Hello ladies- It is already April- can you believe it is apparently Spring as I look outside and stare at the snow on the ground and a third of the year is gone already.

Let me know of any changes/stuff to add to the list in Bold please! I look forward to managing the thread this month. Hoping I can do a good job ;)

Sending baby dust to each and everyone one of you!

apeydef 04-01-2014 04:35 PM

Thanks @tinytina I just wasn't able to do a good job so I knew it was time to pass the torch! You can move me to Waiting to know we are not officially trying but don't use birth control either so I'm still going to follow bc anything can happen right??!!??

Kita4 04-01-2014 04:49 PM

Waiting to O please smile.gif

jenjy 04-01-2014 04:53 PM

Thank you so much for the new thread!  I am waiting to know.

tinytina 04-01-2014 04:59 PM

Updated to Here!

siuann 04-01-2014 05:07 PM

Thanks for being the thread keeper tinytina!

Thanks for the condolences regarding my dog. I'm doing much better now. Still hard, but I'm going to work on crafting more and doing things around the house to fill my time.

Can you please move me to waiting to o? thanks!

rosie2727 04-01-2014 05:14 PM

Thanks tiny!! And not to be the bearer of bad news, but at the very top it still says March.

And I'm waiting to know.

rosie2727 04-01-2014 05:17 PM

Every month that a new thread begins, I get a little sad. When I joined in Sept, I never imagined I'd still be here.

alivewithyou 04-01-2014 06:12 PM

Please add me to waiting to O.

Rosie I completely agree I've been around since October. It is so nice to see so many familiar names now but it also makes me sad because it means I'm becoming one of the old ones lol.

Siuann, losing a fur child is so rough. I lost my childhood dog in 2010 and it still makes me sad. I'm glad that you are doing better though.

Sorry about your furr baby. We have three dogs and nine cats, and we've had many older furr bakes pass on us so we know your pain.

siuann 04-01-2014 07:00 PM

Thanks alive and badwolf. Rosie, I feel you on the amount of time. Never thought I'd still be here. Me and a good friend started trying about the same time. Let's just say she had her baby in Feb.

nsmomtobe 04-01-2014 07:49 PM

I am waiting to know. I also can't believe I'm still trying after my loss in January 2013.

I'll go back over the other thread when I get a chance to see what I've missed since my last post.

I have been home with a sick child for the past 2 days. It's just as well I didn't have to drive on ice covered roads today. I hope they will be clear tomorrow.

And I did exactly the same thing with the thread title when I started the new thread for TTC after loss today. Welcome to April! Did anyone experience any April Fool's tricks?

chilee 04-01-2014 07:57 PM

no tricks. i did have a friend announce her pregnancy by posting her pee stick pic. i have known she was pg for a while, but some were not sure if it was a joke. i think posting it that way takes off some of the pressure.
i hope hsrmonys went well.

chilee 04-01-2014 08:00 PM

btw rosie ...i have a 10 day luteal phase...ugh.

what is everyone else's like?

Mine is usually a textbook 14 day. I LIKE to think that with that and my very normal cycles, that it should be indicative of decent chances of having another baby. But I'm losing my faith here...

t2009 04-01-2014 09:25 PM

Thanks, Tinytina for starting the new thread!

In 2012 I started spotting during my LP.  My OB assumed stress and my other Drs didn't know but suggested things like B6 etc that you did also.  It helped a bit, but I had blood drawn several times during the LP showing low progesterone.  Not low enough to prescribe anything though apparently.  Finally, my Dr prescribed me progesterone and I took it last cycle.  Not a bit of spotting during the LP, although I did get a drop when AF was due.  However, I was also pregnant (lost at ~5 weeks)... so the absence of spotting during the LP could be related to being pregnant.  However, I had plenty of LP spotting during my two losses last year (one chemical, the other made it to 8 weeks.)  So the bottom line is that I really attribute the spotting finally going away to my progesterone supplementation (started at 3DPO-ish).

Thank you so much for sharing, Jenjy! And I'm so sorry for your losses.

I am a bit worried if I am pregnant whether or not I can sustain it given my history of spotting. I've suspected low progesterone but haven't been tested. I can't remember if I spotted when I was pregnant with DS but I know my hormones were off at the beginning (2 BRNs after a BFP). We'll see ... I'll test tomorrow as AF was due today but spotting totally stopped.

@Chilee, my LP varies & has been mostly 12-13 days, though stretching some to 14 days in the last few cycles.

dmariev 04-01-2014 10:24 PM

I'm lurking here, hope y'all don't mind!

Siuann, so sorry about you losing your pup. It's never easy.

I have FX for all of you!

devilish 04-01-2014 10:45 PM

May I be added to waiting to be ready?

AntoninBeGonin 04-01-2014 10:58 PM

Yay!  April thread!  :D

Please put me in the Waiting to O section.  I may be waiting a while, I just came off my birth control that I've been on for 5 years.  I ordered a basal thermometer from Amazon tonight.  They always ship fast so I bet I'll have it by Friday.  I can't wait to start charting!

Lots of BFP vibes to everyone!  :energy

Yikes! Trying to be cautiously optimistic. It hasn't really sink in even though I had a strong feeling.

marilyn612 04-02-2014 05:46 AM

Ok yeah t2009!

Ladies I want to wish you luck with your journey. I hope you all get bfp soon. I will probably lurk for a while but not comment.

franluvsbubba 04-02-2014 06:11 AM

Mine is usually 11-12 days, give or take a day (so anywhere from 10-13, really). When I got pregnant with DS it was more consistently 13 days.

Congratulations, t2009! I hope you can get in to see a doctor ASAP and ask to get your progesterone checked and/or get a progesterone supplement. My family doctor refused to check my progesterone level but my RE has given me a prescription for progesterone supplements to start taking after I get my next BFP.
