He was "ignoring" as in he could tell I was upset but was choosing not to engage in my emotions... Partly I think he was just tired of my moodiness... Partly he's engrossed in the Hunger Games series and hasn't been able to put it down or talk or pay attention to anything since he started... I can't blame him because I hate putting books down and prefer to just be left alone to read. I would have like him to say "I'm sorry I know you are upset, it'll happen but it's so fantastic for her, do you want a hug..."

I would have gotten that if I had asked but I didn't want to have to wink1.gif

However I think he realized he was being a jerk because he called me this morning after he found out where he was working and apologized for ignoring me and being a jerk (his words) and sai it wasn't nice.

Mood is blah. Yesterday was horrible... I woke up tired, I wanted to go home and go back to bed after school drop off... But I didn't... I went to go get groceries since we were out of food. And in the parking lot I tranferred money only my debit (I keep different accounts and only keep a small amount on my debit at any one time) and did a really great shop. Rang it all through and realized DH still had my debit. I don't carry a CC (our only one is in DH's name and we only use it for hotels and online shopping wink1.gif ) so I was stuck. I remembered I had cash at home but they had voided it already so while I ran home, they re rung it through... I would have left it probably, I was seriously embarrassed but I also had my special cart coin (a special one you buy not actual money) in the cart and I didn't want to waste another hour shopping!

Then I got home and my computer desk exploded, my phone stopped working temporarily... And I decided everything I touched was breaking so I had a nap... Then I picked the kids up and my youngest wasn't feeling great and yeah the rest you know.

Today the little one stayed home (she threw up last night and fever yesterday afternoon) and now we're spot watching and I think she may have the CPox...

My FIL is coming for a visit on Thursday and the house is in so so shape... He won't care but *I* do...

My mood is better definitely but my life is just on the upward climb of the rollercoaster at the moment smile.gif I'm expecting AF while FIL is here but still secretly hoping she doesn't show and I have use one of the FRER's I have stashed!

I read that whole series in one week! I can't put down a good book either! And this cracks me up about "I would have gotten that if I'd asked but didn't want to". That reminds me of the movie The Breakup. When Jennifer Aniston is pissed at V Vaughn for not wanting to do the dishes. She wants him to want to do the dishes just to help her and he's all "why would I WANT to do the dishes?" Lol! So funny!

so sorry old Aunt Flo came to stay. greensad.gif I'm just within a day of knowing if AF will be at my house too. Totally understand how all the treats make you feel icky this time of year. One thing that helps me is having a high protein/ savory style breakfast. The traditional breakfast foods are so sweet and make me feel overly sugared up and icky the rest of the day. I finally decided to just go ahead and schedule a fertility appt with my OB/GYN (the same doc who delivered our son). I want to bring him up to speed on what we've been doing since April, my irregular cycles and what we are doing now. I also want to get his thoughts on doing some bloodwork and checking my ovaries. Things have been really weird since July and I know my body and know it should not have taken this long for me to get pregnant. Anyway, I'm waiting on him to email me back at scheduling an appointment.

Hi everyone, I have been following in the past week, but I am feeling so impatient and also in a lull. Not sure how the two combine, but they do. I just want to be close to ovulating, instead of on CD 9 when ovulation does not usually happen until CD 17 or so. Oh WELL, what are you going to do ?!

I use Answer brand since they come with 20 strips per box. Pretty cheap. Can't remember if it's $12 or $20...but it's more than a month supply for me.

I use the Wondfo OPK strips from Amazon. I bought a combo pack that's 50 OPKs and 20 pregnancy tests for $22. I haven't used any of the pregnancy tests though because I've read that they're inaccurate.

So, my doctor just emailed me back. I gave him a very thorough run down of everything going on with me and this ovulation stuff.

His first order of business is for me get some basic blood tests done and secondly, he said  I need to lose some weight. I maintained about 15-20 lbs (it varies) after having my son and he says that excess weight can cause irregular cycles. SOOOOOOOOO....I guess this means I'm on a diet.

