Noticed I haven't been added yet so please add me to 'waiting to O' thanks.

Delightedbutterfly I hope you get things sorted next time you see your doctor. I think they say it needs to be 11 or 12 days minimum for the LP, and B vitamins can help lengthen it?

I'm here and Waiting to Know! We started trying last week. Just based on counting days, I probably O'd on June 27 or 28, so I should know in another week and a half or so. If it doesn't happen this month, I'll start charting.

Last time, all it took was one night and a bottle of whiskey, so I'm hoping this baby comes fast as well. winky.gif

I'm still in the 2ww and getting very confused and frustrated. My temps were staying up high longer than usual and my projected date for AF was yesterday by my normal LP of 14 days. Yesterday, my temp dropped and I assumed AF was coming, then today, my temp went back up. I was sick in the bathroom for about 30 minutes this morning and still haven't eaten anything but I had a BFN this morning. I had gotten myself all excited that this was it since my dog, who usually lays on the side of my legs has been laying across my belly for 3 days. I thought he would know probably sooner than I would - animals are awesome that way.... but now, I don't know! I am ready to either get a BFP or AF and just be done with this waiting!!

Hey Peeps!

I was on here maybe a year or so ago??  Anyway, it's been three years off BCP's and off and on TTC #2 and here I am back again!  Currently, I'm 6DPO.  Here's my chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/3076f9  You may notice, that we STOPPED DTD before I even ovulated!  This is because of course, I've been O'ing around CD 13 or 14 for months, and DH got burned out after CD15, so unfortunately pretty much missed this window, unless the temps are lying...

So the current sitch is that I've been having short LP (not a lot but always a day or two short) for quite awhile now.  We've finally made an apt with a fertility specialist which is happening next week.  I've put it off for quite awhile because we have to pay out of pocket.  But since DS is now SIX, I've decided enough is enough and we need to get this train moving!!

I've been using an herb called Ashwaghanda and Vitex for the past couple months.  I'm not sure if they even doing anything, but it makes me feel like I'm helping something.  I have a B complex, but the bloody pill makes me vomit everytime I take it, so I haven't had much success with the whole B6 scenario.  I have been suspect that I have a low progesterone level for quite awhile, so very interested to see what this Doc has to say.  Plus, then we can get DH evaluated also to see what the issue is!

Anyway, thanks for letting me be on this ride with ya'll and happy baby making!!!

Thanks for starting the new thread, delightedbutterfly!

marcyse, I hope you find out one way or another very soon.  The waiting is agony sometimes!

Fingers crossed for you, MamaJen!

We're getting ready to travel and I will be gone during my fertile window and possibly through when AF is due.  Therefore, I am packing OPKs, HPTs, and my Diva Cup. whistling.gif  Sheesh!  DH is heading home before I am supposed to O, but I am hoping that it happens on the early side of my normal range so it will happen the day after our last night together.  Really hoping for this cycle!

I'm waiting to O at the moment. Trying something diff with the soy this month. Usually take it days 5-9, did 4-8 this time to try and move up my ovulation date since my hubs is traveling for work. H leaves on the 8th and won't return until mid aug. so potentially a 2 month break greensad.gif I really wanted to be pg again before my 35th birthday...this September greensad.gif today is CD7 for me, hoping I ovulate early but since its not been happening til CD 22-23 I doubt changing my soy by one day will bump it up a week. Gah, I hate this part. Wishing I could change my broken body. I'm too afraid to stop taking the soy though, because I have been having relatively regular cycles on it, even though my luteal phase is all over. Gonna schedule my first RE appt. might as well do my testing now while hubs is gone so we are on track for when he gets back

marcyse fx for you, temp going back up is a good sign! As long as AF isn't here you still might be, and I personally didn't get my last BFP until 16DPO! I had been testing each day before as AF was late and my boobs were very tender so I thought I was pregnant, but all I got were BFN's upto 16DPO which seems crazy when a lot of people here seem to get them from 8-10DPO.

gator-mom welcome back! You still have a good chance this month because your last bd date was 3 days before O and upto 5 days before O is considered very possible.

teajunkie our situation is similar to yours this month, not the best ttc period. We will be apart and so unable to bd on cd 15 and 16, and I usually O between cd16-19. So will have to check my Opk tests in the days leading upto cd14 to see if it's worth trying early incase I do O the weekend we are apart, so at least there is a chance, otherwise if we wait until we are together again on cd17 it might be too late and O already happened. Needless to say I'm more anxious about it this cycle. But then I think we timed it perfectly last cycle and it didn't work anyway angry.gif

It looks like I will be with you both TeaJunkie and Winter.  I guess I should be moved to waiting to O. This morning my temp shot WAYYYYYYYY up, and I was sick all day yesterday and this morning, but along with the sickness came what looks and feels to be AF, with some nasty back cramps! greensad.gif I am out if I have bright, red, blood, right? My temp is probably up since I am sick, I'm guessing? If you have any advice on this, please let me know.

