Wife-- That is reassuring that your BFP at DPO 10 was the same color. DH is still not sure it is the real deal because it is so faint. I am going to test again tonight and hopefully rest his concerns.

I love this group and all the support for each other--I will keep you posted on my progress.

Baby dust and love to everyone!:goodvibes

This was my positive at 10 DPO with my son. It might even be lighter than yours (the line looked darker in person). I'm not posting a picture of the actual test because I don't want anyone to freak out and congratulate me, the photo is over 3 years old. :rotflmao

Water Mama!! congrats on the BFP!

Delighted Do you have any updates? My temp dipped a bit around 13/14DPO and I was convinced AF was coming along... Holding out hope that you'll get a BFP!

I've been away for a couple of days (very busy at work).. DH has been asking if I've got my period yet and I keep saying "not yet", but he wasn't really understanding why I wouldn't eat ham, soft cheese, had a back ache etc etc (hahaha)... so today I gave him a little present....

You can't argue with a digital! Wishing so much luck to everyone still waiting for the BFP:goodvibes we can't quite believe how easy it was for us, some of our closest friends have been trying for years.. So we're just taking it easy and hoping for a sticky baby...

Water Mama likes this.

[Clare] Wife to an amazing man. Expecting our first little nugget babyf.gifLove my pooch and DIYing our home.

Hi Everyone,  I'd like to join your group!

I'm not sure exactly where I fit in though, maybe waiting to O?

I had a chemical pregnancy last week, but I am still breastfeeding and have not gotten my period back yet.  I obviously O'd though.  My dr. figured that my hormones were just too low to sustain it, or else my lining was insufficient.

We were so excited about another LO, June is a great month to have a baby.  But, hopefully in the next couple of months it will happen again.

I decided to nightwean dd, which has cut down on 3 feedings.  And she took to it well, which was such a relief.  Now that she's sleeping through the night, I can actually start to temp and get an accurate result.  I'm also taking b6 to try to push for a normal LP.  I will consider trying vitex if I don't get a period in a week or 2. Does anyone have any other suggestions about normalizing cycles while breastfeeding or getting your body to a place where it can successfully sustain another life?  I definitely don't want to go through another chemical again.  But I figure if I'm charting I'll know where my progesterone and LP is at?

Just checking in with you girls! I have been so busy the last few weeks and have been stalking but not able to comment much! Luckily for me, today is a slow Monday!

Watermama-CONGRATS ON THE BFP!!!

Berry-CONGRATS ALSO!!!

Clare-CONGRATS TO YOU TOO!!! Would love to read that book! orngbiggrin.gif

Kate-I totally feel ya! I have my ups and downs with this whole thing too. Today, I am feeling calm and thankful. Looking forward to next month. Seems like the timing with be excellent for ovulation! (It's on the weekend!) orngbiggrin.gif

Wife-I would love to lose about 15 pounds, what are your plans to try to lose a few? Maybe we could figure out how to encourage each other? LOL I really need a weight loss buddy. I'm probably at my highest weight since after my first child was born 13 years ago on Halloween! I'm 5'6" and 150....I'm a curvy girl! But I have to stop using the excuse that I work too much. I know a little exercise would be a great stress reliever!

delighted-I hate seeing you down! I totally understand though. I have convinced myself that our chances are so much better next month! I just don't feel that we maximized our chances this month either! We had so much goin on right around O time.

jenjy-Hoping my temp will jump back up too but with my erratic waking times, I have a feeling this rollercoaster temp track will be normal for me! greensad.gif

Tara-Right there with you on the waiting to test thing.....I'm so impatient!!

MO-I too have a friend who lives right down the street who just annouced her pregnacy too. We are exactly the same age, have daughters the exact same age and she has an adorable 1 year old little boy. I felt the same EXACT SAME way! It seems like everyone is pregnant everywhere and I am obviously not drinking the same water! Hugs to you!!

mygreenestgrass-I definitely agree on this TWW and the distraction it causes......I become a completely different (obsessive) person it seems!

scjp-Good look to you! Hoping for BFP for you!!!

