I just realized this month ( our 10th cycle trying)  that my temp peaks at CD19/20 but my cycle is only 27 days long, and knowing it takes 6-8 days for implantation to occur I am thinking this has been why I have not been conceiving, does anybody have experience with short luteal phases?

I think I've heard people say having a 10 day luteal phase is sufficient so yours might be a little short. There are lots of things you can do to support the luteal phase. I did acupuncture, herbs and took B6. Mine wasn't short but it wasn't strong enough to support a pregnancy well. I usually started spotting before AF and that was a sign for me that I needed some support.

I've had a few 24 day cycles lately (with a couple regular cycles mixed in) & I've wondered the same. I also typically spot prior to AF, especially during those shorter cycles. I'm doing acupuncture but not so sure it's helping me. PokeyAC, did you have lucknwith acupuncture & herbs?

I had 23-24 day cycles with O on CD 14-15.  I took 50mg of Vit B6 for 7 weeks and it lengthened my cycle by 1 1/2 days and brought O forward to CD 13.  That's when I got my BFP.  I'm now almost 13 wks pg at 40yo.  Good luck!

@t2009 I did have some luck!  He's 7 months old now.  I used many things though to help me.  I did acupuncture and herbs while TTC and through the first trimester.  I also took B6 and progesterone that my doctor prescribed.  I think it all worked together.  I did see changes in my cycle just from the acupuncture and herbs so I know it was doing something positive.

Awese, PokeyAC! Congrats!! Last week I started on herbs from my acupuncturist (have been doing the acupuncture but not TCM herbs for a while for gut issues) & also started supplementing with B6. We'll see ... Just started my 2WW right now...
