Hi! I had a laparoscopic myomectomy a few weeks ago for one 12cm fibroid. My OB says I have to wait a year, then have an hsg, then TTC. My RE and another OB said 3 months and waiting any longer is ridiculous. Of course, they didn't do my surgery. But I know my OB is very conservative. I was TTC until it was confirmed that the fibroid had gotten large and I knew that could create complications...we tried from Sept 2011 until Jan 2013. I have a son who is 3.5 and we conceived him our second cycle trying. I don't want to wait a year for no reason. At my post op appt I will have the OR report sent to my RE so I will be talking to him, but...

Anyone here have a myomectomy? How long were you told to wait? Seems what I see online tends to be 3 to 6 months.

Loving mama to one sweet boy!
