Watery discharge changed back to EWCM...I tested but was told to maybe wait til Friday or so since that would be two weeks from conception instead of me testing today (2w from sex). I have to say, I feel pregnant. Not because of symptoms, but because I'm in a haze. This morning I had déjà vu with regards to this haze, & recall last time feeling like this with my son. Maybe I'm wrong, but we shall see.

Congrats on the BFPs!! So exciting!!!!! All this charting & symptom tracking does pan out wink1.gif

Hello all... My BFP was confirmed this morning at the doctors office. A little nervous because it was still faint she said, so I'm going to do an ultrasound in the morning to be sure it's not ectopic (scary!) I guess I'm officially a September graduate! I Love this thread so much... I really really really REALLY hope all of you get your BFPs SOON!!!

Wow!  So much going on!  Congratulations to all the mamas with their BFPs!

I am now waiting to O.  And things are feeling back to normal after this last cycle and even though that was supposed to be our last, we're going to keep TTC for this month.  Everything is crazy with the start of school, an upcoming move (after some whirlwind renovations) and DH on tour every other week for the next month, but maybe it will be just the distraction I need to not think too hard about TTC.  Kind of needed a break after being semi-obsessed all summer.

Fingers crossed for fall BFPs for all!

phunkymama, welcome -- hope you can figure out what is going on soon!

RoseMom - congrats again!!!  Let us know how your U/S goes.

Tara -- how are you doing?  What's the latest with the possible squinters??

Jesepumpkin - I'm so sorry for your loss!!!

Winter, Dianna, mamalovehm, eazar, delightedbutterfly, and Jesepumpkin -- fingers crossed as you all get toward the end of your 2WW!!

edited to add: NaturallyMo, I think the idea with vaginal temping is that the resulting temps are very steady.  (My temps tend to fluctuate all over the place, but I still see a pretty clear shift so I don't worry about it too much!)

i vaginally temp because it's easier. i can go back to sleep without having to hold anythign in my mouth! and when it beeps it doesn't wake up DH. i do find it more consistent then when i used to oral temp. just have a designated thermometer and make sure no one touches it. wipe it down with alcohol after reading (okay i only do this every 2-3 days). it is easiest if you don't wear undies to bed.

congrats rosemom!

welcome phunkymama, i think i'm following you on this. i think that you ovulated with the EWCM and the sx can be part of that. Is is unlikely to ovulate less than 10 days into your cycle. but not impossible. I would test CD26. the headaches, lightheaded, and heat intolerance are pregnancy symptoms too.

To all my cycle buddies, keep the faith ladies! Those BFP's are on the way! I'm doing my best to stay calm and patient. It's difficult though woke up this morning amd so desperately wanted to test, but I'm going to be good and wait.

With my ds I don't remember any real Symptoms early on, but that was 11 years ago so who knows???

Extremely sore boobs still and temps ip to 36.9 which I've only hit in one or two cycles for a day before.

Delightedbutterfly I would like to volunteer to be thread keeper for October if no one else minds? :love

Rose Huge congrats, so happy for you that it didn't take long too! Happy and healthy 9 months.

Phunkymama I am in the same boat now, as my previous pregnancy symptom of overly tender boobs I have right now, so we should be pregnant... right? Getting very anxious.

Jenjy Thank you for crossing fingers!

I am confused because I just TESTED at 8DPO as I just couldn't resist... and have like a slight something on the test like a shadow, and I had these before and it was just the evap. I don't like the internet cheapies anymore because they do get my hopes up and it's all for nothing. So I just ordered 2 digital pregnancy tests which should arrive in the next couple of days and give me a clear 'pregnant' or 'not pregnant' in the indicator box.

I will probably be checking the pregnancy test 200 times today :nut haha

Good luck everyone, have more will power than me to wait to test :irked

Ok. Can someone talk to me about reading the test past the ten minutes? I got up at 5...took the test (actually took two different brands...lol). I saw two BFN's and went back to bed. Woke up an hour later and one of them has a faint vertical line (as in positive). But, it says that you are not supposed to read past 10 minutes. Thoughts?

Everytime I have looked at my test after the ten min mark and there is a line there that wasn't there before I Always get my hopes up and they are just destroyed everytime greensad.gif so I wouldn't go with that take another in a few days and see what happens. Just last week I looked at a test after time limit and bam a dark line now I haven't got anything so it was an evap for sure

Mama - that would be an evap line. I've had the same thing multiple times and not been pregnant. It always happens with the blue line tests; now I try to get pink or digitals.

Yay Rose!!! Nice to have confirmation from the doc smile.gif

Thanks you all who have responsed! I know my initial post was all over the place, but wanted to get it all out. The madness continues! Itchy tingly nipples this am; left is actually somewhat flaky & I haven't been scratching as it just started this am. Haze and tiredness continues. Sore boobs gone. I have narcolepsy so it's hard to tell what's going on in tired department, tho do seem to be way more tired.

