Jayjay hope the yeast clears up soon, I used the same product and it worked perfectly for me so fx.

I am CD 19 today, neg opk test and my temp hasn't risen yet, so I am 99% sure I will O tomorrow now yay! Dp will be home tomorrow so we can try and are in with a chance if we try on the actual day of O for sure, I am so relieved and can't wait for tomorrow! I also had O type cramping last night so thought I was ovulating but as my temp didn't rise this morning I'm assuming it was my ovaries gearing up to O for Wednesday joy.gif

Oh that's good news Winter!!!! Happy for you!

I don't know what's going on here. My temps are level above the cover line no matter what time I take it (very very odd for me) and while I have lots of "symptoms" I think most of them are because of the abx I'm on. It's making me feel horrible but I have to push through because I'm not 100% yet. Apparently the Strep is going around town really bad!

DH still isn't feeling well and has had a lot of time off work because of it being slow and is now taking a lot of time off work and we're both seriously reconsidering our vacation plans. We have money in his vacation account but our rental property is getting a new $$$$$ deck (out of our pocket) because of it's height (not size or fanciness) and he just hasn't worked much this year greensad.gif at this point *I* may just go with the kids but even that I'm not overly excited about and think about just staying home. But then we'd have some really disappointed and possibly angry people on our hands.

Based on past cycles I have anywhere from a 8-14+ Day LP. Based on last cycle with a CD10 O, it was an 8 day LP. Being sick messed up a bunch of med taking. But I was takings Bcomplex there for a bit at the beginning. I'm 7DPO today so I'm hopeful that my period doesn't show in two days smile.gif

I wanted to let folks know that I got my positive on Saturday. :-)

It was indeed nice to have the weekend to process, but I am STILL having a hard time concentrating at work!

Thanks for all your support . . . off to my DDC now! Fx all goes well . . .

Posting to keep my place in the thread - hoping for good things for all of you!

I'm at CD 15, probably O'ing today or tomorrow.

Gatormom - I am in the same boat as you. I am not super knowledgeable about all this infertility stuff, but if you ever need any more support, PM me.

Been doing infertility testing - I got all of my tests back and everything with me seems to be normal. DH had one semen analysis that showed low normal sperm with some problems in morphology - other aspects of the analysis were normal. They said his levels are right on the edge of normal. He is doing a repeat analysis next week to see if the results are replicable or if there may be any changes. He also had a testicular ultrasound, but we have not received the results of that yet. He is having trouble with the fact that it's a problem on his end, but I am hopeful that now that we know why it's taking so long that we can figure out where to go from here. I guess the next step after the new analysis is to go to an infertility specialist and see what they say. Based on the brief research I've done, I am thinking they will suggest IUI, but I guess we'll see.

In the current cycle, I am waiting to O, it should be any day now. We have been able to try a little less this month since we were traveling. I guess I should be hopeful that since DH's sperm issues are near normal that we can conceive on our own, but I am feeling less and less like it's going to happen without intervention. I guess that helps stress levels, "knowing" that it won't happen instead of getting all excited that it will and then devastated when I get a BFN. Praying for some answers and a plan of where to go from here.

Praying for all of you as well!

Me (29) & DH (29) 9.5 years together, 2 years married, TTC since 4/2012.

Whoo-hooo! pepperedmoth!

And, jayray, boo, yeast!  This may be TMI but sometimes what has offered some relief for me is garlic.  I take an unpeeled clove, sometimes cut just a teensy bit, wrap it in gauze and knot it and insert like a tampon. The gauze acts like a tampon string so you can get it out.

As for me, still waiting to O as far as I can tell, and trying not to get nervous since my midwife says my FSH is high and my thyroid is a little off.

Good luck to everyone!

I'm sorry to hear this greensad.gif But I'm happy to hear that you guys are getting some answers. I hope that his follow up shows better results smile.gif

Congrats, pepperedmoth!  Hope you have a wonderful pregnancy and birth.