AFM-Here's where I'm at today. I'm trying not to get to hopeful due to the fact that I think we probably had only one decent BD day within my possible fertile days. Trying to stay off the boards and I'm finding that harder and harder to do as I get farther along in this TWW. My daughter will be 13 on Halloween. I just absolutely love her so much! She is amazing. When she was born, for two weeks we felt that we had the most beautiful, amazing, and healthy little baby girl. At her two week appointment we found that she had low oxygen levels. Her pediatrician immediately had her flown to a children's hospital specializing in pediatric cardiology. Within days we had the diagnosis. She was born with Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia. Now almost 13 years, 4 open-heart surgeries and so many hearth caths we can't count.......she's a normal, almost completely healthy beautiful 12 almost 13 year old. I can't help but be thankful for what we have.

Today, I'm 6DPO. Tender Boobs-normal for me this DPO, Congestion-normal, a little constipation-not normal but could be based on what I have been eating lately.

*I attached my chart and would love some of you more experienced charters to take a look! This is my first month temping. I wake up early a lot so I have several open circles!*

Yeah, breastfeeding can cause a short LP. Bleeding after the CP though would count as your first "period" and CD 1. If you just recently night weaned, you might have already done enough to lengthen your LP. I ovulated before my first PP AF but I didn't have to change anything to get a normal length second one. It just resolved by itself.

LouLoudeer - I'm on myfitnesspal. I have it set to lose half a pound a week (which gives me about 1420 calories, I'm on the short side) but I've been aiming for between 1200 and 1400 to try to lose slightly faster. I really do need to get out and exercise though. I used to go to the gym with DH but his membership is in a different city and he's been too lazy to switch it or even attend the local branch as a guest. The treadmill is really the only thing I end up using. I really want to get back to running but I'm too nervous to run outdoors.

Congrats Clare, welcome to the newbies!

Wish I had more energy to get to my computer and do proper individuals but not today greensad.gif thinking of everyone and hoping everyone gets beautiful BFP's!

I woke to my temp slightly back up and the moms from my last DD's DDC all excited (they stalk my chart through FB wink1.gif )...

But it felt like AF was on her way and after the morning potty it was confirmed. I'm glad I didn't waste a test today. Feeling pretty bummed out. I wanted a positive for thanksgiving (Canadian thanksgiving today wink1.gif ). We're also going on a Dr Appt/Vacation at the end of the month (in order to see some specialists we have to travel about 7 hours away to the nearest BIG city) and I was looking forward to going to Ikea/TRU and buying a few things I wanted... I still could but I feel silly buying stuff when I'm not.

It's ok though the "trying" part is pretty fun. Going to try and be excited about that at least... Even though I'm lying here in pain greensad.gif

Going to bake a pumpkin cheese cake today... Mmmmmm not all bad!

checking in... been keeping myself distracted and therefore, sane. looks like there's been a few bfp's this month, congrats!! I skimmed thro all the October posts, lol. took me an hour!

Wife, I have to say how much I appreciate your "PSA" posts. I don't know where you get your info, but you're clearly reading stuff I don't have access to orngbiggrin.gif keep sharing it!

Mo - I'm 70 lbs over my target weight, most of it put on over the last 18 months of being on meds :-/ I feel bad about myself a lot. but I can hide it, my hubby still finds me attractive, and I have regular cycles; so I tell myself I really don't have an excuse to get worked up about it. of course I still want to get to a healthy weight (and avoid any weight-related health problems); but on a daily basis it's not interfering with my life in any way except when I start feeling bad about it. not sure if that helps any, but it's what keeps me going wink1.gif

I'm at CD 14 and realized I've been flying thro this cycle without even realizing it. we only dtd twice, way too early to do anything. I just haven't been in the mood (to hubby's consternation, naturally). partly I've been much more interested in nanowrimo and writing fanfic (haha); partly I'm just feeling out of sorts and "hands off". and I decided to apply for college next year, because nothing else is working out and we need a place to live next year (student housing?) but I don't want to get pregnant now if I do get in next year... right now I'm figuring I'll keep ttc, put in my application, and see which one works out first. but I kind of feel like I want college to win. which is probably why I'm not in the mood. or I might just be depressed.

