So my opk was negative this morning (I will confirm this evening as well) and my temperature rose up 0.4 degrees. Is it safe to say I ovulated yesterday then? I just realized that we did BD two days before the positive (had no idea it was coming), the day of the first positive, and yesterday which was also positive. Will probably try to cover the next two days just to be safe. Feeling really good about our coverage hopefully our baby is ready to join us this month. smile.gif

Trying to get my lab results! Thanks for the advice innacircle. I called the lab and they told me they couldn't give me the results over the phone. So I said "if I come up there, will you give them to me in person?" So the guy tells me I have to talk to someone in compliance....yada yada yada....SO, I get compliance on the line and she tells me she'll email me a form, and if I can get it signed and faxed back to her today, she will get them to me. Fingers crossed! Now I just need to get home so I can get it from my email!!

Congrats on a healthy baby girl!

I've discovered in this process I have very little faith in anyone.
We don't really have much criteria for the donor, husband doesn't care if it looked vaguely like him (brown hair, blue eyes) so he decided to look for a donor with green eyes because he wants the baby to have pretty eyes like me. But we aren't terribly attach ted to that so this time we just looked through the whole on-line catalog for the local bank (not going to ship in from the states this time) and since I'm - for CMV that weeds out a good 2/3 or so of the donors, then we weed out anyone who isn't obviously Caucasian. I think by the time we were done we only had like 10 choices.Weeding them by health doesn't work because for the most part they are all healthy and so are their families. I generally discount anyone who has asthma because I have asthma and just seems like a bad idea for both the donor and me to have it.

And then as weird as it sounds you just have to see how you feel. When the shrink we had to see told us this i  thought she was nuts, how am i going to feel anything toward some person i will never know based on vague traits and health history. But it's true you just kind of know the one that's yours when you see it.

It is a surreal process picking out sperm but actually kind of fun.

A friend posted on facebook about some particularly tactless pregnancy announcements at their synogauge, and I commented that as someone struggling with infertility I would definitely find them hurtful. My husband chimes in with "It's not like you're really infertile."

Well, no, I don't have trouble conceiving, but I'm coming up on the due date for my first miscarriage and haven't ovulated in the last 5 months. If fertility involves the whole process from start to finish then that's the word I'd use. The feelings are the same, that layer of resentment every time a friend announces they're pregnant or has a baby.

We used to have a thread around here called Bitter Sushi Ladies which was for people not quite ready to dive into the infertility boards. I feel like a bitter sushi lady today.

My husband is the same way. He tries to be understanding but more often then not i get this face of "why are you so upset". Kind of makes me crazy.

I did feel better though the other day his acupuncturist asked how many cycles we have done and we he said 3 the guy was like "oh that's not that many".
How many is enough that you're allowed to be upset?

At what point am i allowed to be worried and upset this isn't working out?

I like this bitter sushi lady idea, i am totally into that. My husbands cousin apparently just had a baby (we didn't even know his wife was pregnant) and my thought was i hate them both.

so i am totally about the bitter lately.
I actually burst into tears last Shabbat when the couple with twins came in, so i am defiantly about the bitter.

I hope things get better for you and you can get off the bitter train.

It's fine.  It's a bit low maybe, but it's fine (assuming the ref range is the same one I had.)  My results are always lower than that, and only NOW have gotten a dr to prescribe progesterone.  That def. indicates O -- why the heck did they say you didn't O??  Again, that is assuming the range is what I think.  (Did they give the range?)  And you maybe would just now be implanting... it would be too soon for pregnancy range type values, I would think!

Oh yeah, you are totally good!!!  That is a HUGE relief!!!  Oh my goodness.  Now, I do think that they like to see a BIT higher than that (10?) for TTC'ers in a non-medicated cycle -- don't quote me, but I think it's something like that.  If you get your BFP this cycle, it might be worth getting another P draw to check and make sure that number is going up nice and high, and if it's not then you will have a great heads up to start supplementing if you'd like to go that route!

I'm 12dpo today so I'd say I would have already planted. But still. I'm a bit surprised that the nurse just blatantly said "the dr doesn't think you O'd". Or maybe she thinks it's too low to sustain a pregnancy and wanted to spare me. Who knows. I'm calling for some elaboration on Monday.

Honestly, that sounds like a perfectly fine number for 9DPO.  I think progesterone peaks mid-cycle and then starts going down... then it gets "rescued" if pregnant and goes back up.  It seems like you are totally in that realm of possibility!

I want to say last time (ectopic), she said it was like 12-13 and a bit low for their liking. So immediately after supplements, it was in upper 20's.

Yeah, mine was like that at 5.5 weeks and they said it was lower than they wanted to see.  But at 9 DPO --- I think that 8.8 is on track.  Getting it up to 20's with supplementation is fantastic!  I hope they can get you on it right away if when you get your BFP this cycle!

That's exactly in line with what I've read.  Mine was 10 when I had it done.  I can't imagine why they said no O.

I'm so glad you were able to get the results and not have to fret about the unknown all weekend.  Such a relief to at least have concrete numbers to work with!

So how high does your temp have to be to know if you're pregnant?

I don't know of any way to tell based on how high temps are. But if your post O temps stay above cover line for 18 days, this almost always indicates pregnancy.

Then I might just be pregnant.
I had 4 bfn's so far, but I wouldn't even be 4wks yet. I should have started AF by now. Right now I am 17 DPO. My temps are in the 97 range. I don't have symptoms of pregnancy nor of AF coming.
Gah. Wonder if I went to urgent care if they would do blood test :/

Not to be a naysayer, but didn't you say you have really irregular periods and aren't real sure of O date, and if so irregular, how do you know when AF is due?  Also, according to your chart, you're 15dpo (which puts you at 4weeks, 1day), but no red crosshairs.  But I'm new to FF, so idk what that means (if anything).  SO, in my opinion, I wouldn't go to urgent care for a blood test just yet.  I'd give it a few more days and if still BFN or no AF, then maybe call your doctor.  Again, not trying to be Debbie Downer, just keepin it real.

CD9 here, just chillin. Only times for BD are tonight, and tomorrow afternoon, then nothing again until next weekend, where it will again be a Saturday night/Sunday afternoon deal (DH has to work six days a week the week after next). In addition, my parents will be here on Thursday, so that should be interesting. heh. But with the way my AF was this time, I'm hopeful for an O date in the early 20s instead of the late 20s/early 30s. But if I don't O on a Monday or Tuesday (or maaaaaaabye a Wednesday) then this cycle is almost certainly a bust. I'm so ready to have this move behind us so we can get some REAL TTCing in. DH texted me a picture the other night of me when I was big pregnant with my second baby, and I started whining and complaining and saying, "See, look at what a whale I was." (I'm feeling quite flabby right now, and he and I had just been "arguing" about my body image, lol.) Then I said, "That's back when we were able to get pregnant with no trouble at all." Then he said that he misses my Benjamin belly. I replied that he can't miss my Josiah belly since I still have it. orngtongue.gif THEN he said, "We haven't been trying hard this time. Tell me when you're ready and we'll 'start trying.'" lol. I thought we WERE trying. I'm trying to talk him into driving back here in the middle of the week, too. We'll see.
