing new. Still in pain and bleeding. Wish it'd stop soon. Just had a random thought earlier. 1 week ago today I was still pg. Effed up!

No Shell. Its most definitely not you!! Don't keep thinking that. Ypu are an inspiration! !

I think it's because lots of us are on different paths now. I know for me I really need to think about if I want to continue on or just stop and be fine with what I have. Some are busy with their new littles and some will have littles and littles are a huge time suck. (Seriously. They are)

I'm still rooting and reading and here.

Chrissy, I think you're right on all fronts. Shell, I don't think it's personal. I'm trying to shrink ttc in my life, and I have so much to replace it with right now. At least that's me.

Chuord, I think you should try, unless it's something that requires immediate action that's completely contraindicated for pregnancy. I guess my experience has been, the odds are so low, just try and then act like there's no chance you're pregnant. I think it's trying to emulate the mindset of all those women out there who don't try and then find their pregnancy crimping their plans. At least for me, my plan is to try these next few months, even though as I explained I really wouldn't choose to be pregnant in the next four months just time wise with the new job. Again, odds so low, and if it happened I'd be so happy and would just find a way to make it work. IVF was just goin to be a bigger increase in the odds. That's how I reconcile it all, anyway. Would you be unable to move forward with the necessary treatment if you had sex? Or would it have to do with the timing (like by the time of the appointment, you'd know if you were pregnant, and would have to cancel if you were?). Those are my thoughts, of course you shoulddo what you feel the most comfortable with, no question. And I second that that's a problem likely to get worse with having a baby!

J(30) + J(34) = E(6/2009)  ...  + ?(?)

Shell - I agree it's not you!
Chrissy - I understand re the thread, and I guess a lot of you have other methods of communicating anyway... I have to say the i find the thought a little painful... I'm on the zen thread too - but people there change so often... And honestly I'm at the stage where I need a break from supporting the new ones that are all manic and positive...
Jpack - I really am truly happy for you that you're life is such a buzz at the moment, I think for you trying is the right thing while in those off months... Re me, my reason for resolving it is a very tiny variation in my routine made things start bleeding again... It just feels like it needs sorting - and I hate ops... I talked to dh and he said it'll take about 7 days to heal after, I should be able to get in quickly (privately) and be good to go by next month. I would try anyway, but apparently the anesthetic has toxic reactions with babies particularly in the first 3 months - so I figure why put myself through another loss, and I'm due to o today, and if I'm lucky will have had it done before I could test anyway...
Ladies thanks for all your support with this, I truly appreciate it...
Re the thread, can I suggest we don't kill it, but let it just float even without much conversation? Then it's there for anyone to add to if they want... Btw I'll still be on daily for a bit xxx

I have to say I would be very sad if we killed the thread.  It is so nice to know that even if we all can't cope all of the time or be present at least we have a place to go.  I know everyone is kind of in an odd place but I really feel like that is what this is all about.

Chrissy- How are you doing love?  Finding things to keep you busy?  How is DS?

Chuord-  What did you decide on the surgery?  How is life otherwise?

Jpack- I'm glad you are in a place where you are filling your life with other things!  I am trying not to obsess this cycle...we will see how that goes!

Shell- How are you feeling?  I hope you don't think the thread thing is you!  No way!

All others...Hey, hope you are hanging in there.

AFM-  I have had a very odd cycle. RE dropped me down to 50 mg of clomid after having 6 follies last time.  I had my u/s on Friday and still had 5 follies this time on that little of clomid.  He said I'd be perfect for IVF...not ready to hear that yet.  I was really confused because I have triggered every cycle of TTC since February.  This time he thought I would O on my own and wanted me to do OPK's...he was distracted and was training a new doc and I was confused. I called back and he wanted me to do OPK and if not pos then trigger on Sat.  Well I bought the clear blue easy test but he didn't specify digital.  So on fri there was two lines but was nowhere near as dark or darker than test line.  I was worried It was pos and I was going to miss it since dh was gone for work.  Well I am pretty sure it was neg and I triggered on Sat and had IUI this morning.  I have a very deep cervix so it took them like 30 mins to get the damn thing in!  It hurt soooo bad!  I even heard a pop when they took the speculum out because it was stuck...I know tmi!!  Anyhoo sorry for my rambling I have been waiting to be on the computer forever!  Truly hope you ladies are doing well!  Here is to 2 weeks of trying not to obsess...ha ha

Adie - thanks for chiming in just when we needed you wink1.gif I'm really glad that at least one part of your cycle (follies) works really well! Here's to a low stress 2 weeks for you

I went to my gp (family doc) and got 'scoped' I laughed as it was pretty funny - anyone who hasn't had it done - every time she moved it my body told me to go the loo... Hence the laughter... She gave me the all clear, fissure not haemaroids, and it has almost healed in under a week. Dr said no need to operate, just maintain good prevention and be extra diligent when pg... That's the good news... Bad news is I found out the day after o! So another month to wait for me... Ho hum, so will focus on the spring cleaning instead