Me 31, married to Wolf since 09/10. baby #1 due May 3!

Hi Ladies, Congrats on the BFP's to Watermama, Berry, and Clare!

I suppose you can add me to Waiting to O. I'm at CD 42 and I finally decided to go visit the Doc, he confirmed that I had a Chemical Pregnancy. My hcg level is still at a 14 and I should get a period when that drops below 5. I'm not sure if it was better living in denial thinking I got a few bad tests or knowing the truth; I'm just hoping AF comes quickly so we can start trying again!

Southbaymama- so sorry! I just went through that last month, and I agree. I was/am so conflicted if it was mildly comforting to know I can still get pregnant or if I just would really rather not know and be spared the strange period of grief for something that I never even really had- or I suppose maybe it was grief for what might have been...? I wish you much luck as you move ahead in your ttc journey.

Clarwyn- hope things start looking brighter soon. Sounds like you have some big decisions ahead of you- good luck with these

Delighted- pumpkin cheesecake? Yum!

Afm- AF today- that makes me "waiting to o". Anyone else feel like they're living in the movie Groundhog Day? :-(

jenjy- yay for O! Thanks for the thoughts re testing early.

Just quickly. I caved. 8dpo on a DT test with afternoon pee. 70% convinced there is something there.. within the first 5 minutes too. Tried taking pics but as usual I suck at it. Dh is getting more so we will see ... Either way I will know in the next few days, right? That is all.

Hi - new gal here. I'm 39, on the brink of 40 and ttc our 1st. Married 13 years and never had kid plans, then had surprise pregnancy earlier this year that ended in mc at 8 wks. At that point decided to give it a go and we're now in the middle of our 4th cycle. Using CB Fertility Monitor and Preseed... no charting or anything like that. I read the posts on this thread and was really impressed by the warmth of personalities and the support you all give eachother. I'm a bit shy so this is a big step for me! Thanks for all the useful info so far and I've really enjoyed the stories. Please list me as being in the 2 week wait. Thx!

clare - congratulations again!  I love the little present you put together for your DH.  :love

kateaton - welcome!  I am very sorry for your loss!!

louloudeer - happy early birthday to your DD.  :D  She sounds pretty special!!

delighted - Oh no!  I had such high hopes!!  :Hug

clarwyn - I think that's good -- you sound like you have a lot of things going on and that is great!  Forge ahead in life and TTC while you are at it!  It will work out!!

Siuann and mygreenestgrass - I'm sorry this wasn't the cycle for you.  :(

southbay -- I am so sorry that it turned out to be a loss.  I wonder if those sort of low-ish temps mean you could do well with progesterone supplementation?  I don't know a whole lot about it but wanted to throw it out there.  I think your chart didn't have a big temp spike after O... if I'm remembering right... Hugs to you.

Tara -- whoa!!  That is exciting.  Post a pic tomorrow if you take another one.

innacircle -  I'm sorry you went through a miscarriage earlier this year.  They are horrendous.   Welcome to our little group!  I am 40 myself.  That is weird to type because I don't at all feel 40.

AFM -- I will be 4DPO tomorrow and I have nice high temps -- love it!!  Feeling decently good about this cycle.

P.S. Updated to here.

You rock @Jenjy!

Welcome @innacircle. I'm sorry for your loss, they are never easy. This little group has been so supportive! And lately so many BFP's!!!

Pumpkin cheesecake is divine! And so easy to make! I only had one piece though because I also decided to bake some GF chocolate chip cookies today while I was at it (also made marinated chicken wings wink1.gif ) in the kitchen and had eaten way too many of those throughout the day wink1.gif

I also got my kids "school photos" done (decided to take them myself this year) and some furniture moved around. Oh and DH got a bunch done and we watched a movie together smile.gif All in all it was a good day, AF is again lighter than last cycle but I'm still pretty crampy.