Winter, I'm so happy that your timing outlook is improving!  Hopefully we'll both be in the April DDC together.  fingersx.gif

Delightedbutterfly, I'm hoping that this is your month, too.

I'm 4-5 DPO here.  I think I am 5 DPO, but FF's dotted crosshairs say I'm 4 DPO.  Either way, it is too soon to be having symptoms (phantom or real) so the waiting continues!

I hope so too! I hate however how pregnancy symptoms and PMS symptoms are so close...

I'm:

- crampy, big time but this is a usual pregnancy and PMS symptom
- super tired & sleepy, could be from being sick
- sore boobs, progesterone supplement and PMS
- nauseous, again the abx
- SUPER emotional, but that's usual with my PMS
- Irritable which is what is making me thing AF is on her way in the next couple days greensad.gif

Delightedbutterfly can I ask why you were taking B complex only at the beginning of your cycle? Just wondered if there was a reason for that, like it should only be taken then. Symptoms wise the sore boobs is my biggest pregnancy sign, I rarely get that for AF and even then it's not very bad. That is the main symptom I will be looking for!

Teajunkie Thanks and yes please I would love to go to the DDC with you!

Please move me to waiting to know joy.gif

So I forgot your temp rises the day After you O, not the day of O....and my temp did rise today, so I'm sure that I O'd yesterday. Dp came home and we bd today, which is 1 day after O, and going by the timings that I had (quite painful this month!) O pains, it looks like we bd 19 hours after O......which is not the best if the egg has 12-24 hours fertile, because the sperm also has to swim up and meet it and I have no idea how long that takes! But maybe they had less far to travel to reach it as 19 hours after O maybe the egg was moving down nearer to the uterus by then, so less distance for the sperm to travel??

Glad it is all done now and I can relax for a while and trying not to worry about it being too late to have worked redface.gif

Hoping timing is going well for you all this cycle.

Hey guys! Congrats to those with BFPs this week and last week.

I spoke with my doc the other night and he told me that hubs and I are doing everything right. He did advise us to not have sex every single day, but I reminded him that we are newlyweds and sometime forget wink1.gif Anyway, his advise was to DD the deed two days for O to ensure that we have good, vibrant little swimmers in there and then again on O day and then again the day after that.

He also advised me to cut back on my workouts. It seems my running 2-4 miles a day ( a regimen I just started about three weeks ago) can be a little bit much on my body while trying to conceive. He said I should cut back the mileage and frequency but I am clear to workout.

I'm due to O in in about a week so we will try again and hopefully be successful this time!

Where's the bag over the head icon on mobile wink1.gif

I'm horrible at remembering to take everything I need to every day... Some cycles I'm really really great at remembering, and then other cycles I'm horrible at it. The strep throat didn't help either wink1.gif no it's definitely supposed to be an every day thing (as I understood my doc) but I'm just a terrible pill taker wink1.gif

AFM... Feels like AF will be here any time greensad.gif
My temp taking got real messed up today and my temp either dropped below coverline (but it was EARLY and I had just taken a drink of water... OR my temp went up slightly but it was still early just a later early and it wasn't another full sleep *grumble*. I wish I could sleep better so I could temp better...

Delighted thanks for the info!

I have read online the sperm need 12 hours inside before they fertilize the egg and if I O'd when I felt pains then that would be 31 hours after O when the sperm were ready, which is obviously more than the 24 hours the egg survives in there, so I'm pretty convinced I am out this cycle now greensad.gif major bummer. I can't help clasping onto a tiny bit of hope though because of reading the egg has 48 hours to be fertilized on some sites....so hoping it was a super healthy egg this time and just possibly that info is correct rather than the 12-24 hours. I really need to relax! Either way it's out of my control now.