Negative OPK today, but the abundant EWCM has begun! So I feel like things are going smoothly so far. My plan was to start BD'ing tomorrow night, so that's in line with what my body seems to be doing. My theory is: get some BD'g in every other day, starting tomorrow (or maybe tonight). Keep up the every other day routine til a day or two after the +OPK, then wait. I'm tired of scheduled sex, so I'll be glad when I get to my TWW!!

Is anyone doing that "I'm thankful for...." thing on Facebook? I laughed out loud today thinking how shocking it would be if I posted "today I'm thankful that my EWCM returned right on schedule"! Lol!! I wouldn't dare, but imagine the surprise my friends would get!

Good morning Ladies, haven't been on here for a few days. I'm back at CD1, please move me to waiting to o. Went through a slightly crazy testing stage this week - it's amazing how it gets hold of you and I realised I need to chill out more. Easier said than done. Anyway, new month, new egg! Fingers crossed we catch it this time 😊

So kind of weird last night but I went to the bathroom and had a ton of ewcm. I have seen very small amounts before but I've never seen this before. I am on CD22 so it doesn't seem like an ovulation thing but we decided to bd just in case. Does anyone know why it would show up that late in the cycle?

Forgot to mention it earlier. Thanks!

Alivewithyou, I think I read somewhere it's got to do with the corpus luteum producing small amounts of estrogen as well as progesterone. Your temperature should tell you whether you've o'd or not.

Not for sure, but mine was like this last month - EWCM stuck around off and on from O til I got BFP! But I had a chemical. So maybe you're pregnant! And my cycle tracking app thing noticed it too and was telling me "if it stays this way, maybe you're pregnant." I know it could also mean nothing. But the month prior, I had really thick pasty CM after O and all I got was BFN's. I think it's different for every woman, but for me, I'll take it as a good sign.

@SunnaRising - You gave the link to your ticker. If you go under Settings and then Home Page Settings, you can find the link that will take us to your full chart. You can turn off marking BD in your public chart if you don't want people to see that part but being able to see temperatures and stuff is mainly why we post our charts.

AFM - December 14th is our 'green light day' (I'm going to vote December 7th yellow light day if I'm not high fertility) to avoid having an August baby. I know it'll only take me 7 days out of August but DS was born at 40w1d, I don't think I'll have a baby before 39 weeks. That gives us 37 days to avoid, likely only a single ovulation, if I ovulate.

My parents also know that we're TTC (and that I'm anovulatory). I didn't really mean to tell them but my BBT thermometer gave me away. DH doesn't know that they know. We weren't supposed to tell anyone, meaning my mom is likely going to blab it to everyone.

Right of Passage likes this.

CD 15, negative OPK yesterday and really not much cm to speak of.  I'm 11 months postpartum and this is the first cycle since AF showed up.  Feeling very impatient!  Had a rough week with dd3 this week, and there were moments where I thought why do I want another one?  But still I do.  I must be insane.

BFN this morning cycle day 34, about 16 dpo. Hard not to be disappointed even in first month TTC. I learned so much this cycle. A lot I plan not to repeat next cycle. Now I'd love AF to come immediately; it's rude to be late and cycle hasn't gone 34 days in over a year. Of all the months for AF to mess with my head like that. greensad.gif

also, don't believe fortune cookie fortunes such as the one I got at beginning of 2ww. Contrary to what you think, a real psychic intuitive doesn't write those, they are made in a factory ... Gasp! wink1.gif

DH went to the doc today for a physical. He pretty much got a clean bill of health but was told that he too could stand to lose a few pounds. I guess we are all (with the except of DS) on a diet in my household. We could both stand to lose about 20lbs each but we both want this baby bad enough so I guess we better get to it.

So, I spoke too soon.  I noticed a lot of EWCM this morning, but the OPK is still negative.  This is the first time I've ever used OPK's- these are the d$llar store kind.  The thing is that we're also trying to sway boy, so I'm trying to time bd as close to O as possible.  Should I wait for a positive OPK?  I don't want to miss the egg!

After reading TCOYF I would trust the EWCM over the OPK any day. Personally I would not wait. EWCM is our natural OPK.