Congrats to all the BFPs this month!!! :joy

Good luck to those in the 2WW with me, please change me to waiting to know. I am 6 DPO and trying to be hopeful. We'll still BD tonight just to be sure (the doc says that it could happen all the way to 6 DPO, unlikely, but worth a shot)! I completely forgot to temp yesterday morning so I can't really tell if this thing that looks like a dip is actually a dip or not. I guess we'll see. My LP keeps getting longer and longer, which makes the 2ww so much more unbearable. http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/42ab31

Also, we had our follow-up appointment with the fertility specialist Tuesday last week. Literally everything is fine. With both of us. Which is awesome - but only about 25% of me is encouraged by this news. The other 75% of me is saying, well then WTF?! I've got about double the follicles I need, DH needed 10 mil to get to where they were going in what I would only call a "centrifuge" test and he had 93 mil. The only TINY thing that was a LITTLE off was my thyroid function - should be 2.5 or lower for TTC and mine was 2.58. Big whoop - she said it wouldn't effect anything. So, the next step, if/when we take it is Clomid with IUI - which the insurance doesn't cover at all - they said about $2000-$3000 per cycle. So, we're literally in the same boat we have been with no answers and no babies. We're going to continue trying for a while and then I guess decide and save for IUI. She said we could do Clomid alone if we want, but the chances are not increased by much. Anyone know statistics on unexplained fertility and ultimate success rate? I'm just wondering if we keep trying indefinitely when we should just be done..

Rose - when I was pregnant with my son 7 years ago my first blood test revealed HCG levels of 67. I was 2w+ past O, so about 4 weeks pregnant at the time. They repeated the test and it SHOULD have doubled, and didn't. The stupid nurse at the doctor's office - I ended up abandoning in favor of a midwife practice - told me I was probably in the process of mc. When I finally did my 3rd blood test, and had the u/s at 6w 1d my levels were high into the thousands and I saw a lil grain of rice on the u/s; all was fine! I even bled through 8w on-and-off. Try to stay positive, because in all honesty...YOU'RE PREGNANT :D It's easy to doubt when you want it so badly to be true! I wish I could say all the madness of charting & symptoms goes away after you get the BFP, but really it just warps into a different kind of madness ;)

ETA: Just read back at some of your other posts, if your blood test was done at 8dpo (or even around there) you would only be cd22 (or thereabouts depending on when you O'd, but even so, close). Point is, you're probably closer to 4w than 6w, and that's why your numbers are low. Just like mine! They thought mine were low because of when I had my last period etc. and they put me further along than I was, but they were wrong; it's not an exact science on their end when they're just basing off of your last period. You'll get a more accurate DD when you do the u/s. Smile! :)

Hey all

Rosemom- just wanted to chime in and say my bloods were low with DS as well. Prob cause I tend to O at least 3 weeks into my cycle, not on day 14 like docs still! go by. I don't remember my first beta but i think it was around 100. My nurse told me I should pray. If you tell a doc office your FDLP and they go by that and you O later, that may be a good reason, as phunkymama suggested. Also just a warning, if you do O later, but they don't base your dates on that, they may even say the bean measures small on u/s or something. It happened to me. But he was fine! Hugs and blessings mama. Be keeping you and baby in mind well and happy.

marcyse- sorry i don't know much about statistics for unexplained IF hon. But I want to offer I'm glad all looks good on your tests. And that I can definitely relate to the looong wait to know. My LP is basically the same for me, though it has gotten a day or two longer since I ;recycled' lol starting january. But the wait to O is forever. My last fe cycles are 37 days, with an O about day 25! Ugh. So like a month before there's even a chance each cycle. It's maddening.

jesepumpkin- best of luck hun!

scjp- oh man, really? so that never turned + for you? aww...

mamalovehm- doooon't do it. I mean, I say that and do it anyway. Just this past cycle I got so many lines past the limit, lines that i swear started at 1 min and got darker after the limit, etc. So confusing and kind heartbreaking when it all came to nothing. sure when you get a true bfp you'll know!

Winter- thanks for the thought. I did get another low temp tho and AF found me last night. Bummer. I think I figured something. 8dpo is a great place to be. Not too early for early BFP! But plenty early so testing is kinda fun and if it's BFN you're not out! Personally, I noticed this past cycle I was always waiting for the next bit. Waiting for AF to finish. Waiting for CF to show. Waiting for it to get close to O. Waiting for good times to BD and stressing that it was enough. Waiting for the temp rise. Waiting for it to stay up. Then it turned out to be false O a week in (2nd cycle this happened in a row! agh) make sure get more BD in, stress, waiting for real temp rise- finally! Then- gah!- the first week of LP is torture! Too soon to test! Wanting it to be close to 11-12 dpo so test would be accurate. But I was just rushing towards another AF. Why? Next cycle i am less testing, less stressing. And definitely not before I know for sure for sure that the real O happened. I don't want to spend each week of the month wishing for the next week, wishing time away until test time. i noticed that hurry up mentality in me and didn't like it. That said, I couldn't help it. So I don't blame you at all, mama, for wanting time to hurry up. But if I am in such a rush, I am missing time with my family as it happens now, and that's all I've got, really. FX that it happens for you real soon!

eazer- hugs. Maybe something magical will occur? But if not, best to you next time!