I can be moved to waiting to O, AF arrived today. I've reactivated my chart too and will start temping tomorrow morning! Here is the link although there's not much to see yet haha. It's been great reading through all of the posts and following your journeys :) I'm starting to remember the lingo and the ins and outs of charting my cycle. TTC - It's like riding a bike!

Congratulations, PepperedMoth! I'm so happy for you!

This is the start of our 3rd TTC cycle for baby #1. The past two cycles, we simply just BD without any opks or temping. This time, I decided to break down and start using opks and temping everyday. I'm so new to it all. My cyles are usually around 34-38 days, so I think this will help with deciding exactly when I'm ovulating. I do have a question for the ladies that temp.... how much does your temperature decrease or increase around O? I've only temped twice so far- 97.57 and then 97.77. Are the increases more than that? Obviously I shouldn't be O'ing right now anyway consdering I'm CD 7, but just wondering what to look for later on.

Thanks!

Updated to Here

Took a test this morning. 9DPO and a BFN...

But no AF either. Lots of creamy CM and all the other symptoms soon... Still thinking that AF will arrive sooner than later though, but holding out a little hope that she doesn't smile.gif

brooksfam This is from the info packet that came with my BBT thermometer:

"After ovulation, temperatures usually rise above the range of lows that preceded it...Your body will warn you of impending ovulation by beginning to develop a wet quality cervical fluid, typically about a week before. Assume ovulation is approaching with your first wet days. Every day from that first wet day, start glancing back over the last 6 days. Identify the first day your temperature rises at least 2/10s of a degree higher than the highest of the last six days. Highlight those last 6 temperatures before the rise. Draw the coverline 1/10th of a degree above the highest temperature of that cluster of 6 highlighted days preceding the rise. Once you observe at least 3 consecutive high temperatures above the coverline, you can assume that you have probably ovulated."

So 97.57 to 97.77 is a 2/10 jump, but 97.57 would have to be the highest temp of the last 6 days and the temp would have to stay above the coverline of 97.67 for 3 days. Does that make sense?

delightedbutterfly I'm holding onto hope for you too, it's still early so fx!

I'm just chilling at 3DPO today feeling cautiously optimistic. Sorry I forgot who it was who said their doctor told them bd on the day After O as well as before, so that sounds like I may have a definite chance as that is the only day we managed to do it this time.

Do I have a cycle buddy?

I'm at CD27.  I've tested twice, both BFN.  The first time I knew was too early.  The second time was yesterday. innocent.gif  Honestly, I'm not sure what to hope for.  I WANT to go ahead and be pregnant, but if I wasn't I could go ahead and take the diflucan and be done with this yeast for certain.  I could also go to the dentist.  orngtongue.gif  I suppose you can go to the dentist for a check-up even when you're pregnant, though, right?  I feel like I read something about all the bacteria they displace when they clean your teeth...

But you know, I'm not feeling PMSy and I usually am by now.  I've also had some breast discomfort.  Couldn't wait to get my bra off last night!

I'd hold out hope, Winter!

Sorry, Butterfly that things have been so challenging this month!  Also holding out hope for you too!

Brooksfam, you should get a copy of Taking Charge of Your Fertility.  Or maybe just look at the website!

Hi, all :)  I'd like to join.  After a year of waiting to TTC, we finally got to try this month. joy.gif But half my pregnancies have ended in miscarriage, so I'm worried about that all the time. greensad.gif And I'm older now (40 next month.)  redface.gif  Not sure of my chances.  But we may as well try.  :D  My two kiddos are 11 and 6 (I like big age gaps, but the past year delay was unplanned due to having CIN III (cervical dysplasia) a year ago & surgery :( -- but I seem to be in good shape now.  biggrinbounce.gif  Plus I gave up dairy a year ago and feel better than I have in like a decade, so that's only good, right?   Anyway, I O'd today.  So I'm waiting to know.