We are traveling coming this weekend all the way through the fertile window with no privacy to BD. Might be just as well, anyway.... DH is going to a urologist today to see about his sperm (some with defective heads), so maybe we can take this month off and treat that (I dunno if that's possible, I guess we'll find out today) and maybe relax a little bit. I was hoping to be trying strong in these couple months since I just had an HSG done and the doctor said that there is an increased chance of pregnancy in the first 3 months following.

Good luck, MamaJen and Marquess!

Hi ladies!

I am waiting to know - I think I O´ed on the 22nd or 23rd (not temping bc it stressed me out and I have very obvious CM). I should be able to test in a few days, but I am not feeling it. I think I am PMSing right now.

This would be my 2nd - my DD is 2.5 this week and I cant remember what my TWW symptoms were with her. I had a miscarriage in April and this is my third full cycle since then.

Good luck to everybody!

Best wishes and baby dust for everyone!

I know I don't post that often-- its nothing personal- I am just trying to remain positive and not over think (obsess) about it all the time.

We are really stuck right now.

My husband has been hospitalized since June 15th so we are going to miss a cycle or two during his recovery, which is really disappointing for both of us. As you can imagine I am busy trying to go to school, work, take care of the house, visit him at the hospital, errands, lots of paperwork for his job, etc. I am tired to say the least.

We are both struggling with how frustrated we are right now. We hope that by the fall we will be able to get a referral to the fertility clinic.

As time goes on it is becoming more difficult as more people are pregnant in our lives. The other day our 5 year old nephew told us he wanted us to have a kid so he would have someone to play with (however, not a baby like his mom had 6 months ago) but a kid. LOL! It was so cute but also broke my heart.

Hi all. Been away for a while just trying to chill about TTC #2. Wanted to send baby dust to you all though!! Having trouble remembering to temp this time around. Was sick two nights ago and has broken sleep,so couldn't temp in the morning. Then this morning I jumped up to get my daughter without thinking. I am waiting to O (or already Oed) so the timing is not ideal to miss two days of temps. Still DTD every other day so bases covered I think. Oh well...if a march baby doesn't work out then April sounds good!!

Tinytina I hope the hubs is OK and recovering well!  I can relate to your sentiment.  That is one of the reasons I haven't been on here in the past year, but I decided I missed the comradery :)

I can also relate to the kid asking for babies thing, except that mine comes from my six year old when he says, "I just don't want to be alone, Mom!"  And when he saves his toys, clothes, ect because he wants to keep them for when the baby gets here..    Adorable, but heart breaking!!  He even told me at one point that if he had a little sister or brother, he'd even share his snot rag with him/her!!  There's a story behind that one, which involves lots of paper kleenex ending up on the floor, and one fed up momma!!  ie:  Now we use cloth hankies :)

Good luck Teajunkie, Winter and Marcyse on an early and happy timing!!

Hi All! Should be updated up to here, please remember to make your Changes in BOLD so I can pick them out easier ;)

Winter2013 - Yeah I've heard longer is better with LP's. I have heard of people having healthy pregnancies with small LP's but it doesn't seem to be the norm. I'm on B complex, progesterone and Metformin and some other vitamins... I feel like an eldarly person at meal time with my little bowl of pills!

TeaJunkie - fingers crossed that those swimmers stay long or you O a little bit early! Being apart really sucks when you are TTC!

Gator-mom - Hoping your stay this time is short. I totally get the on and off and wanting some peace! I'm preparing to settle in here for the long run. I just know my DH will get very very bored of me soon if I don't have others to talk about with but if it takes forever then I can see needing some space to just relax in the future. I'm trying to be relaxed... But something about trying and taking meds and temping isn't very relaxing!

newgirlintown - HI!!!! So Sorry to hear about you miscarriage :( Hoping for a positive result this month for you!

Renaissance31 - Oooohhhh! Keep us updated! Sending some sticky baby dust your way!

marqess78 - Sorry you are having a husband away cycle too :( Mine has to go away for work often, and while the first part of this year he was home straight through, we weren't trying... And now that we are? It looks like we may not see him for a few months come Aug/Sept :(

marcyse - Fingers crossed you are able to sneak away and find some privacy to try! And that your husband will be able to get some answers!

bonadl - I have a hard time remembering to temp too. Often times I'll get up to do something without thinking! I'm better if I put the therm on the bed beside my phone rather than on my nightstand for some reason... I'm now looking at an April DD... which I'm mostly ok with... Except MIL's birthday is in April, she'd be happy with a birthday baby... me? not so much!

AFM - Just finishing up with AF. Sending her packing today! I got glutened yesterday so my stomach is mad at me. I don't usually eat at other people's houses without a lot of calculated planning. This is a friend with Celiac as well but I always forget that she is no where near as strict as I am. She also doesn't get the symptoms I do. I think it was the chips I ate as the dip she made should have been ok...