NaturallyMo- erm, well I have often thought I *should* try temping vag. My 17 mon old still wakes a lot to nurse so my sleep isn't great. Maybe it would give better consistency. That said, I haven't tried it. i just, um, can't. I have a glass BBT. What if I fell back asleep and it broke? Yikes.

delighted- ooh I'd like to be able to take it on. I thought about it, but I think I, too, need to take a step back from the TTC obsessing. It's eating up my life. So I better not, I'm sorry. wish i could help tho. While you're still on it though, hun, will you please move me to waiting to O? Thank you!!

Who was it who asked me about what happened with my squinters? Sorry I can't find the post now. Well despite a few more squinters that baffled and confused me, and despite getting just the slightest bloody streaks in CF yesterday morning, then nothing all day- got me hopeful, though i"ve never had implantation spotting before!- AF arrived last night. Had a nice glass of wine with dinner and plenty of dessert and time with hubby, so that was nice. On to next month? Who knows.

They are reorganizing some of the fora so things are being moved around a bunch at the moment and nothing seems to be in the same place twice. They haven't let me know it's over yet though ;)

Hi there,

I am new to TTC and this is hubby and I's first month trying. Been feeling very funny last few days and have had cramps since ovulation. DTD 3 days before 2 dyas before and 2 days after.  I have been tracking my cycles using a phone app and so far they have been accurate. Yesterday I couldn't resist POAS and I swear I saw a super faint blue line it was very soft i know it wasn't and evap line because it showed almost immediatley. I have PCOS so I am very hopeful that the first time is the charm. My symptoms have been sore and heavy bbs as well as sever bloating never experiienced it so bad to the point I had to go to the bathroom at work and remove my bra and pants they were so uncomfortable. I have been having cramps like my period is goin to start but It isn't due for another week and a half. I have severe headeaches, dizziness and nausea off and on all day but today the dizziness hit me hard out of the blue. TMI but I am having constipation issues too and that NEVER happens. The only symptom that does happen every cycle is the sore bb's but everything else is brand new. I know Its too early to really be feeling pg symptoms. Oh and the night before last i had a very vivid dream I had a girl and named her I could see her face and we named her something hubby and I never even were considering. I'm so confused and really want this to be real and I am hoping it's not all in my head. Oh and hubby won't even sleep next to me he says my body is on fire!! I am burning up! af.gifthat been the last few nights.

Any help or insight would be awesome thank you

:joy

phinkymama1, Delightedbutterfly, Tara2 thank you all SO much.. I keep saying it, but this thread is the BEST!
So u/s is done and luckily I had a really nice technician who shared some info with me.. She said she seen no sign of ectopic, and that she really thinks that I'm just very newly pregnant (about 2-3 weeks along), she said that she could see that it's (forgot what the term was exactly) is thickening which is what it's supposed to do while preparing for a growing preg. .. She asked what my levels were and I told her they were at a low 102.. And she said that it makes sense with how it looks that I'm just early. I REALLY HOPE YOU AND SHE ARE RIGHT! I'm supposed to go in for hcg labs tomorrow but won't be able to make it in until Thursday morning (the wait will kill me) and hopefully ill get those results later same day Thursday. I can't help but be so emotional about this.. But you all along with my husband make it easier for me.. I truly appreciate the support ladies.. Ill update for sure!!

Also, I'm confused about some of these acronyms!  What is POAS?  If anyone wants to explain a lot of them, that would be helpful.  Feels like I'm reading a foreign language at times!  I know DTD, OPK, CD, DPO, I think I figured out BD, DS, DD, DH.....

Rose...dying to know!  If they can't see anything on US though, I wouldn't worry too much.  From my understanding, they can't usually see anything until around 7-8 weeks.  I feel your concern though about the low HCG.  I had that happen with my ectopic.  And after re-testing, they even thought it was fine cause it had risen appropriately, but then after lots of pains, trip to ER a week later, and levels had decreased, we knew it was ending.  But then HCG started to rise again and that was their first tipoff it was ectopic.  Not trying to scare you or anyone, but in case others want to know how ectopics can be diagnosed....low HCG, slow rising, drops, then starts rising again.  I also started having severe pain on that side.  Anyway, I doubt that's the case with you since you OV so late.  I pretty much knew I should have been 5-6 weeks and the ER doc kept trying to convince me that I just didn't know what I was talking about and that I was really only 3-4 weeks.  But no, I was right and something was in fact wrong.

Cupcake...I had severe bloating in the beginning of my pregnancies, so that might be a great sign!  Good luck!

Me , 38 years old; DH , 39 years old
DD - 11 , DD - 9 (both from previous marriage), and me and DH have DS - 4 .

Rose - YAY!!!!!! fabulous news!! Congrats all over again orngbiggrin.gif

Cupcake - when do you think you O'd?

Rosie - POAS is pee on a stick, CD cycle day, DPO days past ovulation, DTD do the deed. I think OPK is O predictor kit?

Stuffy this afternoon and lil bit of a runny nose. Boobs still sore. Nipples tingly still.

Question! What is a good termometer for temping and where can I get one? I rather buy local if possible - drug store? About what so they cost?