Welcome jenjy! I hope your stay is short!

jayray, you can definitely go for just a cleaning, I thought it was recommended. If I get pregnant before the end of Aug lol then I will be going pregnant. I need to have a professional cleaning really really bad! And we only recently got benefits and then they just changed them on us. So I can't wait!

Still no AF here. And no $store tests still. So hopefully I can run out to the grocery store (next cheapest pink dye tests in town) and grab a pack and test tomorrow smile.gif

And no grocery store tests lol

Man it sucks to live in a very high birth rate per capita city!!!! Guess I'll just keep temping until either AF shows up or Tues when I see my doc and ask for one there wink1.gif Normally buying regular priced tests wouldn't be an issue but DH hasn't been working much and we're going away next week and need to save save save!

Oh, delightedbutterfly, hoping this is your month.

I am impressed by all you ladies temping.  I couldn't even manage to POAS at the same time more than 2 days in a row for the OPKs.  CD20 and no idea what's going on.

I'm impressed with myself. I've known about it for a decade, but It's never something I've felt I'd be able to do well. I was always still nursing when I would have tried it, and didn't think I was getting enough uninterrupted sleep. I'm still not getting fabulous uninterrupted sleep, but it seems to be working out anyways.

If I didn't set an alarm, there's no way I'd be able to do it. I'm horrible about remembering to take pills and stuff. If I weren't getting up at 4:45 three times a week anyways, there's no way I'd set an alarm. So that's why it's working for me.

delightedbutterfly I wish you could test! I feel your pain too, tests are crazy expensive here in Australia. I have run out of my wondfos from Amazon and desperately need to order more!

Welcome jenjy!

Is anyone else in this thread TTC with PCOS? I came across this TED talk today by Alisa Vitti and wow it is so interesting. I'm so excited I've ordered her book haha :) I'll try and post the link to the video here. It's worth a watch even if you don't have PCOS!

http://youtu.be/9vKRj9yV8pI

This part was SO INTERESTING to me and something I never considered:

"First you have the follicular phase, fascinating phase, and neuro chemically these hormonal ratios change your brain chemistry. So you are a different person week over week within a month. In that follicular phase where the eggs are kind of coming up to maturity, one is going to make it to the fallopian tube, it's a very exciting time! Neuro chemically speaking, you have the most access to creative energy that you will have the entire month, effortlessly. This is a perfect time to begin new projects, mastermind, plan, dream big, all of that.

In the ovulatory phase we have the best communication skills and the most energy that we're going to have all month. This is definitely a time to have important conversations...Go on a first date, have an important conversation with your partner...you're just a magnet at that time.

In the luteal phase, B vitamins are being called into action because the lining is thickening and it's a very energised process. But we become very detail-oriented at this time. Detail-oriented tasks will be very easy to do, try not to plan them in the other two weeks.

In the fourth phase, the menstrual phase, this is the time of the month when you actually have the most conversation between the right hempisphere and the left hemisphere of the brain. So if you're looking to course correct, evaluate your life in the past 30 days...this would be the time to do it. You are most able to receive those gut feeling body messages so take a moment to take notice at that time."

jayray, I've heard that some dentists won't see you in your first trimester, and some require a doctor's/midwife's note even in the second trimester.  Each dentist is different, though, so I'm not sure what yours will require.  smile.gif

delightedbutterfly, I hope you find some tests soon!

tantylynn, that was some fascinating info.  Thanks for sharing!

9 DPO today and feeling very discouraged.  It feels like AF is going to show up any minute, even though she isn't due until Tuesday at the earliest (based on my shortest LP).  I've had AF-like cramping since yesterday and last night my CM turned pink and this morning had a tiny streak of blood in it.  That has never happened with either of my previous pregnancies and I'm not showing any of the pre-BFP symptoms I've had before like super sense of smell and slight food aversions.  I know there is still a chance, but I'm not feeling very optimistic anymore. gloomy.gif

tantylynn, thanks for the link, when I have some time I wanna watch. I don't have PCOS that I know of, I do have very very heavy periods when I'm not on progesterone. But I have a friend with pretty bad PCOS and she's TTC so it may be perfect for her!