Hoping to start DTD every two days for the next week and then every day for a few days and then back to every two if I haven't O'd by then... Going to try and be super strict on taking my meds and temping! Also going to work on getting in some more exercise and continuing to eat better!

Hi Everyone,

Nothing new to add just jumping in on the thread. I'm going to get my Fertility Friend account activated again so I can get back into the charting with you all. I'm shocked how much I have forgotten in the last year. I used to know every. last. detail. about TTC and my cycles...wow, not anymore! Time to do some reading and charting to catch up!

Seems a lot of us are in the same boat...DH is away on placement for his schooling during the week this month. He's been gone the last 2 weeks and will be gone the coming 2 weeks, but will be here on the weekends (tomorrow yay!). So I'm not very hopeful about this cycle. I'm not very hopeful at all actually. I know I should be seeming I was able to get PG in January, but we are nearing the date when I would've *ideally* liked to be PG again, and I'm not...and I am feeling all of the stress, anxiety and hopelessness creeping back from our TTC #1 journey. Silly really but there ya go.

FX for all of you (and me wink1.gif)!!!

I am on cycle day 7 today hooray 1 week done! 1 more to go before O and trying again yay. I am just waiting for the days to pass, remembering to take my vitamins, keeping hydrated in the heat and trying not to eat too badly.

Still quite anxious about which day I will O as it varies between cd 15-19 and dp is away for the weekend on days 15-16 so I'm going to start using the opk tests next week from about day 12, and if a line is starting to show up (still negative but starting to get there) by day 14 which is Friday, we will try on that day incase I O on the saturday or sunday while dp is away and we can't try those days. If there is no line at all or extremely faint, then we might not bother with trying on the Friday and instead wait for him to get back and try on the Monday which is cycle day 17. -As hopefully that will mean I won't O until day 18 or 19 anyway. Ahh timing is so stressful some months!

Where is everyone else in their cycle?

Ooh so cool Renaissance31!

Thanks, delightedbutterfly :)

I feel soooooo pregnant right now. I have lots of very mild cramping, while usually I don´t start cramping until the day of or the day before my period.

The only test I have access to right now is not an "early" detector, so I will wait until Saturday....although I am not sure what is worse - thinking I might be pregnant and building up excitement that might be dashed or having a test tell me I wasn´t pregnant and then that I was in a few days, possibly? It is solved for me as I only have one test! :) (On an island, long story ;))

Hi everyone!  Please move me to waiting to know.  I'm 3 DPO today.  Trying to not obsess over every feeling this month, since the past two months I've been so so hopeful and pretty certain I was pregnant without luck.  We are heading to the beach for a vacation with friends and their kiddos, so I'm hoping that will be a good distraction for me.  And I'm not packing a test so I'll have to wait until we get home (oh gosh, unless I sneak out to the store while we're there...I WON'T do that!!).  I should actually wait for three days after we get home to test anyway...I hope I can hold out!  The emotional roller coaster of the possible false negative for days--I just can't handle it.

Good luck to you all this month!

Ahhh, I'm like 8 days post-ovulation and my period is due in 6 days. Right before I read this, I was having a little mild cramping and thinking, oh, I must not be pregnant, feels like PMS. Then I read this and remembered that early cramping can be a pregnancy sign, plus I never cramp until a couple of days before my period. I made myself a promise that I wouldn't test this month until I was at least a day late, but I may break that promise and test on Sunday.

Hi All!

I am kind of new around the boards and just noticed this thread.  I posted this in another thread, but I will post it here!

DH and I have two beautiful children!  My DD and 4 and my DS is 3.  About 4 months after we had DS, DH had a vasectomy.  We knew about a year after he had it done, it was the biggest mistake ever.  We wish we could have it reversed, but $3500 is a lot of money for a one income family.  We decided at the end of last year to start praying that maybe it would reverse itself and in the meantime, save up some money if it didn't.  We also bought one of the Micra At Home Sperm Count microscopes.  We LOVE it.  The first time we used it, around the beginning of December there was absolutely nothing in his semen.  He started having pains a couple of months ago that he described as his vas being pulled on.  We decided to wait a little bit and do the test again.  When we did he had SPERM!  Not all of them were moving, which is understandable, but he had them.  Anyways, we found out he had them and we started trying.  We were both so excited!  Anyways, I am currently 16 DPO, 2 days late on my cycle.  My periods are ALWAYS like clockwork, 28-31 days (31 being the absolute most) and I am getting BFN's!  IDK what is going on, but I am going crazy.  I have absolutely no symptoms either way.  I do have MILD cramping, but that is about it.

So with all of that being said, I guess you can put me in the IDK what is going on category.  HAHA!

Anyways, nice to meet you all!  Can't wait to get to know everyone!!

Shanna
