I know the answer varies from person to person, but I'm curious to see people's experiences. If you use/have used OPKs to predict ovulation, and then confirmed with temping or other methods, how much time elapses between +OPK and actual ovulation?

For bonus points, tell me when you think I ovulated on the two charts on my FF page:

The first one is my current cycle, the second is when I got pregnant with my son two years ago.

It definitely looks like you ovulated on day 33 for both cycles.  I also get a temp dip on my ovulation like the one on your charts. :)

Do you think it's weird that I would O two days after a +OPK (well, three days after the first one) one cycle, and on the same day as the +OPK in a different cycle?

And it's funny, but I never really paid attention to the dip. My temps tend to be a little all over the place. But those are two pretty big dips...

I don't think it's that weird, since maybe you took the tests at s lightly different times, or your urine was more diluted one moth than another.

To answer your poll question, I usually get three positive OPKs per month, and I usually ovulate on the third day.

So far, the results are pretty evenly split. It's a little more of a moot point for me now, since whenever I ovulated, apparently our timing was good!

Normally I ovulate the day after.  This cycle it was 2 days later.