TeaJunkie, I'm hoping it's just implantation for you! I keep feeling like AF is going to arrive to and then she doesn't...

AFM, I'm 11DPO today and still just plugging along. Haven't gotten up yet today but AF tends to arrive whenever she wants during the day. Going to DH's company golf tourney so I'll pack a pad just in case but I just feel symptomless besides the girls hurting pretty bad and some minor other stuff. But less than it has been and neither like AF or pregnancy symptoms. My temp is still above cover line. My chart is looking pretty beautiful actually but like I read somewhere else, most of the times charts look beautiful... Until they don't wink1.gif

I haven't posted it before but if anyone wants to chart stalk...

I have been temping for more than a year and I found I could get really sloppy with it and still get very clear indications of O.  This month I actually decided NOT to temp because I think my thermometer broke .. but over the many past cycles I have discovered that I ALWAYS O the day after a positive OPK anyway -- so just going with that this month.

Ha, my family could probably attest to that. redface.gif   Seriously though, that is very fascinating.  Thank you for posting it!

TeaJunkie, I hope those symptoms mean something good even if they aren't your set of typical pregnancy symptoms!!

It does look great!  I have a 12 day LP and my temp always is on its way down by like day 9... love that yours is still steady and high!!

AFM -- today is my first day I haven't worked in a while (we have had lots of deadlines this month - I am exhausted from the OT!!) so I'm trying to get caught up with things around here.  Excited that I am 1 DPO and maybe have a little zygote!!  :D

Where do you live???  I live in Utah so I FEEL your pain!!  I swear every time I walk in a grocery store and I see mom's with like 4 kids under the age of my one and she's got a bulging belly..it just makes me want to jab my eyes out sometimes, ya know!!

Yes, it does appear we are in the same boat!  DH had to give his first, "sample" (what a weird experience btw!)  but we are doing his analysis through a study so we don't get the results for like another 2 weeks.  Good luck!  I know it's the good and bad of someone telling you all is 'normal'.

Welcome!  It's good to hear you have big gaps.  It makes me feel less guilty not having given my one kiddo who is 6 a sibling yet :)

I'm definitely going to come back and look at this more later.  I've always found it so interesting how my moods can change so drastically from week to week in my cycle!

AFM:  DH and I joined an infertility study this week.  We had to donate lots of blood, answer LOTS of questions and then DH had to make his "deposit".  One of the weirdest experiences I've ever had...lol.  We don't get any of the info except for the semen analysis.  But since we are doing it this way, it's free.  My insurance doesn't cover fertility treatments so we are having to pay out of pocket for the bulk of this.

I got my sonohystogram done Tues.  He says all looks pretty good/normal, though I don't have quite as many eggs as he would for my age (I'm 31).  But he doesn't want to put me on clomid or anything until we see DH's semen results.  But I am hoping that this little procedure does in fact bring us our surprise BFP this mo since it's suppose to increase chances.

My temps have been all wonky this week.  I think I've been fighting off a cold.  According to FF, I O'd on CD10..which has NEVER happened before.  But I had fertile CM for several days after.  I thought I was getting O pains on CD 12 and was getting all bummed because DH was having trouble that night so I was really worried we'd missed our window.  But yesterday day and this am, it seems like there is still fertile CM, though maybe not as much as earlier this week.  So we were able to DTD last night and this afternoon.  Temp dropped back down this am, so I am thinking I may not have quite ovulated.  I also tried using an OPK yesterday, but I freaking HATE those things!  They so confuse me.  I told DH, we should just aim to DTD either every other day or every day for the next few days just to cover the basis.  The good Ol' fertility Doc says I should mostly pay attention to CM.  He says the temps can be deceiving, which is contradictory to what I've always heard before, so I'll try it.

Keep thinking fertile thoughts everyone!!
