Should we start a march board? I'm on cd 10 hoping the vitex and B6 combined with no feeds during the day will help me to ovulate in 5 days or so like I used to and then have a juicy long LP or better yet BFP. We shall see. I hope you ovulate soon Harmony. My nursing cycles usually mean I ovulate around cd 20 or 21 and I've seen women get pregnant that way on fertility friend. FX for you!

Does someone want to take over for March?  I have not been super great about keeping up here.  Sorry ladies :)

Some of you should be getting to the point where you can test soon, right?

The waiting game is so hard.  It took us 3 years to have DD1 and then, we got pregnant (kinda without trying), with DD2, then had a super early loss and then it took 5 more months to get pregnant with DS.  DH and I had a talk this morning and he is saying he is done... like wants to get a V done.  so hard, but we will see.  He wont get it done without my support, so for now, he needs to wait.  DS is a year and no cycle yet.  We have not used protection though, so DH must not be super stressed.

I'm still separated from DH except for weekends, though. With it being SO SO late in my cycle already, and no +OPK yet, I'm not very hopeful. It's okay, though. I have another "baby" to concentrate on. orngbiggrin.gif

girlspin- hows the 2ww going?  When do you usually start testing?  I also got pregnant while nursing 3 times (one was an early miscarriage).   fingers crossed!

I am feeling a bit sad as I was really hoping for a November baby and still no PPAF or signs of true ovulation.... I am having tons of Creamy CM, but no EW.... waiting waiting waiting.

Updated to here, let me know if I got it wrong.

Chloe'sMama-- thanks! I'm now at 10dpiui. Creamy/sticky CM every day for the past week and no other symptoms. Tested since 8dpiui, all BFN. My last pregnancy was after a miscarriage, and I tested after I felt nausea, so no idea how many days post-ovulation that was.

I think I felt kinda nauseous today, but maybe that's from lack of sleep, lol.

My cervix was low and firm today, yay! My temp was up VERY VERY slightly, but it was taken at 3:30 a.m., and I can't remember how I need to adjust it for an earlier wake time. But the low cervix is encouraging. Until my chart proves me otherwise, I'm going to say that I had a +OPK on Sunday (when I didn't have any strips) and the LH was on its way out on Monday and Tuesday, and O day was Tuesday.

Thanks! It adjusted it up to a VERY post-O temp. And the OPK I took today was so light I could barely see the test line (the prior two days had a test line about half as dark as the control).

I thought I'd start taking my temperature every morning for this cycle. But I wake up at different times, usually between 3-5am., and usually wake up a couple times throughout the night nursing my daughter. Would these temps still be accurate? If I wake up once at 3am, and then try to go back to sleep until 5am, which temp is the one I take? So far my waking pattern is like this almost every day, as my dd wants to nurse around 3am.

I don't think it matters as long as you don't actually get out of bed. I wake up to nurse my LO multiple times a night, but it doesn't change my BBT. I take my temp around 6:30 every AM and its accurate. Just waking up doesn't affect it, its moving around that does it. If I were you, I use the temp when I'm actually getting up, or at least 5 am. 3 is really early, but can still be accurate as long as you commit to 3 am every day.

I would do the 3:00 a.m., or after whatever the longest sleep of the night was. You need at least three hours of good sleep to have an accurate temp.

Thanks ladies!! That would be 3am. I got up at 3am today to use the bathroom and forgot to temp. Temped at 5am and it was higher than usual. I used the bbt adjuster and the temp made sense. I always get up after the first waking..

My dd has stopped nursing from 10pm to 5pm the past 3 nights!! I'm hoping we're on our way to night-weaning and improving my chances of conceiving #2.

She's 33 months old already. I tried night weaning her 6 months ago and it resulted in me becoming very fatigued from lack of sleep. Now, she'll accept holding hands without a fuss. What a change!

Glad to hear about the night weaning.  Mine didnt until I was pregnant and then I encouraged them a bit.  It was pretty easy since my milk dries up pretty quick.

DD1 was 10 lbs 5 oz

DD2 was 9 lbs, 12 oz

DS was 9 lbs, 6 oz

Wonder if I had another if they would be smaller too.  I gained way more with DD1 (and the least with DS), so don't know if that had a little to do with it.  I was 10 lbs, 9 oz at birth and DH was almost 10, so we knew I would grow them big!

My first was 8 lbs 15 oz and 2nd 9lbs 6oz so headed in the other direction lol, I'm projecting the next one will be about 10. It's funny too bc with the 2nd I gained less weight.
My grandma had big babies, 10 pounder and 12 pounder!!!! Then she stopped after the 12 lb baby lol

I'm trying to cut down nursing sessions. Right now, my dd nurses maybe 3-5 times still, when she wakes up, before nap, sometimes randomly in the late afternoon, and before bed. This is already less frequent than last cycle, when she still nursed a few times at night and occasionally when we were out.

Should I cut down more? She didn't fuss over the night nursing, but she protests when I try to distract her from nursing at the above times..

You can just see how it goes. Some people need to cut out more, but some dont... are you in a big hurry? Being more drastic could be more effective but may not be necessary. Pretty vague, I know..... just depends on what your timeline is. Good luck.

I took a random test today and it was a bfn. I thought I had some ovulation signs 2 weeks ago right with dtd. Guess not.

How us everyobe else doing?

Lol, Chloe'sMama, I used to take pregnancy tests randomly last year before my first ppaf arrived. I was hoping so badly for ovulation.

My dd is turning 3 in June. I'm still hoping I can have a baby by the end of this year. But I guess a more realistic goal is to hope for conception before the end of this year to avoid disappointment from high hopes.

I just found out two of my cousins are pregnant and due this Oct. I'm so envious... I wish I would not react like this to everyone's pregnancies IRL.

Had my ultrasound on CD 10 today, and there's a dominant follicle this cycle, so most likely no need for Clomid. Yay! Last cycle on CD 10 I had a bunch of small follicles. Next ultrasound is on CD 13 to check on whether or not that follicle is growing.

The biggest change in this cycle is that I night weaned dd starting CD 2.

Oh ladies I am losing my mind over here! I am getting my fourth short LP in a row. The B6 and vitex seem to be helping me ovulate a hit sooner but my LP still won't go past 8 days. To make matters worse my son who only nurses at night has been nursing every hour for LONG periods of time. He cries like an exorcism is being performed on him of I try to do the Jay Gordon method on him. He cried and entire hour once and would hardly let me soothe him. He was so angry and desperate. It broke my heart and I gave in and fed him. I wish there was an easier way. Any suggestions?