Aw, thanks delightedbutterfly :shy  Your Thanksgiving sounded delicious!

clarwyn, I came back on to say I'm afraid what I wrote didn't come across as very sensitive and I wanted to apologize!  I didn't mean to say that it's good that you are feeling down and distanced from your DH.  :hug  I just thought your plan to apply for school and immerse yourself in writing sounded awesome.  I don't think those and TTC have to be mutually exclusive.  I hope you feel better about things soon.

aww jenjy, I knew what you meant! *hugs* and it's not that I'm feeling distanced from DH, just uninterested in dtd. I'm all "let's just cuddle" and he's missing the usual me, heh. tho tonight he was the one to tell ME no, because he's stressing about our money problems and it's making HIM depressed. blah. the furlough is turning into a real ttc buzzkill orngtongue.gif

southbaymama, so sorry greensad.gif( *hugs*

delighted, I missed your post right before mine -- sorry it wasn't your month greensad.gif I was really hoping for you. sounds like you're managing to stay positive, that's good to hear. *hugs*

Another day, another 96.4-something temp LOL.  Still no O, but I am reading that longer cycles are pretty common after a CP (last month's cycle was 34 days).  Glad to see that we are getting so many BFPs here... I am hoping to join all of you soon!  I am having little twinges and hoping it's  O pain and that it will happen in the next few days.  So frustrating! And what's even worse is that after all this waiting to O, we move into the TWW which is absolute torture!

So much good information comes from everyone in this thread :)  And so much encouragement!

katemonster: yes! The TWW is torture! I'm only about 4dpo and I'm going crazy! It just gives me too much time to overanalyze things and convince myself that we DTD at all the wrong times! Hang in there! Were you pretty regular before you CP? Hopefully your cycle will normalize soon!

Rosie: I was on a pretty good 28-30 day cycle until the CP (at least, the two cycles I had once I came off the pill) This may be TMI but I haven't DTD this much in....ever! It's just so frustrating this time because when I got pregnant with DD two years ago it happened sooooooo fast.  I mean, I was waiting for AF to come so I could start tracking and it never did!  I'm sure I will O any time now and it seems lots of people have long cycles after CPs.

Do you have lots of things to do to keep your mind off TWW? I do a lot of knitting, reading, and playing that stupid Candy Crush game on Facebook. Whatever you can do to stay busy helps :)

Accidentally posted this on September thread! Just a quick note. I am having 21-day progesterone test done in just a few minutes should get results this afternoon. First time I have had one. Pretty sure I ovulated based on my first month temping. I think I attached my chart earlier. Anyway I already had the orders from my DR. Thought I might has well have it done. Do any of you know what the benefits of this test would be besides knowing if I ovulated or not?

this is my busy time at work so I'll be extremely bust until wed of next week, DD has 7 bball games this wkend, plus just keeping up with all 3 kiddos! You'd think it would be easy....I'm also working on curtains for my living room....got my Mom helping. I think if AF doesn't arrive by wed the 23rd, then I'll test. That will be about 12dpo (not exact on O day). I can keep my hands busy but my brain never stops!!

HA!! I'm at DDs gym class, sitting next to a pregnant woman, and a man comes over to say his wife's pregnant! Awe! Now they're trading pregnancy stories! Is it awful of me that I want to tell them to shove it? Hehehe...

So having caved once (last night) it was impossible for me not to test again today. Ha ha ha. Sometimes I think hpts are like crack. So addictive.. Okay so once again I thought I saw something. In the time limit, very faint, pink. But goshdarnitall. Just not clear or for sure and I don't want to get my hopes up. I'd say 80% sure I saw something this time. 9dpo today. Eek. But it can't be, can it?

So I did take pics and all. You probably won't see a thing...

I took a few pics of test, one original, lighting not great. One auto level adjusted, and one increased saturation.. I think. Hope it's not two identical pics there. Oh well.
