oregonmoon - yay for faint BFP lines!  We always like pics if you want to share (hint, hint).

rosie - your OPK is def lighter today but didn't you have an even lighter one yesterday afternoon?  So was it dark, light, now darker again (but not as dark as the first)?

Also, was your test time for that OPK earlier today than yesterday?

badwolf - sounds good for getting on track with DH.  Enjoy the snow!

naturallymo - you're on clomid this cycle right?  Does it make you feel any different?

edubluv - I can see why you'd consider hesitating.  The hope of the unknown is better than getting a BFN.  Your situation does sound really promising though!

AFM:  had my Mat21 appt today.  Both the genetic counselor and one of the u/s techs were out so there was a sign at the desk saying to expect delays.  I have lived in rural USA and in cities like LA, DC and STL.  I'll tell you what, one good thing about STL is the way they run their medical offices.  I was thinking I was gonna be waiting forever (like hours), and then the lady warned me that it might even be more than 10 minutes.  10 MINUTES.  That is not a wait in other areas - that would be like being a VIP!  Anyway, I waited 5 minutes and was done in 40.  It is like that at all my doctors' appointments here.  I'm getting spoiled.

They did a full ultrasound - lots of measuring and angles.  Got to see the baby's arms, legs, feet, head, stomach, bladder, heart chambers, profile, umbilical cord (with circulation) and the areas it connects to the baby and the placenta, and I'm pretty sure I saw plenty of butt cheek shots in there too.  Everything was normal and by dates I'm 11 weeks today but am measuring 11w3d.  Heartbeat was 158.

They started by telling me they were going to send my blood to Verinata.  In my head I knew that meant the test was Verifi not Mat21 and there had been no mention of their office offering both.  I said "don't you mean Sequenom?"  She said my insurance had a contract with Verifi.  I told her I had been expecting Mat21... and of course, no genetic counselor!  The tech said my insurance covered both so she went ahead and chose the Mat21 since it's the one I knew most about and was comfortable with.  I hate on-the-spot choices so I was glad she went ahead and selected it!  There was a doctor available but I got the impression he was primarily there if things went south in the ultrasound.  I saw the charting the u/s tech did and everything was marked normal so I didn't warrant a visit with the MD, which was OK by me.  And now we wait!

I think that is still a strong enough line that I'd probably be trying to get a BD in today.  I wouldn't feel comfortable calling it over unless my temp had jumped... I know you said it did go up but maybe it was a shaky result with the interrupted sleep?  Just in case...

Yay!  I loved your update!!

AFM: started spotting today.  I don't like to see the spotting because I know it means my hormones are bailing on me a bit.   The good news is that it held off a little longer than usual.

I'm not sure how many DPO. I had a miscarriage that began Jan 6. Had what I think was implantation spotting/cramping the 25th, 26th, 27th. Today was another very, very faint line. Will test again tomrw morn and post a pic.

Thanks ladies! The only thing different this time was the progestrone to get my period start and then one cycle of clomid at 50mg. I also lost 5 pounds this month and made sure I was getting plenty of sleep each night (sometimes making it to bed by 9:30 instead midnight and 1am and getting up at 5am). That's about it.

I guess Hubby and I will be spending an evening enjoying each other. Gotta make sure I put the little guy to bed early! Should we try to DTD every night, or every other night?

I understand not wanting to test. Anything shaking? My app starts yelling at me too and it's so annoying. Mine even says "pay attn to your alerts!" Lol...

inna: I took one other OPK last night/earlier eve. But I'd had quite a bit to drink. Sometimes it feels like you have to dehydrate yourself to take more than one a day! It was lighter than today's. Today's was same time as yesterday...9:15ish. Both with SMU....I will take another soon, but I drank a lot of water at work all day and it will likely be diluted. And nowhere near the 3-4 he waiting period since I last peed. I hope I get a good temp in am...

jenjy: I think I'd rather wait for a peak. If I don't get one, then DH got a much needed "break". I'm surprised I'm so calm about that decision. If DH gets frisky tonight and wants to, fine by me, don't get me wrong! But if I HAPPEN (fingers crossed) to get a peak in next two days, I want DH ready and motivated!

Good evening. I just felt like peeing on something and boy is it nice to see two lines even though apparently it means negative lol. This is a wondfo ovulation test. I've seen some of you post and the light line means you are gearing up right? Does wondfo not work this way?

They always have two lines when I pee on them. Same ones. The test will get dark and even darker than the control sometimes and that's when I assume they are positive.

Yeah makes sense.. just didn't know if that meant completely negative or "Getting closer" or what.. not sure how OPKS work. I wasn't expecting anything yet anyway, I know that I ovulate pretty late in my cycle.

Still high. I believe either I didn't O or the monitor missed my surge. Some women still get pregnant without the peak, so move me to waiting to know, please. My temp: ugh, this is frustrating me too. I took it at 2:30 (cause I woke up and figured "just in case this is the last stretch if good sleep I get"), and it was low 97.26. I try to always use a temp from around 6am. So I fell back asleep, slept well the rest of the night, and my temp at 6 was 97.64....much higher than the rest of the cycle, but similar to yesterday's awful temp reading. I guess I'll just go with the 6am one, but I wonder why it was so vastly different than the 2:00?...

@rosie2727 generally the body cools down at night and 'repairs' itself. So I'd stick with your 6am temp. Lots of baby dust for you. smile.gif

12DPO, 98.8 temp this am, no spotting, took a test and what did I find???

I'm keeping this pregnancy on the DL. I need to take some more tests until it gets really dark and I believe it more. Not telling anyone until they ask bc I not going to have the heartache of an MC and have to tell everyone.

@innacircle Hey there! No, clomid doesn't make me feel completely different. I feel about the same. Now the progestrone, that's a different story. I was all up and through my feelings with that bad boy. For the most part though, I'm ok. Just anxious to know if we're pregnant later this month.

DH and I DTD last night and we will again tonight. I haven't tested today (I usually wait until the afternoons) to see if we have another positive line. We were too excited last night to see that positive. It's refreshing, ya know? Anyway, fingers crossed this is the month! I'm feeling good confident. I do need to follow-up again with my doctor to find out what I'm supposed to do abut this blood test.

rosie - I would believe your 6 am temp as well.  So temps and OPK indicate you O'd - I wish the monitor had picked up the peak!  What the heck!

edubluv!!  I knew it!  Awesome!!!  Stick baby! :joy

NaturallyMo - that is great!   I so hope this is it!!!

OregonMoon - Clearly positive!  Very exciting!!  You said it is getting darker each morning right?  That's good so you know it's not leftover hcg!  Congratulations!

AFM: 11DPO, spotting continues and my temp dropped back down below cover and BFN this morning.  Oh well.

Thanks everybody! I took a test the day after spotting to be sure hcg was gone and test was totally negative so i think this is for real. Hard to be excited because of my recent loss but i'm happy to see this. I got married saturday so this is extra awesome. I really hope this one sticks!
