Hi everyone. I'm new to this site. I came across this site when researching maca powder. I have a 14 month old and DR and I have been trying to conceive since October. We have conceived twice and both ended in a miscarriage. Since then my OB has put me on vaginal progesterone suppositories when I get a positive pregnancy test. But I was looking at trying the maca powder and wanted to know what others have experienced with it? I have irregular cycles and tend to not have a lot of CM.

Hi Jenniferd17! Welcome to Mothering. I'm very sorry for your losses. I have not used Maca but I did use progesterone. I found that taking B6 helped strenghten my luteal phase. Has your doctor done tests to see if something is off in your hormones?

Hi PokeyAC,

No. My doctor hasn't done any tests as of now. She said if I have a third then I will not have a choice but to do testing. She didn't want to right now since I did have a healthy pregnancy. So I am just trying everything I can. I am going to start tracking my BBT again and doing ovulation tests. I'm taking prenatals and maca pills. So hopefully in may when we try again we will get good news.
